best option in the nw3 & nw6 area for fresh ravioli & tortellini, antipasti and italian cheeses and deli meats. their salsiccia is my favorite. they also do nice paninis to takeaway.

This is the best Italian family owned deli in London and their coffee is absolutely fabulous. As a traveller from Australia, Australians being known for their coffee snobbery, this place is great. Their lasagne, hand made pastas and pane carasau really are fantastic

I know everybody talks about the pasta and meat here but their iced coffee is also sooo good. Must try!!

The tomatoes sauce test was horrendous ! The container was not sealed it was a mess in the bag , the pizzas was not hot and horrible to eat waste of money the assistant was unfriendly almost rude . Will not go back there again.

Absolutely fabulous Itallian Deli near the Royal Free Hospital in South End Green NW3. A most authentic place established in 1991. Been coming here for years and always very happy. A choice of Pasta and Lasagnas fresh and frozen. Even have a Coffee while your choice of Ham or salami is being cut. (We like the Ham with Herbs and the Fennel salami most). Pastas made on the premises in front of you. Gnocci as well. Of special note is the ever changing range of vegetable buffet items - all very italian. Just recently we bought ( £5 for each) a wonderful slice of Aubergine with tomato and another lovely 'sort of' quiche. Lunchtime sandwiches and rolls also -with all the fillings from the Shop. And more - go and look.

I'm a Italian native and a cook. I bought some of their fresh pasta today ( mushroom and truffle ravioli), and its one of the best pasta dishes I've ever eaten in my entire life. And they were so helpful with some special requests I made in store with some other purchases. So helpful and obliging. Do yourself a favour and check them.out!

A tremendously enjoyable experience coming here. Fresh, handmade pasta, many of which are filled, vie for attention alongside antipasti, homemade sauces, cheeses from across Italy (I particularly like the truffle parmigiana) and even divine fresh tiramisu! It’s only a tiny little shop, and I usually have to wait 10 minutes or so outside, but the staff are courteous and make you feel valued and special. I love it.

The handmade pasta, prepared fresh throughout the day, is superb. The basil pesto is the unforgettable. Service is warm and helpful. A family owned business - run by people who know and love good food - we're lucky to have this delicatessen in Hampstead.

Tiny but has pretty much everything

This is the best Italian food shop you could hope to have locally - it is very difficult not to leave with twice as much as you had on your original list. The gnocchi and pasta are better than you can get anywhere, including Italy!!!!

Very disappointing. Firstly, I was surprised that none of the staff speaks Italian, but also that they didn't have many essential Italian cupboard stables (biscuits, fette biscottate, etc.). I went there to specifically buy some guanciale for a recipe and I was given the worst cut (the first bit, only white fat that should be cut away and discarded) and the wrong portion, which meant being unable to cook what I had in mind.

I passed by this beautiful little place many times and I never had a time to step inside. Don’t ask me why... yesterday I decided I need fresh and quick dinner. I got 8 pumpkin ravioli. I paid slightly more then in bigger shops but OMG- best ravioli ever. Freshness and taste. I have no idea which blend of ingredients made this so creamy and tasty but I can say - best pasta in London!!! My photo might not be the best but this dinner was a haven.

I haven't been to Giacobazzi's for several years but it was an excellent deli serving delicious fresh pasta and pesto and lots of other Italian delicacies. Service was always friendly.

A wonderful little spot; I was so glad I found it! They offer a wide range of deli and cheese options, as well as fantastic homemade pasta! I recently got the pesto tortellini and it was wonderful, really excellent quality for what you pay!

Giacobazzi's is one of Belsize Park's gems, open for 27 years, tucked away on Fleet Road serving as a perfect pitstop for those visiting Hampstead Heath. Serving freshly made Italian deli food including filled pastas made on site, truffle butter, desserts and a great selection of cheese and meat cuts. There is a large freezer selling family portions of lasagna, pasta and gelato. Give the sandwich counter a try. Some wonderful freshly made sandwiches including spicy salami with pecorino cheese and rocket. Giacobazzi's is pricey but it delivers quality. With that said the price of their deli items including the sweet garlic, roasted peppers and asparagus - which you can order in increments of 100 grams - is steep with a price tag averaging £4 per 100 grams. Increasingly Giacobazzi caters to the wealthy clients in the area offering delivery and preparation of everything needed for a meal, from the breadsticks and olives to the seasonal cakes. Giacobazzi's quality comes at a price, with most items priced at a premium. Having visited regularly for years I have noticed the portion sizes getting smaller. This is probably the only area of Giacobazzi that has not kept to their high standards. Surprisingly, Giacobazzi's owners foray into restauranting did not go well. Having opened Osteria Emilia along along Fleet Road, the Italian restaurant closed quite quickly and it is now a popular Thai restaurant.

