I had read the previous opinions of former guests at the Bell and I'm was rather surprised, so yesterday I went for a Sunday roast with some friends and yes it was busy and at times noisy, but the garden was amazing, we watched the racing on the Televisions and stayed for a couple of hours. In all honesty I would have to call it a town pub and its exactly what I expected it to be, maybe its just not every ones cup of tea, but I have to say I was impressed, both of the landlord team were present and two lovely barmaids were fast and efficient, my only complaint was it was a bit warm in the pub, but hey they were severing roast lunches

We recently visited The Bell with a group of close friends, we found the hosts most accommodating and the atmosphere was great, all round good experience, we would definitely visit again.

What an amazing pub! Food was delicious and the staff so helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a visit ! We be going back very soon.

What a well managed and very accommodating bar. Everyone was made to feel very welcome with a fantastic friendly atmosphere. This is credit to the current management on how well the bar is run with everything catered for with even a covered outside bbq. Can’t wait to return in the spring and summer.

Excellent Xmas Day Dinner , extremely well organised, massive choice of food and it all tasted delicious and was reasonably priced Staff were efficient and friendly, will definitely return One to note for next year Xmas Day dinner peeps Also a great place to have a beer any day of the week Thank you for making our Xmas so enjoyable 🙏

Fantastic atmosphere Glen has always made us welcome and is one of the best bar far one of the best hosts from an ex assistant landlord top draw

West Ham fan came for the Bournemouth game. Friendly pub, nice outdoor area, good selection of beers and bbq outside.

Great location for a match day. Good British style pub near Vitality stadium. A short walk from Southbourne. Nice garden out the back where they sell decent burgers. Was a bit raucous when taken over with Chelsea hardcore fans up for a good time, still it’s a bar and no less than I expected. Everyone was friendly and in good spirits especially after the 1-3 result. Good service. Ideal venue.

The landlord was very accommodating. The staff are friendly. The food was excellent and they will I need to place to go out a way to help.

Lovely pub with great live music to offer. Wide range of ales and beers too. Food was amazing highly recommended this place. Staff and the landlord are very friendly. Located oppisite the train station at pokesdown so very useful if your visiting this area.

Really nice place to come and have a few drinks with a community atmosphere ! Landlords do so much for there customers including local charity fundraisers and festival weekends! I would recommend if in The Bournemouth area to pop in for a couple!

Handy pub if you get off the train parched and want a drink. Walk straight out of the Pokes down Railway station and it is just over the road. Clean bar. Friendly staff. TV for sports. Outside area and plenty of parking.

Siempre fue un gran pub pero ahora necesita mantener como registro del personal. Es necesario recordar que el cliente es lo primero y saben cómo priorizar las peticiones de los clientes. 7 bebedores que siempre van a este pub ignorado por un hombre que quería ver segundo juego de pelota de fútbol de tarifa y luego ni siquiera se molestó en ver que de todos modos.siempre lo mejor para atender a clientes habituales y chica que servía no tenían ni idea o incluso molestado.
