Sop here every time I pass. Always excellent, had scones which were a bit beyond their best. Pity but will go back

Cosy restaurant, with very friendly staff. Shop with lots of interesting and nice things to buy.

It's often very busy and the aisles are narrow and blocked by displays. The clothes section is better but very expensive and the discounts are often confusing. Quite a lot of quirky stuff. Café is always too busy for me.

Cannot fault this place. Really good food, very pleasant and courteous staff, and spotlessly clean toilets. The old adage: " If the toilet's clean, the kitchen is clean." The owners are " hands-on," setting a great example to their staff. Mòran taing/ Muito obrigado.

I've ordered two Ham and Mixed pizzas, they were like a sandwich and they were around 4£ each. The pizzas were heated and I must say that they were so delicious and full of different ingredients! Yummy

Went with my dog today, best experience for dog friendly ever. Fancy wee sheds all kitted out for dining in any weather, private, heated, buzzer for service and very pleasant to sit in. I’ve been going there for more than 30 years through all its renovations and changes and this was the best one yet 👍

Often stop here for take away - the young staff know me and my order now - bacon roll, coffee etc - always excellent Last night we decided to eat in - Mac cheese and coke float was fabulous but, the chicken burger was awful - I've never had such dry over cooked chicken in my life - left half of it. The salad on the roll however was good.

Restaurant is really nice. Tasty food and quick friendly service. Gift and food shop has nice things but a bit small. Very close to A9.

Lovely shop that sells Scottish products. You can as well have a coffee or cup of tea with desserts

Lovely place but very expensive in my opinion. Food was good but other places are as good but a third of the price.

Stopped here on the way to the Highlands, and also on the way back home. Lovely friendly service and tasty fresh meals with gluten free options. We had jacket potatoes on the way up to the Highlands, 1 with pulled pork and cheese and 1 with maccaroni cheese both was enjoyed 😍 On the way home we had cooked breakfast and again well cooked and tasty just what was needed to help us on the long journey ahead. This place also as an amazing gift shop and food items. This taste of Perthshire is our go to place when we are in the area. We will see you again on our next visit to the Highlands 😍🤗

Have stopped here many times on road north. Unfortunately it would appear there was a coach load of people in meaning there was a queue. This has never happened to before, it just took the enjoyment away from our visit.

Came here last year on our annual visit to Scotland, and it still an amazing place to dine with fantastic food and friendly staff and great atmosphere. Just an add in as we are on our way home now and popped in for breakfast once again amazing food with great services.

A wee stop on the way to Skye. Amazing brunch, fresh coffee and pancakes. Eggs benedict were first class. Super friendly staff too.

My husband and I stopped for a quick snack on route from Stirling to Inverness. At the takeaway counter we were served by the most kind and courteous young man who presented us with the best bacon rolls and coffee we have tasted in a long while. Well done to this lovely guy for taking the time to put his love and effort in to making our delicious snack and for the gentle manner with which he did so. Perfect customer care. Much appreciated.Thank you. We'll be back!

Fantastic, the food was great and not expensive, the atmosphere was good the service was exceptional

Looking at the menu the prices are a bit higher to similar places. Maybe the standard of food is superior. Difficult to say when we had tea and a scone which was nice. Great service. We walked around the shop which has lots of goodies. Food,gifts,clothing and lots more. Worth a visit and a great place for tourists to stop off.

A tourist stop by the road with a cafe, souvenir shop, but more importantly cute Heilan Coo. Can buy the food from the shop and feed the coo ^^ Don't worry if they take your hand into their mouth, they don't bite.

Love looking round this place. Food is 1st class and decent portions. The shop can take a while to look round, so you could spend an afternoon shopping and eating. Fresh produce available to buy as well.

Stopped at Taste Perthshire for a quick pitstop on our way from Edinburgh to the Highlands, and it turned out to be the perfect break! They have clean toilets, delicious breakfast options, a great selection of drinks, and even food to feed the cows! The food was excellent, but what really stood out was the outstanding service. Every single staff member was so kind, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making sure we were well taken care of. They made us feel like part of their family, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our first meal in Scotland here! The loaded baked potato was wonderful. Place has a lovely shop and place to purchase food for the road. Staff was lovely, friendly and efficient. Lots of folks here for afternoon tea. Thank you!