Have a fantastic selection of cheeses and a small but well curated selection of wines and Olive Oyl everyone seemed very polite and friendly just seem to be a very nice place

This place is incredible, from their sandwiches, to their daily freshly made pasta, to their cooking sauces, to their desserts, I can't say enough about this place. There is a clear passion for authentic Italian food and their customer service is fantastic. Reasonably priced too for Belsize Park.

Giocobazzis packs an astonishing number of good things into their small space. A visit there always means that I come out with far more than I went in for. Stayed at Royal Free hospital for a few days and discovered this hidden gem. They have the tastiest Italian food I’ve ever tried. When you walk in and have a look around, you will want to try everything!

This deli was located down the street from where we were staying in Hampstead. A friend recommended it. We grabbed a couple of small packages of lasagne, which heated up nicely and were quite tasty.

Amazing little family-run deli in lovely Hampstead Heath. The selection is impressive: top quality cheeses, cold cuts, wines and confectionery from all over Italy, but the real highlight is the salads and ready meals section. The mushroom lasagne are to die for. And how could I not mention their fantastic, extra-stuffed sandwiches? Perfect for a picnic in the nearby park.

It's a tiny little shop near the Hampstead Heath overground station and they offer delicious handmade pasta(in front of you) and freshly prepared pesto, also a variety of other high quality delicatessen from Italy. Definitely worth a visit!

Great fresh selection and friendly service.

Local Delicatessen making fresh pasta on site daily. Superb selection of home made sauces to accompany the pasta. Saturday is Ham on the bone made in their kitchen and also to die for home made traditional polpette(meatballs). Too many other things to list go along you will not be dissapointed.

Neighbourhood Gem. Sells home made pasta, cured meats and other Italian produce. Seems like the store has been there for a long time and I hope it remains so.

This is a true, authentic taste of Italy. The moment you walk into Giacobazzi's the enchanting smell of fresh Italian pasta, homemade pizza, cheeses, herbs and meats hits you. This is where you are absolutely willing to spend extra because what you get in return for your money is absolute quality. Unlike many of the faux continental delicatessens in the immediate vicinity, Giacobazzi has the most authentic produce, and an unparalleled taste. If they had a seating area you would see a competing exodus from the Hampstead cafes run there, and rightly so because noone comes close in service or taste. Long may this magnificent delicatessen continue - this is where you will find the best ciabatta in London. And the coffee is also good.

Excellent quality, great selection of products

Popped in for some of their out of this world tasty Pesto (if you haven't tried it yet......you haven't lived). Always a friendly bunch inside (family run). Very knowledgable about their products and full of polite advice for further choices. Great range of fresh produce with my favourite being of course the Pesto and also the Mortadella. A proper find and a must visit for fans of Italian food. Delicious seasonal produce too. But importantly for me, kind to the wallet.

This place has the best focaccia I have found in London. I lived in Italy for years and when you enter Giacobazzis iť is like stepping into a deli in an Italian town or village. There is a huge selection of everything Italian you can imagine. Fresh pasta, ravioli, tortellini and more. There are many other delicious cooked foods. The Tuna sandwiches deserve a special mention as I hate Tuna but bought a sandwich for my wife and ate some of it and the Tuna was delicious and mild. It turns out it is a specific brand of tuna that isn't overpowering in smell but mild and tasty. You can also order food for catering or events. I ordered five trays of focaccia for our wedding vow renewal and everybody loved it. My wife has been very ill for years and every time I visit her at the Royal Free hospital or the Marie Curie hospice I try and pick up something from Giacobazzis (especially the focaccia) and my wife loves it. I could go on but if you are ever in the area visit Giacobazzis. You won't regret it.

