Great little pub, good for socialising and watching sports! If you’re near the area definitely worth going in, great staff and overall atmosphere 👍

Went over for the Wednesday night special deal. Tonight it was pasta and dessert. The lasagne, the garlic bread and salad were all excellent. Lasagne & garlic butter homemade. Sticky toffee pudding and custard were also homemade and equally outstanding. The landlord & staff were friendly, helpful & experienced with 5 star customer service skills. The natives were friendly too. We’ll definitely be going back!

We live locally and I went into the Bell to get some Order Out food. Whist I was waiting I had an excellent pint of Adnams and spoke to some of the regulars. I also spoke with the barman and landlord and both are very friendly and welcoming. The food we ordered was very good, especially the Pizza. I am more than happy to recommend the pub.

Great village pub with great atmosphere. Offers football viewing when games are on. Small rooms divided into bar and dining room. Fish and Chips on offer on a Friday evening to eat on or take away which is great value for money. Great selection of beers from the bar. Garden looks out on the bowling green and is need of some tidying up. Not open all hours as it is a village pub so be aware

Made a return visit the the Bell this Sunday. We met with various family members, old and young and enjoyed a very good carvery. The Landlord was on his usual jovial form and entertained us throughout the visit. The Pork and Beef was cooked perfectly with some awesome crackling (though not enough!) and there was virtually an unlimited supply of roast potatoes and Parsnips, carrots, peas, cabbage, cauliflower cheese, the list goes on......really nice dinner and at £8.50 a head, great value too!Puddings are all home made and looked amazing.Place was busy as ever, and judging by the food and the very warm welcome, its easy to see why.

Went to the village pub for a valentines night special. I was very impressed with how good the food was and the good service. I'm my opinion it was perfect. We was not rushed the food came at the perfect time and was very good. The pub looks great now it's been renovated and the beer was good to. Very happy customers will definitely be going again.

Popped in here for a quick drink whilst visiting family close by. Unfortunately the bar had closed for the afternoon but the landlord very quickly offered us drinks and we would have loved to have stayed but felt a little guilty he wasn't getting his break. It was a very short trip from Ireland but next time, time will be spent at The Bell. Lovely friendly people. Would have loved to be here on Friday for fish & chip night.

Our first visit to this pub, hoping to eat but it was fully-booked for Sunday lunch. The pub was packed and it's clear the food here is very good and really popular. Decent pint of ale as well.

Just had a lovely few hours here with the family. Came up to complete one of my 50 challenges I have to do before I'm 50 in August.Had a few games of bowls on the green at the back of the pub.Bonus was an awesome Carvery for dinner. The beef was perfect as were the roasties! The landlord is a really nice guy who made us all feel very welcome. Great selection of local ales.Pub was really busy which is good to see these days so they must be doing something right! Thanks for a great afternoon.

The first Luncheon Club meal was great, a carvery that offered excellent value on its introductory price

Visited today for a birthday treat, had the carvery but I wanted the vegetarian option. The Bell Inn came up trumps, really nice vegetarian meal, the vegetables on the carvery were freshly cooked and delicious. The roast potatoes were the best I have ever eaten in a carvery, hot, crispy outside and fluffy inside. The Yorkshire puddings were home made and there was asparagus available too, definitely going back!My companions had the Roast Meat which they said was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient and not impersonal at all. Going back on Friday to try the Fish & Chip special.

The Bell Inn is a very family friendly small country pub. It is't a modern evironment but is very homely and welcoming. They have recently started to serve a carvery on a Sunday, this week I was lucky enough to get a table with my family. We had the choice of Beef, Pork or Turkey all supplied from the local butches and this was accompanied by a wide choice of fresh vegetables again grown locally. The highlight was the coliflower cheese and roast potatoes. If you still had room after eating your main course then there was a choice of homemade deserts on the menu to follow. The staff were very attentive and could not do enough for you.Sunday lunch is £8.25 desert is extra children are charged at a cheaper rate.I cannot recommend their sunday lunch enough. All I will say is don't expect the Ritz this is a small country pub, it's our local. It's not flash it's like home!

We eat here at least 2 times a month, the food is affordable and plentiful. We always have the Chinese option and it’s always fresh and tasty. I would go as far to say one of the best cafes around!
