Nice stop with lots of food options and ice cream. Too many counters so can be bit confusing where to pay or order 😅.

Good food and excellent experience with the highland cows!! One of the best parts of our trip to Scotland, loved it.

Disappointed as having visited for many years unable to park due to all the ev parking places, none of which were being used.

Nice big seating area outside now, some shaded some not. Menu has the usual, cakes are fresh made locally. Strawberry tart was nice, as was the scone.

Omg this place is awesome. I came here on recommendation from my parents neighbours who stop here with their own dog for a rest break. Situated just outside Perth it is well signposted. Dogs are welcome outside where there are garden seats under the canopy and where there are lovely huts. There is a self service button to make the staff aware you are outside. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I loved this place. Homemade pancakes were delicious. This will definitely be on my rest stop list from now on.

In this sort of service station along the road to Inverness, they also keep the typical Scottish Coos cows.

Great stopping off place on our travels to Aviemore. Staff couldn't be more helpful and yes you are actually served at your table. I had the small cooked breakfast with the best link sausages I have EVER tasted. Good selection of shops as well.

The cows you have here really need better care and attention. With hooves and hair in this state they look very neglected.

It has a very good restaurant with options for vegetarians as well. Unfortunately no Halal food available here.

"Stopped at Bankfoot Taste of Perthshire on Sunday, April 27th, and it was so much more than just a stop on the route home! The mushroom soup was truly exceptional. My brother-in-law raved about his full Sunday roast beef, saying it was amazing. And the scone with Mull cheddar? A bakery sensation! The staff were also fantastic. Highly recommend!"

A very expensive shop as a lot are here, prices are excessive clearly aimed at foreign tourists

Tourist destination for buses and people going North of Perth. Got a gift shop, clothes and food. Nice, clean cafe with large selection of food. A bit expensive due to trying to get as much money out of tourists.

A great spot to park overnight with Moho, No charge 😀 nice shop, fresh food, takeaway and restaurant, highly recommended👍😊

Great places stop. Great selection of items. Wee whiskey area. Good selection of food to take away or eat in. Loved the out side seating area had a few huts you can use. But can’t stop and miss the coos

The place is beautiful, and I was really excited to visit the cows. The waitress who served us was lovely, but unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. The soup was tasty, but the baked potato was hard as a rock. I mentioned it to the manager and she told me she had personally tried it and it was fine—basically implying I was lying. I was left speechless, and she said she wouldn’t charge me for the soup. Still, her attitude was very unpleasant, and I’ve never been treated like that in any restaurant before. I guess everyone can have a bad day… That being said, I absolutely recommend visiting the cows—it’s a lovely experience, and you can even buy food at the shop to feed them!

Great motorhome stopover, just off the A9. Lovely dog walk down to the cows and lambs. Very well stocked shop, although very expensive. I ordered a portion of chips 2 minutes before closing, but they still made them for me, with a smile. Can get very busy with coach trips.

I think the owners have been upgrading their facilities. The restaurant was comfortably busy

Food was very good, staff friendly and good atmosphere no hesitation in recommending a visit.

Our tour bus made a stop here. Perfect for cooling off, eating and drinking, or enjoying a snack. Its gift shop has several curiosities. The place is spacious and with seats available. Clean services, has internet, free parking area. You can feed and photograph their highland cattle. The people who work here are friendly, which is appreciated.

Was here 6th March , had lunch , all staff were fantastic, brought toys for our toddler too ! Food was great but when we checked receipt in car we found the 2 bowls of extra rice we ordered were £9!!! Which I think is terrible ? Definitely tourist prices and left us a bit annoyed Maybe we should have asked how much before we added on ?

We stopped on our tour bus and received a very warm welcome. The place is very well stocked with beautifully displayed gifts and produce. We fell in love with the Highland cow! Best comfort break ever!

Had a delicious meal here,staff very polite and efficient. There is also gift shop,whisky shop and clothing. Very much worth visit.

