Absolutely amazing ! Came for my mums birthday & we had the bottomless brunch , it was £40 and it’s well worth the money! The food was amazing and filled us all up there was some left spare and it great well value for money ! They came over straight as soon as we finished the drinks to ask for our next order on drinks . The drinks were also really nice . The staff was friendly and service was great! Would definitely recommend ! 10/10 ! Will come again !

The food was amazing 10/10 so well done to the chefs, but I did speak to the duty manager as the service we received was shocking, we waited a long time for just a normal Sunday lunch and saw others served who ordered after us, there was only 4 of us, I had to walk downstairs to ask if we could order desserts after our plates were left for over 15 minutes even thought plenty of staff walked past them with empty hands. The toilets were disgusting, filthy!!! No soap, no paper towels and full of dust, I even pointed out to the duty manager when I complained and said to just look at the bar area that hadn't being cleaned for looked like weeks, it was full of grime not just spilt drinks. He said " I know what you mean" sorry as I hate writing bad reviews but the General Manager needs to open his eyes and do something as I would love to go back for the food but I am sure this would be shut down if inspected. Visited for a family meal and it was delicious, we had meals from the new menu and the crisp cauliflower starter was lovely [were not veggies, so no bias]. Mains we had the garlic roast chicken which again was lovely finished with a sticky toffee pudding. Great service and value!

The only place I’ll eat a roast dinner out! It’s delicious and so flavoursome. Small plates are amazing too if you just want a little meal 😍 Dog friendly too, our lab enjoyed a portion of pigs in blankets haha.

Nice decor , we were sat in room off the main area. Which was perfect , we could still hear the music and talk. The staff didn’t forget about us because we were out of sight. waiting staff, cleared plates and asked for drinks orders regularly, so we were not having to flag staff down . Everything we ordered was very tasty , specially the miso Cod. Can’t wait to come back and try your Sunday dinner.

This is one of the best roasts in England. They get the finest ingredients and prepare and cook them with excellence, and then serve them in the most beautiful surroundings, whilst creating a warm family atmosphere. Highly recommend if you haven’t been here before. This is our second visit and it’s just as amazing as the first.

First time visit and it won’t be the last. A unique restaurant with its decor. Great being able to see the chefs working their culinary magic. The food was very tasty and is amongst the best Sunday lunches we’ve had anywhere. The small plate menus sounded lovely and we will return to taste these. The prices were maybe a couple of quid more than most places but the food was also better than those places. You get what you pay for and we didn’t mind paying the extra. Love this place. I’ve only been on Sundays but the Sunday dinners are excellent. My favourite by far. Cocktails are brilliant too. Really great place!

Excellent roast dinner, every element was on point. Greens were crunchy and sweet, roast potatoes were crisp, mash was creamy, roasted carrots and parsnips were soft and well seasoned. Yorkshire pudding was the right level of crispy. Neither of us like stuffing and while we wouldn't describe it as the highlight we both ate it when usually we would leave it so even that was above average. Dessert was just as good, the rhubarb crumble ice cream served with the chocolate and cherry cheesecake was amazing.

Super food, party of 6, Sunday evening, 4 had vegetarian roast, 2 had pork, faultless. And desserts good value nice size. Would definitely recommend.

We have eaten here many times before, Sunday Lunch (ammmmzzzzing) and the evening menu but, we have never tried the Bottomless brunch. what can I say other than wow, great food menu that says choose to small plates I can promise there far from small. if you haven't eaten here before its a must try. thank you to all the staff who are always friendly and welcoming

The Sunday lunch was utterly delicious. As I'm vegetarian I didn't have any meat. The roast potatoes were particularly brilliant 10/10. It's always a treat to get stuffing as well. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, not too hard or too soft. Goldilocks would have been delighted.

Went for Sunday lunch. The starters were delicious though pricey for the amount. I found my main, beef roast dinner inedible. Over seasoned, chewy. I sent it back. The staff dealt with this very professionally. Basically I paid 60 pound for a few prawns and a few glasses of wine. Very disappointed

We were really looking forward to going to this place as friends had raved about it. I don't know if they were having an off night but it wasn't great!! We were stuck in a back room for 20 minutes and nobody came to take our drinks order or even give us a menu, my husband had to go looking for someone. We were constantly clapping fruit flies. The starters were nice, the main really wasn't. My meal was inedible and my husbands meal was OK but overpriced for what it was. Because we were on our own in the tiny room and just forgotten about most of the night, there was no atmosphere. Bitterly disappointing 😞 Our first night out together since having our baby and I can honestly say we won't be returning unfortunately

We went to the Bank in Delph to celebrate my Son & his girlfriend getting new jobs, I was treating them both for doing well in their interviews one ambulance man & Katie higher position in pharmaceutical. Found this place by accident but will certainly come back. Had the roast chicken dinner which was amazing. The plate was overflowing with tasty chicken, veg, different potatoes and a huge Yorkshire pudding! The waiters were lovely too.

We had the Sunday roast and it was yummy! Only thing I’d have to say is that the veggies were way too overly seasoned/salty so it was hard to eat… besides that, I enjoyed the meal.

