Great pub, was greeted with friendly staff and a great atmosphere , really nice inside decoration. My card was even declined so one of the regulars stepped in to help me out , fantastic would definitely recommend!

We stayed on Custom House and took a stroll along to this pub late evening, As soon as we walked through the door and locals in here gave us a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

This is a very friendly public house with some of the funniest locals you will meet. The one draw back is that it does not offer any form of beer on tap for example bellhaven best or at least Caledonian Best other than this one thing it is a very nice place to visit. However I have also been in on a match day when rangers are playing and the atmosphere is more disturbing.

A lovely little pub that is deceiving from the outside. The staff and clientel are all very friendly and make you welcome. The spirits are 35ml most of the pubs are 25ml! It has as lovely beer garden at the back. Beautiful in the summer with all the plants and hanging baskets. Along the road you have tge harbour where boats are moored and a little beach. Well worth a visit!

This is a place that I stumbled across on a canal walk travelling west out of Glasgow. In a nice and interesting area where the canal and River Clyde meet each other. A modern marina and an old harbour with wrecked ships provide plenty to see locally. The pub is quite big, very welcoming and has a good selection of beers and other drinks. Very nice staff. There is a big beer garden at the rear of the property. It is OK but would be much improved if they actually put plants into the 20+ hanging baskets and flower pots that they have lying around. I hope to go back soon.

My son who has mental health issues and his son who by the way is autistic , came to mcnabbs to get out of the snow today. They were soaked through and were there to wait to be picked up,as they had been waiting two hours on a bus in the freezing cold. Having bought drinks in the bar , they were asked to leave because there was a funeral on. It wasn’t appropriate for them to be there said the staff . Was it appropriate when they bought drinks from you? How heartless do you have to be to throw a child a dog and two adults back out into the snow . You are disgusting shameless profiteers. Couldn’t you have offered somewhere else for them to sit ? Customer service ? What customer service? Shame on you .And just for an added bonus my grandson was so stressed he had a nosebleed. My son had already contacted me to ask me to come to pick them up and told me he had bought a drink and hot drinks for his family, no mention of you can’t come in or we can’t sell you a drink as this is a private function, so although the owner states I wasn’t there , neither was the owner as a staff member came over and spoke to my son, who says that he explained the situation and told the staff member my grandsons feet were soaking and he was freezing but was still asked to leave. I don’t have any bias, except for the treatment of my family. If you have no problem with your actions, why haven’t you mentioned the fact that you did tell them to leave after selling them a drink and allowing them in?

A very poor experience in terms of food quality and service. It certainly didn't live up to it's claim of "equisite dining"...where we would.."Indulge in a culinary journey".(unless the destination was mediocrity). We were there as a group of about 14 in a private room for the xmas menu and we had eaten here the previous year also, when the food was OK, but not great. This year it was much poorer. The scallops were absolutely tiny! The cod was NOT cod, not sure what it was but as someone who has worked in the UK fish industry for many years, it was most definitely not cod. The same happened last year when it was a bass or bream fillet (also called "cod" on the menu) but was quite tasty so I didn't mind so much then. This time it was a fish with quite soft and tasteless flesh. We had to chase some drinks orders several times as they didn't appear, sometimes eventually turning up after about 20 minutes. The sticky toffee pudding was on freezing cold plates, which made the sauce cold and sponge barely warm...just about room temperature. One sticky toffee pudding that was ordered with vegan ice cream didn't appear until we had chased it a couple if times and everyone else had finished. We won't be back next year. Perhaps we should have complained more at the time, but it's supposed to be a fun time, not one when as well as chasing food and drinks, we have to moan about everything and kill the atmosphere.

While wandering through Aberfoyle came across this little butchers. Glad we did, the Roll and sausage/ black pudding doubler was amazing, great value for £5 my son had the Steak roll also delicious. No hesitation in recommending this establishment. A wee day out, you have to pop in.

We popped in here for lunch while passing for the first time and were glad we did. The service was good, very quick and efficient, staff were very friendly. There is a good selection on the menu and even a dog menu, which our dogs loved! The soup was delicious and toasties were tasty but a little burnt around the sides so we couldn't even bite into some of them. They have no disabled parking which is disappointing. We will definitely pop in again if passing!