Stopped there on the way to Newcastle. Great place. We had coffee and sandwiches. Fast service, delicious food. Specially liked the setting outside. Nice cosy tables, to enjoy the sunshine. Kids went to playground and loved the little house. Spacious car park with petrol station was very convenient too.

What a lovely wee gem of a place. I was expecting more service station type diner. Instead they had a restaurant, with an option of eating outside in lovely little huts. They were wee sun traps, while keeping us sheltered from the wind (there were some in the shade too). There was a play area and the food was delicious . It was pricey but the quality of the product used was high - from a fresh from farm/boutique cafe. The staff were lovely and so helpful.

Most excellent place. Follow the sign, 2 minutes off the main road. 100% better than a regular motorway service stop off.

If you're looking for a great location with a dog and want to eat and drink delicious food....amazing for a "rest stop"...the word just doesn't fit. You can also buy all sorts of things: local cheese, whiskey, clothing, souvenirs, etc

Very nice location for a motorway service station on the M9. Nice food and drinks

Plenty of seating, excellent atmosphere. Good range of food available. After ordering, a cool glass of Coke quickly appeared, followed by an immense portion of a 6oz steak burger, slathered with cheesy chilli beef and served with a generous helping of chips. It was a taste sensation, every flavour combined well to create a spicy, sticky delicious mess of a burger, accompanied by the crispiest but most fluffy chips ever. Followed by a portion of carrot cake, it was magical.

Amazing place. We stayed here with our motorhome. (Free and immediately made to feel very welcome). It looks somewhat average from outside but once you spend a bit of time here you see how special it is. We will have been here almost 24 hours when we leave. We had lunch yesterday, breakfast this morning and soon will be having afternoon tea in one of their huts. Food is excellent. The staff, service and atmosphere are impressive. They could not have been any more flexible to accommodate our kids who are fussy eaters. Nothing is too much trouble. We spent a fair amount of time sat outside in the sun on their very comfortable sofa. We watched other guests come with dogs and the staff would show up after a little while with water bowls for the dogs. So much more I could say. Highland cows (with babies) 1 minute walk away. (Kids enjoyed feeding them). Kids play area that our kids spent hours in. Really can't praise this place enough. A special mention to the restaurant staff who really could not do enough to make our visit as pleasant as possible. Thank you.

Always like to stop here for a meal on my way to and from my holidays. Food always excellent

Wind yourself through the gift shop and bakery counters and arrive at the restaurant to enjoy a meal, dessert, a bit of gin, you can't go wrong. I had the steak pie, which was delectably flaky and hearty, and an Edinburgh rhubarb and ginger gin and tonic. We also enjoyed a fruit crumble with custard; maybe not the best health diet, though. Oh, and before you leave, go feed the Hairy Coo for the experience!

So glad we stopped at 'Taste' the place looks pretty average from the outside. However when you step inside ...wow some amazing shops, we spent almost an hour. Food was great at responsible prices. I loved the beach huts, painted In some amazing colours. The highlight was the visit to the Highland Cows, in the field next to 'Taste'. Will definitely return 👍

Arrived very early in the morning with our motor home after driving up from France the evening before. Parked up in the corner to catch a few hours sleep before popping in for a lovely full fry up and coffee. The place is lovely and the staff are so nice. I would recommend a little look at the shop as well. Worth a stop on route north or south.

Second time coming here 1st time I ordered poached eggs and crumpets service was slow waited half hour for food and my poached eggs where raw the server was very sorry and was very nice mentioned she had been here for years can't remember her name .. 2nd time now currently 25 mins been sat down and we are still waiting for breakfast my coffee is finished the restaurant is empty.. probably drive past this place next time I head down south Food finally comes I'm missing sausages from breakfast and they are clearly deep fried horrible taste same with black pudding it's been deep fried has no flavour left in it and just oily for the price it is.. it's a bang average breakfast won't be back 100% P.s you need a new breakfast chef not one with the dirty cloth over the shoulder

Extremely friendly staff from moment we entered the premises for breakfast. Very helpful, even to the extent of finding out the names of the Highland Coos for young granddaughter when I phoned in the evening. Happy granddaughter, happy grandad.

Our first visit and definitely will not be the last! Really efficient and cheerful service combined with tasty food. We had one of the sharing platters which was excellent - a wee taste of several menu items.

A great place to break a long drive, just off the A9 between Perth and Dunkeld. It's both a Scottish produce shop, a deli and a restaurant. It now has a petrol station adjacent. We bought sandwiches and filled rolls to take away and they were excellent.