Went for Sunday lunch,Disappointed Veg & Potatoes ok but the Beef was way to rare,couldn't cut it & was chewy.They did replace meal when I complained but everyone else had finished eating by the time it arrived.Service was slow ,drinks order didn't arrive had to reorder 20minutes later.Also we all left smelling of cooking oil from being sat so close to cooking area an lack of ventilation. Will not be rushing back

We had tried several times before that l would say would be my only criticism its hard too get anyone too answer the phone. But the food was absolutely superb really good we all agreed best lunch we'd had in a long time. And the young staff were brilliant and got the order spot on. Visited on Mother’s Day with a reservation for 2.15. The food arrived at 3.45! It was busy but did not expect to wait this long. The food was delicious when it did arrive and there was plenty of it. However, the visit was particularly marred by the surly waitress who asked if we would like a dessert. On enquiring how long we would need to wait for it she said she would ask the chef. Rather than coming back to us with the information she proceeded to just throw a menu at us on the table without a word and when I attempted to attract her attention completely ignored me. So rude. Definitely not service with a smile here! I won’t be back.

We had the Mothers Day meal which was obviously very popular as the restaurant was full. We have been before and really enjoyed the food, but I've never had the roast diner before. It was absolutely delicious! I've heard good things about it but Wow its amazing. We will be back for more

Food and service were both really good. We were a large group, but given that it was a sunday and they have a reduced menu it. It still took an hour from ordering to eating.

The beef sunday dinner was to die for, every mouthful was absolutely delicious, empty plates from the three of us! The only thing that stopped me giving max stars was we found it very cold in there, I hope this is something that can be recified, as we really would like to visit again.

Had an amazing Sunday dinner here at the Bank. I’m vegetarian and there was choice even for a fussy eater like me. The sweet potato starter with peanut satay sauce was 10/10, Sunday dinner was quite possibly the best ever. Drink selection was also fab, I had a hazelnut espresso martini but fancied trying many more. Will defo be returning. Thank you!

My daughter, son in law and 3 year old grandson took me here tonight for my birthday meal. My son in law is vegan and for the first time in ages managed to have a starter and a main course which didn't involved a burger! My sea bream was delicious. They kindly cooked my grandson's main course whilst the adults were on starters. The waiter was excellent and the food was well cooked and very tasty. My grandson would like to know where all the money has gone as he and Daddy went to the toilet in the safe and he couldn't see any cash!

Me and my partner both had the roast beef and agreed it was the best roast dinner we have ever had. We then shared a chocolate cheesecake which was also delicious. The service was excellent and the pornstar martinis were amazing!

Bit cramped no parking booed table seemed like they just looked around to see one for four. Then left with menu's the girls came and server other tables never asked if we want drinks or even to take our order so after 35mins yes 35mins I went to bar and asked if they could recommend somewhere we could get a drink . This helped as the girl came to table 10 mins later to take food order. Then when food came after being in there for over 1hr she said oh do you want a drink . What more can I say .

Ive had Sunday roasts all around the UK and across various parts of the world and I can honestly say this is probably one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of demolishing! Everything was cooked to perfection, the meat was juicy and well seasoned, the roasties were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and again the seasoning was perfect. The carrots, parsnips, green beans, broccolini were all amazing too. The other champions of this dish were the creamy mash, perfect yorkshire pudding, stuffing and of course the gravy! I would honestly consider flying all the way back from Australia where I live on a weekly basis just for this dinner! Not only that the staff were all lovely and chef James very clearly cares about the food he is plating up and its easy to see why this place is voted into the top 10 roasts in the country. Oh and lastly theres a vegetarian option that has the same love and skill poured into it as the meat based dishes. The nut roast was delicious. Well done guys keep it up!

We were in Delph in the evening and were looking for somewhere to eat. There are a handful of pubs in the main Street, but this is a small village so there isn't too much of anything else. Although there was no menu posted outside, we asked staff if we could see one, and they obliged. We liked what we saw, so we asked for a table. Although the menu isn't particularly extensive, this works in The Bank's favour. To often, placed order a huge menu, all of which turns out to be very average. This was the exact opposite. Everything sounded really appealing, and we decided to go for a selection of small plates. Think starters, but larger portions without being main meals. Everything we had was fantastic and full of flavour. It all had a really great, fresh, feeling and was full of flavour. The chef had really worked hard to make sure they got every drop of flavour out of every single dish. Prices are very reasonable, for a bar of this kind in a nice village, and we had absolutely no regrets at staying instead of walking on. Staff were really friendly and very efficient, and it was a very nice, informal experience. Next time we're in Delph, it will be our first stop for something to eat and drink. I highly recommend The Bank for great food and great service, or even just to call in for a drink in nice surroundings.

Great place to eat. Garlic chilli prawns to start then Sunday roast beef with all the trimmings. Beef perfectly cooked and full of flavour. All veggies crisp and tasty. Great selection of gins if that's your tipple , draught Peroni was my choice. No room for a dessert but good options available. Maybe next time I'll miss the starter to leave room for dessert, or maybe I'll refrain from eating earlier in the day! Staff very attentive without being intrusive . Waitress was so polite and quick. Very busy which was easy to see why when the food was so good too. We'll definitely be back and recommend to friends! EDIT: Had to take it down from 5 to 4 stars due to the smell of oil that's clinged to our clothes and hair. After getting home we had a whiff of the smell and when it didn't go away we checked the clothes and after reading other reviews it seems that it's a common problem there with a lack of ventilation. I'll still recommend it but next time I'll wear my tracksuit and not my dry clean only clothes....

Food and drink is great here. However I gave it 4 stars because of the smell of a fryer that sticks to your clothes and hair. If you are planning to go which I would recommend due to the quality of the food don't wear your favourite clothes as you will need to wash them when you get back. Other reviews have also mentioned this due to the lack of ventilation.
