Had an overnight stay. Staff were lovely and attentive. When we entered our room there was a terrible smell! We thought maybe the cleaner had used the loo! We opened the window and went out. We returned late and room seemed OK but we had to keep the window open as the smell returned it seemed to be the toilet, possibly drains or something but pretty pungent. No other complaints about the room, comfy bed etc. We did tell the reception about the smell on check out and they wavered the parking charge. Lucky we could keep the window open overnight.

Everything about this hotel pretty spot on except the food prices in the restaurant think it’s a bit ridiculous that a “pub grub” 3 courser can cost you £50 the food was really good but it was just a bit pricey. Showers amazing. Beds comfy. Good WiFi. Rooms are quiet.

For an accessibly room, it was small to move around in if your a wheelchair user, the wet room , shower good size but the sink to toilet was a tight fit. Room it's self was lovely although bed was to high for myself 4'8 and I needed help to get into it. Staff were welcoming when we arrived.

Room would benefit from a fridge especially as its listed as 4 star, my wife is dairy free but catering is rather miss something off the dish rather than provide a direct alternative, staff were very helpful.

We stayed in the special occasion king room on the 21st to 23rd December 2024. The room itself was big plenty of drawer & wardrobe space. Tea & coffee supplied. The only disappointment about the room was there was one radiator over at the window with 2 chairs infront of it (in which we moved) & with the room being big it was just not enough to heat the whole room. The bathroom itself was big with a good shower, under floor heating which was good. We went to the Christmas party which was well worth the money. You got a glass of bubbly on arrival the got glass of wine with your meal, it was a three course meal. Overall we had a good stay service in all areas of the hotel was good. It was our anniversary & we had a lovely surprise of a bottle of bubbly & a lovely card waiting for us in our room from the hotel. Thank you again for that.

Only had drinks so can't really give a full review but, the price of drinks was extortionate, the music playing was covers and bad covers, no atmosphere, defo will not be returning. As the saying goes, first impressions last...

Back in the 1960s this was a Grand hotel where you were expected to dress for dinner. Gradually it turned into a complete slum, before a great deal of money has been spent on restoring it to a very fine hotel. The service and food quality was excellent on our stay s few months back and I would certainly consider staying here again if in the area. They could improve their booking process.

Old fashioned style hotel. Hard to sleep at night due to the noise that came from the coach house. It settled down at 1am. Murder mystery was fun, kind of like an adult pantomime with dinner. Staff friendly and welcoming.

BEST BAKERY IN SCOTLAND. Hands down they’ve won my heart. Went here for lunch on a nice wee day out on Pitlochry. Accidents stumbled across the place because it’s kind of located at the back of the mainstreet and quite hidden and understated. Great choice of items. It has a sandwich bar (we had Brie and mungo chutney focaccia sandwiches) I will never forget that meal. Think about it constantly to this day. Also had bakery items like bread, pizzas stuff like that on the shelf to buy. (It was made earlier in the day all behind the counter). The place has a few sit down tables but it’s mainly takeaway. Coffees were unreal too. Love this little place. Thankyou to the team for all the effort!

This is the very thing that has happened to Pitlochry (amongst ALL the others of course). Family run, baked right in store, everything super fresh and excelent taste. Lovely chatty staff (even while they are hard at work) We popped in for the 1st time after a super lunch at The Mill next door. Took home bread, cakes, scones to eat and freeze for later. Such a pity it's so far from us but when we go up for the day (which is often) we certainly won't be giving this bakery a miss (or lunch at The Mill of course)

Staying here to do a "murder mystery" First impressions were not good at all, no parking on site. Advised to try another council run car park. This was also full. The only alternative was on street parking, which was a maximum of 30 mins wait, no return before 30 mins. Not really convenient when it's only 17:00 and you are staying overnight. I realise the town is busy as the enchanted forest event was also running, but some form of pre warning would have been beneficial. Checked in, and the room was a good size, really clean, and the shower was excellent. More than enough consumables. Attended the "murder mystery" which was fantastic, really good actors, and the food was superb. Super comfy beds. Early start, as I had to go and move my car to a car park to avoid a ticket, then had breakfast. The choice, quantity and quality of the buffet breakfast was really good. Altogether a very enjoyable experience, apart from the car parking issues.

