The Ark in Kensington and Chelsea

It is no longer ,changed it is now the Shed, a completely different restaurant where were you the last 3 years ?

This was a great place but it is no longer there! It is now The Shed which is very good but not consistent with the dishes

This is one amazing fish restaurant We have been going for many years and the food is consistently excellent We have never had a bad meal The staff are wonderful Nothing is too much trouble Just a wonderful place to enjoy lovely food Perfect

Como os que eventualmente acompanham minhas resenhas devem saber, não dispenso provar de uma boa comida italiana em minhas viagens pelo mundo. Neste caso, as massas foram apenas corretas, nada entusiasmantes.

El Arca en Hermón Hill en South Woodford es un buen pescado y chip cafe. No se puede reservar, así que esperar colas en los viernes y sábados. Es mucho menos concurrido los domingos por la noche, pero yendo más tarde (a las 8 de la tarde) generalmente significa no tener que esperar. Los pedidos son sólo después de las 9 pm. Hay un menú y también especialidades diarias. puede tomar cualquiera de los pescados como quieras y las porciones son grandes. patatas fritas y blanda guisantes son buenos ( pero no como aquellos en el norte!) las gambas y ensalada de aguacate, la maceta gambas y el verano pudding ... cuando en el menú especiales. El servicio es amable y eficiente. Hay un aparcamiento de coches.

Mientras esto podría haber sido un buen restaurante italiano por desgracia fue muy decepcionante. La comida era buena, pero las raciones eran minúsculos incluso si habíamos pedido las porciones grandes. obviamente me pareció que debe haber sido un error y cuando pedimos el personal fueron sencillamente groseros. Es una pena, pero con servicio como que nunca volveré. Hay también muchos italianos con buena comida y estaban en realidad quiere allí.

If you're in the area and fancy some decent Italian food then this is the place. Accurate, competently produced and seasoned dishes served by cheery staff.

Lovely romantic ambience, outstanding service - we have been twice and have had a great evening both times.

El restaurante no es muy grande.La mesa estaba un poco demasiado cerca del siguiente así que uno de nosotros tenía hasta llegar a dejar una cena dejar en otra mesa. El servicio era eficiente pero formal y tuvimos un pequeño lío cuando queríamos compartir la factura por pagar con dos tarjetas. Sin embargo, En general, una comida muy agradable.

Based on the good reviews went there for lunch and had a fabulous set meal lunch. The Lemon sole was amazing. The restaurent had a relaxing warm feel to it and our female waitress was extremely hard working and friendly

Es un sitio un poco escondido dentro de un barrio maravilloso y con grandes opciones pero cuando llegas y ves la terraza que está (en verano) abierta y no en una calle bulliciosa te conforta. La cocina está muy elaborada con platos italianos y con más opciones para poder elegir . Es un espacio muy romántico y que por la noche se disfruta por el ambiente tan cálido que transmite . Los postres son una delicia . La atención cuidada , agradable y amable sin formalismos excesivos . Me quedé con ganas de cenar en la terraza pero el tiempo no acompañó , lo recomiendo si es posible y la velada es de pocos comensales .El precio está dentro de lo normal . Desde luego no es un restaurante super barato pero la relación calidad-precio no defrauda

お店の外観は四方にフェンスで囲まれた屋外テーブルがあって、ロマンティックな印象。店内はモダンで、照明が暗かったので覚えていませんが恋人同士でのディナー向きといった雰囲気。お味の方はまあまあ、可もなく不可もなく。どれもお値段高めでした。雰囲気は良いですが、これ！といった一品に出会えなかったです。

I've been a few times. The food is good, service a little too serious (formal) and the prices too high.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday in Feb so no surprise that it was quiet. The fixed menu at around £15 is good value - the food was well cooked and enterprising and the service attentive. We had the corner seatt near the road which has the benefit of being circular. The ravioli starter a was well made and the Sea Bass on lentils well done with crispy skin and a deep flavour to the lentils augmented by a great salsa verde.

I'm sure those who visit this site are discriminating people and like me they want more honesty in reviews, which is why tripadvisor is so important. this restaraunt has been here for many years and in different incarnations. Now it's up market Italian; the only up market thing are the waiters (all female). the problem with the food is that no body in the kitchen loves it! It's ordinary and poorly cooked.Was it worth the £180 the thre of us paid. No! (that only included one bottle of wine incidently)

Good food in right quantities and interesting options. Choose your table wisely for lighting and position as otherwise can be hemmed in. Lamb exceptional and three fish/seafood dishes all very good. Difficulty in wine selection (choices not available or found out too late only one bottle) was dealt with graciously when the bill came. Definitely one for a revisit.Ion

My husband and I dined at The Ark on our first night in London. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was intimate. The Ark is located in a quiet area of Notting Hill. The restaurant itself is small and cozy. We had 2 salads, 2 entrees, and a bottle of wine for 56.81 Pounds. We definitely recommend The Ark for refreshing Italian food.

We stumbled on The Ark and it is cute with good food. The menus is not large, but the staff is very friendly. I had calf's liver that was the best I ever had. We were immediately greeted at the door and had a lovely experience for an anniversay trip.

Love this warm, down-to-earth restaurant. Very good modern European. Fab desserts.
