Staff were very friendly but drink service was very slow even though we were the only people there. Opening hours very restricted. With the lodges and guests they could offer so much more.

Lovely creamy cappuccino and an ice cream for dogs!!! What more could you ask for! Dogs welcome indoors and staff so lovely and helpful. Only two minutes walk from the “ busy” part of Balmaha so worth the stroll .There’s also parking on site if you’re driving !

Limited menu. Caesar salad was literally a bowl of lettuce, sprinkle of chicken and squirt of sauce, no parmesan. Vanilla ice coffee was a glass of milk with squirt of vanilla. No atmosphere, needed music. Bill came to over £25 for 2 basic lunch dishes and 2 non alcoholic drinks

Fabby restaurant - opened in a fabby location! This gem just adds to Balmaha's list of reasons to visit. It's very easy on the eye decor-wise inside and plenty spacious. There are also al-fresco tables next to a lovely wee pond with large goldfish/carp. The place has plenty of parking for restaurant customers too. As to the food it's REALLY good. We had French Toast, beautiful presented with delicious fresh fruit, soaked in quality maple syrup with a side of whipped cream. I've previously had hot filled rolls which were terrific. There's also a good range of fresh, tasty cakes, scones and assorted sweet things. The coffee is good too. The welcome sign suggests you can have an accompanying blether with your food. And you can too. The young staff are very welcoming, competent and can't do enough for you. We'll be back. Soon...and lots!

A pretty nice Café - cosy atmosphere - awfully nice staff - great home made food with a sense for sustainability. Before we even had ordered anything we were brought a bottle of chilled water. The cake bar looks very promising, but i was more in the mood for a tasty bun. I could write a lot about this Café but it would finally sum up to: If you ever come to Loch Lomond - you should really get in here for a cuppa or a snack.

Really pleasant here. I had a spinach pancake that was delicious. It is expensive like almost all of Scotland. Therefore the price is average. The service was very nice, the toilets were clean, the offerings were good.

Wonderful place. Really pretty and spaceous. The coffee is excellent, so is the food. We really enjoyed it here.

Very nice restaurant in a remote area. The pulled pork tasted quite good. Only 4 stars due to it was cold and not heated up. Free Wi-Fi. Fantastic spot if you’re hiking and in need of a break!

Just popped in for a quick coffee with friends. Layout very nice with different seating arrangements. Staff very nice and attentive. Not in the area very often but would like to be and a visit here will be a definite.

This was really lovely. The atmosphere and staff were really nice. Shout out to the guy who said it was his first time making an ice vanilla latte, it was one of the best made I’ve had! The girl serving on till was also lovely too. Curried carrot soup was 10/10. Would recommend.

Girlfriend booked a Sunday breakfast here as a treat. After driving 40 mins found the gate locked. Spoke to someone via intercome only to be told that had to close today due to staff shortages?! Absolutely shocking way to run any business. More notice should have been given not a one sentence email, Sent 4 mins before we arrived at the gate! Which obviously couldn't be read as we were driving!! Shocking. Went down to the Oak Tree Inn for a spectacular cooked breakfast instead.

Very pleasant restaurant. Went for afternoon tea with a friend and a much.loved dog. Sandwiches and cakes set out beautifully and a Raspberry Gin to start. Only down side is that I have a yeast allergy so can only have wraps or soda bread which were not available. Cakes were delicious though. Would try to phone in advance next time to ask them to have some wraps but will definitely go again.

We had the soup of the day as well as the avocado and egg on the toast with a couple extras. Food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly!

What an absolute gem! Compliments to the chef on the wonderful cream of celeriac soup with crusty bread - simply divine!! Service was extremely friendly. Definitely recommmend this place 👍👍👍👍👍

The poached eggs on toast with avocado arrived after a long wait. Everything was cold,and the avocado was a paste. Staff were friendly . Won,t be going back .Norrie

Beautiful place to relax and have a meal. Great food and I loved the foraged mushrooms available. A chance visit brought me here and I'm sure I will come back next time I am in Balmaha.

What a delightful place for afternoon tea with the weather so dricht. Lovely hot chocolate and carrot cake.

Lovely setting and really tasty brunch!!

Enjoyed finding this cafe with a number of lunch avd dessert options. Tried the sausage roll with side of salad plus butternut squash soup made with coconut milk. It was so tasty, picked up some desserts to take home.

Little pricey and limited menu but but staff were friendly and our food was good and nicely served.

Wonderful location. The staff were very friendly and even though it was busy the waitress made conversation. Not quite a full breakfast menu but the scrambled eggs made up for the lack of beans ten fold.

Food was nice, took over an hour to come mind you when there were only 3 tables there when we arrived. The service wasnt the greatest though. Pretty slow and a few mishaps. We werent given enough cutlery, the staff didn't seem to be communicating with each other at all as one server took our order and another seemed to think we had already eaten. They then couldn't remember what check was ours when I went to the desk to pay the bill.

Delightful and light, this cafe offered us a great breakfast and an amazing lemon cake to compliment it.

Very relaxing atmosphere with great decor. The lemon cake was amazing, the recipe "handed down the generations since 1957"! Our sourdough toasts were accompanied by wild wood sorrel collected from the nearby waterfront beach.

So, so tasty. Stopped in for breakfast. One of the best meals we've had in Scotland in two weeks.
