The Billy Wright in Wolverhampton

Great place to go and meet my mom always a great time with Billy Wright family. Tracy the manager and her team are great. Dj Andeh always puts on a great afternoon of bingo and karaoke. Recently we lost our beautiful Mom and Tracy arranged a balloon realese in memory of her.( Thank you so much 💓) The place won't be the same without you mom ❤️

Lovely pints of Guinness and Theakstons mild, accompanied by vibrant dj playing some classic tunes.

First visit as I was visiting Wolverhampton was impressed good friendly service the price of beer was excellent for £3 and great pint of carling & lovely big pub with plenty of room while watching sport on TV.

It's a party pub. It's old school.. obviously has its issues as there are cameras in the loos but it's exactly what it says on the tin. Cheap booze, party hits at 7pm on Monday + karaoke. They'll even show Emmerdale too. Something for everyone.

Clean pub, good service and not as expensive as other bars nearby. Can get busy, but it shows it is a well liked place.

It's a pub with a party in the middle of the day. We've visited a couple of times recently more out of curiosity after being warned off than anything else. Bingo and Karaoke seems popular, the music blaring regardless of the time of day. Interesting mix of customers, some a lil rough around the edges BUT friendly for the most part. The bar staff do favour regulars but not too the point I've been left feeling disgruntled at having to wait. Crusty cobs behind the bar with old school sweaty cheese was delicious and a real touch of nostalgia. The prices are more than reasonable and they serve our favourite Inch's cider (I should really give 5* for that alone) The tables are kept clean, glass collector does a good job of keeping the place tidy. Nice lil gated outdoor smoking area that's perfectly situated to catch the sun when it's out.

I live in Ellesmere Port, and my Hubby , myself and our 2 best friends love coming to the Billy Wright when we go to the races . Atmosphere is great, music is great, and the drinks are really cheap . The regular people who go in there are very sociable . They dont do meals but they do cheese & onion or beef burnt crusty cobs that are fabulous . I would recommend the Billy Wright to everybody . from Ann & Billy Pearson 👍👍👍🙂🙂

I go in The Billy Wright a fair bit mainly during the daytime as it's one of my local bars in Wolverhampton, they do a lovely fresh pint of Fosters, cobs and bar snacks available, never wait too long for a pint, Tracey and the team do a great job, friendly crowd, very reasonable prices, would recommend.

A mixture of alcholics & crack heads inside this place. Bar staff terrible rude.

Not a pleasant experience when we decided to give this pub a try instead of our usual watering hole. Service was good and the beer was cheap, but some of the behaviour from the regulars was a little raucous. It was 4pm on a Sunday, and loud music was blasting around the bar. Atmosphere felt a little intimidating, so we left rather sharpish. Not the place to go for a quiet pint with friends. But if you want a disco in the middle of the day, then knock yourself out.

if your not a regular during the week don't expect to be served even if your the first at the bar because its a regulars come first. so be prepared to wait.. and the resident dj ANDEH. is so much of an attention seeker its all about himself. can't understand him because he has so much effects on his Mic and everytime he gets someone up to sing on karaoke he has to repeat first letter of there name. ie t t t t Tracy b b b b bumblebee t t t t tiny Tim.. then he goes onto his shaggy tribute with wig and glasses.. it was so embarrassing after the first drink the eight of left because we weren't willing to wait another 20 minutes to be served when there was 3 people at the bar

The Manageress was extremely rude to the point 6 of us walked out . She was shouting across the room and asking if there were any stolen goods she could have . The toilets were dirty and disgusting empty bags of coke every where . I will never go again especially with guests from abroad. So embarrassing.

Fabulous atmosphere, great down to earth clientele, mixed entertainment, super bar staff, lovely fresh cobs, and great prices. I've been half a dozen times this month and I have to get the train to Wolverhampton, so that shows how much I rate this pub.

Not the best when you call before you arrive to see if it’s ok to get in after a shift at work to turn up to the doors closed and attitude of the Doorman shame on you £16 later in taxis thanks

It is what it is cheap drinks can get busy so sometimes there is a little wait at the bar.. only complaint is the toilets are small and can get busy too.

Not the greatest pub in wolves but OK after a match and pretty cheap

Good night out and defently my type of music which is a mix of RnB, hip hop and reggae and possibly more. Drinks reasonly priced but I was a little disappointed that Stella was not avalble. Overall I had a good night with the missus.

Travelled on a bus and two trains to get there. The welcome was amazing and the service and choice was exemplary. I would visit again any day.

Well I couldn't believe how friendly everyone was and the owner was amazing the staff were all exstreamly happy and perlite especially Andy the barman I would definitely recommend to all my family I will be dropping in again soon

We often go in here for a drink when were in town we find it warm friendly and clean and it's a lovely drink of beer in there too with a outside area with seating for smokers

Very nice pub. Friday night and Saturday nights the music is great. I like reggae and dancehall. They deliver that type of music.. Not to mention the service is warm.

Lovely, friendly old style boozer, with great local characters.

Not a bad pub mostly home fans but all very friendly as I was Arsenal but no colours on show . Would use it again very handy for train station and the ground might need more bar staff if gets really busy it was ok .

Very poor. Terrible atmosphere and hostile customers. Was threatened by another patreon who had too much to drink and was kicked out because he was a regular. Would not go there again and really wouldn't recommend.