Wonderful produce from Italy. Fresh. Great variety and high quality items. The mortadella is the best I have sampled out of Italy. Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. Homemade pastas are delicious.

Hay un montón de buenos comentarios de aquí que no entiendo muy bien. La tienda es muy pequeña y por lo tanto su selección de comida es muy pequeña. Compré una selección de pasteles, rodajas de tortes, algunas hechas a mano, pasta y queso. Su pasta era muy buena y un buen precio, teniendo en cuenta que se hicieron desde cero! Lo mismo con su tortes. Tenían algunos pasteles rellenos con nutella que era enfermizo dulce con una concha muy duro y no agradable para comer. Me pareció que su selección de quesos era muy mediocre y caro. Me decepcionó que la selección no era más grande y la gente no fue más cálido.

Visité después de leer todas las críticas tan favorables de aquí y me alegro de haberlo hecho. Yo opté por un sándwich comida para llevar, preparado en el momento con pan oscuro con aceite de oliva, salami y queso italiano. Comprar algunas salsas dulces caseros...

Compré un jamón ciabatta muy bien repleto de Parma que estaba delicioso y tenía una charla con una señora encantadora que me dijo que era el propietario. Ella tenía una auténtica pasión por su comida, lo que está hecho principalmente en las instalaciones. De hecho, las fragancias provienen de la cocina realmente hizo la boca agua. Volví un poco más tarde para comprar un poco de pasta fresca para cenar y acabó comprando salsa de cangrejo para acompañar la pasta, un plato de berenjenas tiernos, aceitunas verdes y jugosos pannacotta para el postre. This place is so friendly you can’t help but smile as you walk in!It's full to the brim of Italian delicacies-especially cheeses. The sandwiches are great for lunch or afternoon snack-made on fresh ciabatta rolls and drizzled with olive oil if you wish! Lots of choice re fillings but my recommendation would be tomato, mozzarella and basil pesto (one of the nicest pesto’s I’ve ever tasted-nothing like the type out of a jar!)If you're looking to impress dinner guests then cheat and take home some italian freshly made takeaway-pasta and risotto dishes are lovely!Desserts are fabulous-freshly baked tarts and cakes (chocolate torte and apple/lemon cake were stunning!)Can’t recommend this place highly enough

Ho vissuto a Londra per per più di un anno e mi è capitato diverse volte di passare di fronte a questo delicatessen..incuriosita anche dal fatto che molto spesso la gente faceva la fila per entrare..sono voluta entrare per verificare che la qualità del cibo fosse come quella italiana, visto che a Londra molti vendono prodotti di pessima qualità e spacciandone per italiana rovinando così la reputazione della nostra cucina.Ma da Giacobazzi's non è così..la presentazione è invitante..non solo per la pasta fresca fatta sul momento, di cui si può ammirare anche la persona che la produce, ma anche per i sughi..gli affettati.. il pane..il vino..da provare il tiramisù..e pesto alla genovese..Il personale molto gentile..sorridente e cordiale.Atmosfera familiare.

Love Giacobazzi! Delicious pasta at this Italian take-away deli, it is freshly made on the premises. Tortelloni with cheese/walnut filling tasty. My friend recently brought over some truffle filled tortelloni which were fantastic. The sauces are lovely. We love the focaccia as well. Prices are high, but the quality of ingredients is excellent and food delicious.

A piece of Italy in Hampstead Heath, London. Kind staff, superb italian starters, pastas, wine and warm welcome.

I will travel 30 minutes in the opposite direction to get my hands on their Pumpkin ravioli. With delicate hints of amaretto and creamy pumpkin paste, we make a fresh sage and butter sauce (essentially sage with butter-not complicated). Its made right there on site by a chef working in the shop.You may think you've tried great pasta.....in Italy maybe, but in the Uk...probably not. Their chocolate pressed cake is decadent and their puddings come in little pots- like the chocolate creme!

You can't sit and eat here but it's worth picking up the fresh pastas, ravioli, delicious sandwiches and awesome freshly ground coffee!

Very high quality Italian food store. Excellent selection of charcuterie and cheese. Homemade fresh egg pasta of the highest quality (try ravioli walnut and Gorgonzola). Very nice and friendly staff. An Italian "alimentari" in Hampstead of highest quality: a true gem.
