Apenas hizo contacto visual.

I have been a customer of this coffee shop for over 10 years and although it still serves good quality coffee, the place as a whole has really gone downhill. There has been a change of Management recently and the service is extremely poor. It's a great location with outside seating on a sunny day (rare to find) but the place is seriously tired and needs a complete makeover with both the interior and the staff.

A very popular coffee, pastry and deli shop, this small but busy place has tiny inside tables and small outside tables, and does a nice take-away business. The deli selections are varied and delicious. It is decidedly casual.Breakfast is light-to-moderate.We found the service to be adequate - nice folks. Both their coffee-making machine and credit card machine are iffy, or at least were on our repeated visits. If you are in the area, a nice stop.

Being hungry and nearby around noon urged us to look around for a restaurant with nice food. We stumbled upon this Italian specialties shop and first continued our route because of al the traffic noise. After only walking a hundred steps my wife and looked at each other and decided to go back... and a good choice that was. The place has plenty of tasty and original Italian salads, fish, meat and other goodies. Prices were very reasonable, quality and taste top shelf... a place we will return to the next coming days. You want a taste of Italy... this is the place!

We popped into this café prior to our visit to the Chelsea Flower Show as the food looked really appetising on the deli counter and the place was packed which we thought was a good sign. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The service was chaotic, we had to order our drinks at one till and our food at another as the waiters seemed to be too busy to take our order. I ordered salmon and potatoes but unfortunately my salmon was very dry and the potatoes really oily. My husband ordered tuna couscous salad which he felt was overpriced and a little uninspiring. I went to pay for our meal and they only charged us for drinks, I then pointed out that we had food that we needed to pay for and the waitress couldn't understand why it wasn't on the bill, there was no record of what we'd ordered so in desperation only charged us for one meal. I was more than happy to pay for the 2 meals but she didn't seem to want to take the money for some reason...I also think they could do with investing in better seating, as someone with joint problems the chairs are very uncomfortable and wouldn't encourage me to linger over lunch or order another coffee... All in all unsatisfactory, maybe we made the wrong choices but I don't think we'd risk it again.

Chicken Cacciatore & spinach looked tempting.....I should also add, its very tasty........BUT 1 leg, five olives, a 2cm cube of pepper skin and a quarter of a bag of wilted spinach has just set me back an outrageous £11.45!!!!!!!Are you totally mad la Bottega...........whats-more its not until I reach my desk and unparcel the meagre offering that I discover this absurd price to portion disparityIrritated.

Walking back to Sloane's Square Underground station after a long day at the Chelsea Flower Show, we found a little Italian café, La Bottega, to sit and enjoy a cup of well brewed espresso and a sweet treat. We went back at the end of our second day at Chelsea, too. It is small and you may have to wait for a seat inside or a table outside. It’s worth it. The coffee is brewed in true Italian style and the yummy Italian cakes and biscuits reward you for a full day strolling through the flower show. On the down side, the man who seats customers and manages orders was unfriendly and unhelpful. He acted as if customers were an intrusion into his busy life. He needs to remember that it’s the customers who make the café a success. At one stage, as we waited to pay the bill, he simply put his hand up in my face to indicate I should wait until he is ready. Then, he looked at the bill and told me the total I had to pay. I then pointed out that the bill was incorrect. All of a sudden, his arrogance turned to an apologetic statement. Another customer who understood Italian reprimanded him and the man behind the counter serving her for making disparaging remarks in Italian about her when they thought she couldn’t understand Italian. If the manager added some customer service to his arrogance, the whole experience might be pleasant for everyone. Despite this, La Bottega is a slightly crammed café with loads of personality and quality Italian food and espresso.

I went here on a Saturday morning. It was a sunny day and didn't want to walk much further. This was the first place I came across and frankly I wish I had kept walking! I think the overwhelming theme of disappointment was with service- which seems to be a trend reading these reviews. The waitress abruptly asked me if I wished to order to which I requested a menu to which she looked a little bemused. This level of service continued for the whole visit....Rather than going through the long list of faults with the service, of which there were many I think it is better to point out the fact there is clearly parallels with this review and others- I think what needs pointing out is that companies that refuse to listen to feedback cease to exist, maybe that would be for the best!

Perfect location for a lovely little deli. It is a shame that the service is appalling. The waitress was rude. We were still eating when she took the plate away for us. The Italian team made plenty of unnecessary comments in Italian about the guests possibly oblivious to the fact that a lot of people in the area speak more than one language. I mentioned to the manager that the waitress need to revisit what good service means and instead of apologising or simply showing some concern the manager didn't say anything. the waitress decided to shout at us because we mentioned about the poor service. Very poor attitude. Plenty of lovely places in the area so we will never bother to revisit this place.

I visited for a quick snack in a break between rehearsal and performance at the nearby Cadogan Hall. I had a piece of spinach and ricotta pie with salad and a small macchiato. I asked for the bill and was sent over to the counter. The total was £26! I was so taken aback I didn't even question it. The bill was not itemized but there were few customers in the restaurant. I was reminded of the one about the gorilla that walks into an Italian restaurant and orders a pie and a coffee. The waiter thinks: here's to make a bit of profit, these gorillas aren't noted for intelligence-so he asks him for £26. Later, he remarks to the gorilla, by way of conversation, "We don't see too many gorillas in here you know", and the gorilla says...

After around 40 minutes we got seated on the balcony of the cafe which was not decorated in fendi wall paper etc like pictured it was just a fendi print table and felt somewhat detached from the rest of the cafe. The tea and cakes where lovely but i think it’s more somewhere you’d pop into in the middle of shopping for a drink and chat but after the 40 minutes waiting to get in it sort of takes away from it!