A lovely selection of farm shop bought a few things there and a dress in clothing section. Plenty of parking space plus a petrol station.

A wonderful place to take a break for food and contact with nature. The typical Scottish breakfast is also delicious in a vegetarian version. Very nice the possibility to buy feed for the Scottish cows and pet them. Restaurant surrounded by nature and animals.

Taste Perthshire was such a great find that we ended up eating here twice. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was solid. The attached gift shop is huge and fun to browse, but the real bonus was being able to buy cow feed at the register and head out back to feed and pet Highland cows! There’s also a playground for the kids and even a Tesla charging station. If you're traveling along the A9 north of Perth, it’s the perfect stop.

A good place to spend your leasure time. There's a children's play area, restaurant, gift shop and delicatessen although the last 3 are very over-priced. Also on the grounds is a petrol station and several charging stations.

An afternoon of beautiful home baked cakes...the freshest sandwiches wonderful ....endless tea and great service....we blethered for 3 hours....

Fabulous stop good quality products. Prices are a little higher than your usual place but great sized portions which really Is value for money. Easy access in and out. Disabled friendly.

It's often very busy and the aisles are narrow and blocked by displays. The clothes section is better but very expensive and the discounts are often confusing. Quite a lot of quirky stuff. Café is always too busy for me.

Cannot fault this place. Really good food, very pleasant and courteous staff, and spotlessly clean toilets. The old adage: " If the toilet's clean, the kitchen is clean." The owners are " hands-on," setting a great example to their staff. Mòran taing/ Muito obrigado.

I've ordered two Ham and Mixed pizzas, they were like a sandwich and they were around 4£ each. The pizzas were heated and I must say that they were so delicious and full of different ingredients! Yummy

Went with my dog today, best experience for dog friendly ever. Fancy wee sheds all kitted out for dining in any weather, private, heated, buzzer for service and very pleasant to sit in. I’ve been going there for more than 30 years through all its renovations and changes and this was the best one yet 👍

Often stop here for take away - the young staff know me and my order now - bacon roll, coffee etc - always excellent Last night we decided to eat in - Mac cheese and coke float was fabulous but, the chicken burger was awful - I've never had such dry over cooked chicken in my life - left half of it. The salad on the roll however was good.

Lovely place but very expensive in my opinion. Food was good but other places are as good but a third of the price.

Stopped here on the way to the Highlands, and also on the way back home. Lovely friendly service and tasty fresh meals with gluten free options. We had jacket potatoes on the way up to the Highlands, 1 with pulled pork and cheese and 1 with maccaroni cheese both was enjoyed 😍 On the way home we had cooked breakfast and again well cooked and tasty just what was needed to help us on the long journey ahead. This place also as an amazing gift shop and food items. This taste of Perthshire is our go to place when we are in the area. We will see you again on our next visit to the Highlands 😍🤗

Have stopped here many times on road north. Unfortunately it would appear there was a coach load of people in meaning there was a queue. This has never happened to before, it just took the enjoyment away from our visit.

Came here last year on our annual visit to Scotland, and it still an amazing place to dine with fantastic food and friendly staff and great atmosphere. Just an add in as we are on our way home now and popped in for breakfast once again amazing food with great services.

My husband and I stopped for a quick snack on route from Stirling to Inverness. At the takeaway counter we were served by the most kind and courteous young man who presented us with the best bacon rolls and coffee we have tasted in a long while. Well done to this lovely guy for taking the time to put his love and effort in to making our delicious snack and for the gentle manner with which he did so. Perfect customer care. Much appreciated.Thank you. We'll be back!

Looking at the menu the prices are a bit higher to similar places. Maybe the standard of food is superior. Difficult to say when we had tea and a scone which was nice. Great service. We walked around the shop which has lots of goodies. Food,gifts,clothing and lots more. Worth a visit and a great place for tourists to stop off.
