The best real pub in Teignmouth.

In my humble opinion the best pub in town. A proper "boozer" where you meet up with friends. Always a good selection of ales.

Sat in their covered area. Really nice. Lovely pub

We've been to Teignmouth many times and can't believe we missed the gem of a pub. From been warmly greeted by the landlord and landlady, the great choice of drinks,a lovely area outside to sit in and friendly locals I can't recommend this place enough and we will definitely be revisiting when we are next in town.

A great pub serving a good selection of Ales. Very friendly and helpful staff. When I visited this time, the sun was shining and there was a great musician playing outside in the courtyard. Fantastic.

Some friends & I went to The Blue Anchor Easter beer festival. We were impressed with the beers available, most of which we hadn't seen before. It was good to find several dark Porter's & Stout's on the list, as well as some lovely, happy golden ales, all at £4 per pint . 🍻🍻 Some of us were lucky to get a Traditional Pasty for £4 which came from Mini Heaven bakery, they were quite large with loads of filling & no empty spaces. 😋 I only gave 4 stars for the food because some of us had the traditional pasty, some tried the vegetarian pasty or the cheese & onion pasty & all were very good but we didn't try any other food, so I can't really score it.

We saw a brilliant live band here this evening Conscious Club. Really nice vibe lovely venue. Just a few selfish people smoking even though there were no smoking signs.

The blue Anchor is a great place to go, fantastic Atmosphere great Beers 🍻 for the men,plenty of choice for the ladies. plus the landlord and landlady and top notch,also they put on lotts of entertainment for thire customers. It's a very welcoming place to drink and socialise. 😊

Went here Christmas 2023, few weeks ago. Great atmosphere with fast drinks service at the bar, lots of seating and good fun people. Don't know if they do food, didn't see any.

What an amazing pub! Went in for a Xmas drink and can say that the decorations are the best I have seen. Also out the back in the garden area is a garage with a whole village of lighted houses, shops, church, school, shopping centre and everything a village could have including a hot air balloon and Santa on his sleigh flying around. This is a must to take your children to. 😍

Friendly place with excellent range of beers and ciders. Outside area can be noisy and raucous on the odd occasion...(usually just a few individuals...not to be confused with the excellent live music they occasionally have on)

This really is great family friendly pub, real ale, good range gin etc, very helpful staff and fantastic landlord and landlady. Lovely garden and amazing Christmas decorations. The model village is worth a visit in its own rights.

In my view, the best pub in Teignmouth. Adele and her team have really worked hard to establish this as the go to pub in Teignmouth.

It's probably the best pub in Teignmouth for ale, in my opinion. There's always a good selection, with new ales every so often and, of course, the usual pub snacks. Tidy beer garden and clean toilets. *edit* the only quality ale pub in Teignmouth.

Good place for a beer outside. They don't do food but don't mind bringing your own. Soft drinks rather lacking.

A great pub. Always busy with locals and offers a totally relaxed atmosphere. Superb bar staff, easy to communicate with and each with a natural charm. Can see live bands in the rear garden area plus under cover garden area. A lovely local pub, nothing fake, just a friendly and welcoming pub.

Great place with a reall good selection of ales/cider's. Wish it was closer as this would be a place I'd like to be my local .

Brilliant pub. Went over two separate occasions on a mini-break, every pint of ale was in superb condition. Pub seemed friendly (staff definitely were) and plenty of groups of happy locals sitting around. Decent sized outside area as well.

Fabulous outside seating area that takes wheelchairs. Lovely manager, it was an absolute pleasure to sit and talk to friends. Will definitely visit again. Try it out, you will not be disappointed.

Best Guiness in Teignmouth...By far...Any Guiness drinkers out there no where compares..Always a warm welcome especially on cold Winter days..If you are not a sports fan go when the live music is on. Most of the time it's a lovely quiet pub for a few quality drinks..especially Guiness!The beer garden is beautiful and dog friendly, cosy pub..Great for real ales too..

Whilst the the pub itself is very pleasant and the range of beers exceptional they are not very friendly to outsiders. I've been going there on and off now for nearly a year and despite addressing two of staff by there first name they never ask for mine.

Great selection of spirits and beers, change their selection regularly but often have a New Bristol Brewery beer on making this the best pub in town. Lovely beer garden hosting the odd live band and sometimes a little beer festival.

We has 2 glasses of Pyms 1st one was great,had loads of fruit in it How ever the second one was more expensive for the same drink Was much weaker and less fruit ,too.

I've been to this pub many times, the beer is always excellent and it's always friendly and welcoming. They have a superb beer patio at the side.
