We had a very tasty lunch today - there was so much to choose from on the menu but we opted for open leaf sandwiches, waffles and chips on the side. All delicious, beautifully presented, good value and very filling (sadly as the cakes and other home bakes looked delicious too). Quirky contemporary surroundings and great service topped off a super experience for our last day in Orkney. Find this just off the main shopping street in the centre of Kirkwall - a few minutes from St Magnus Cathedral (where we had gone to the Sunday Service - also recommended).

I arrived before lunch was out, had rather boring, but really well cooked and presented scrambled egg on toast, and good tea served in a pot. By the time I wnt in to pay there was an amazing array of interesting looking salad. There were also some very temoting cakes that I managed to resist. Looks comfy inside, but there's a lovely seating area outside, but shielded from the road - it's a quiet street, but excellent to sit outside and not have bokes and cars whizzing past really close. An excellent place, I will definitely be returning.

1 New Oxford StreetAmazing pizzas, thin crust which is just the way I like and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. You can sort of see the chefs making the pizzas which is really cool. The best part about this place is the prices, so affordable and a great ambiance to the place. Would highly recommend coming here!

La pizza era buena, seguramente mejor que muchas otras cadenas que encuentras alrededor, y a un precio razonable - mi pizza era de aproximadamente 12 libras, mi marido es de aproximadamente 14. La pizza estaba bien cocinada y sabía muy bien! El servicio fue rápido, y el Negroni era encantador. Como italiano, siempre encuentro algo de lo que quejarme de la pizza extranjera... Y en este caso es que los platos eran demasiado pequeños, por lo que cortar la pizza fue una lucha. Pedimos dos expresos que nunca vinieron, pero cuando fui a pagar el gerente se disculpó por la lentitud del servicio (no fue) porque eran inesperadamente cortos de relleno. Gracias, volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en Londres.

195 Royal College Street, London NW1 0SG EnglandThis pizza restaurant is such a hidden gem. Everyone was incredibly lovely and the pizza was incredible. It was all decently priced and there was such a good selection. There was a lot of wine choices as well and dessert was delicious.