Stayed here on the 31st of October 24. I was very disappointed with the hotel in general. Reception was good. Then went to our room. Small comes to mind . The bathroom has no shelves to place toiletries and shower average. The upstairs is totally tired. We were on the 3rd floor. The total cost for one night at this establishment was 166, which included 5 pounds for car park. The breakfast can only be described as average. It was a buffet, and I found it tepid. We have stayed in a lot of hotels throughout the world and I add some cheaper than Fishers and some more expensive. We were surprised as we were expecting a different experience.

We stumbled across this bakery as the place we had intended to go to wasn't yet open. Wow! Unbelievably good bread rolls with good vegetarian options. The quality is top notch and clearly the baker knows what he is doing. There were a huge range of products available. We sat in for a quick breakfast and left feeling very, very happy. תוֹדָה!

We spent a few days in Pitlochry in July this year. We didn't stay in the hotel, but we had lunch every day in the hotel bar, thanks to the fact that the portions were enough even for my family with a good appetite. The food is delicious, the service is kind and fast. I even got used to the soup (I don't like pureed food), they were so delicious. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Stayed here just for 1 night but we were very impressed. Check-in was easy and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, they even gave us a Whisky or Sherry as a welcome drink, what a great way to welcome their guests. (A simple thing to do but it makes such a change from some hotels that the staff are too busy to even answer questions) All the bar and restaurant staff were also very friendly and helpful. We had a three course meal during our stay and all the food was presented with great thought and very tasty. Our breakfast was also very tasty with plenty of options to suit all tastes. We were there to attend the Murder Mystery night. We have been to quite a few Murder Mysteries and whilst the hotel had arranged the event very well, the actual actors didn't keep the attention of quite a few of the guests. It was too drawn out and a lot of guests were getting bored. The murder didn't happen until quite a long way into the evening and most of the main clues were only given out right at the end. Luckily we have been to lots of these events so we knew it isn't ususlly like that but we felt sorry for the other people on our table who had never been to a Murder Mystery night before. On the plus side, the actors did involve some of the guests directly into the evening by giving them a small part in the plot. The hotel is located right in the middle of the town and very close to the station which is great if you travel by public transport but the hotel car park is very small so lots of guests had to hunt around the town to park. The high street has limited time parking until 5.30pm. There is no free parking anywhere in the town, including the hotel car park.

Randomly popped into this place on day one of a walking trip, We went back everyday. It is the best bakery ever. The ham and cheese roll - yes one of their freshly baked rolls - made for the best walking lunch I have had in 20 odd years. Lots of other types of bread and cakes on offer and excellent coffee. And they are lovely people too. A high quality place.

This little bakery is well worth a visit. Tucked off the main street in Pitlochry, it sells the most amazing bread and pastries. We stopped for a coffee and an almond croissant and it was excellent. Good service and a great little spot to nab a quick bite to eat.

The only bad part of this stay was the very rude receptionist. Upon checking in and handing her my credit card, she told me that the credit card was declined Allí. Naturally I was upset because this is never happened to me before and I guess I was a little loud when I said I was not OK so anyway used another credit card and got checked in, but she followed me to the elevator, and I just seemed very overbearing. I was very uncomfortable and not happy with this beginning of a stay. The rest of the stay was just OK. The room was a little outdated and the shower did not work. Outside of that, the breakfast was very good and the people working there were very polite, which should’ve made up for that rude receptionist

Not the best experience. Turns out they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (not what it said online) after a 40 minute drive there. Called on the Wednesday to check and open. Prices were more expensive than online and was pointed towards a screen to order with 2 of them standing about but had to tell him no pickles on the burger anyway after I had ordered. Food was okay but definitely won’t be back supporting this business.

Lovely location, good service and great food. We had bacon rolls, an egg roll, followed by scones & cakes, all were excellent. Will definitely be back on our next visit to the area.
