Love having this as our local! Staff are sound, people in there are always friendly, prices are good, and never had a bad pint.

Great local pub, friendly staff, even friendlier customers. And a great pint to top it off.

Amazing finger buffet on the bar, accommodated every need with a smile and energy, I had serious shots with local girls Rachael and Nicole xx it was a very warm day but dressed accordingly and made most of the pool table and toilets xxx

Marvellous pub. Great staff good Crown no idiots no drug dealers nice atmosphere. Bar maid from Kirkby forgot her name . Lovely women

The flat white was on average The french toast is horrible. The amount of eggs is over and at all is overrated

A great little find in the heart of the community. Family run independent and welcoming. Match days are always full and the atmosphere is great. Two sections to sit in - lounge/snug with a couple of small booths and the bar area with stools and a few chairs. The landlady is full of smiles and her team are a credit to the business. Thank you for making me feel welcome

Angelsea pub when going into pub no signing covid 19 Warning and not told to very poor ...pint nice but going to toilet sign telling me to wash my hands you filthy animals and when washing your hands hot and cold tap only work when placing one hand or another on tap when callenged them the taps don't work they look at you funny as if you have done something wrong ... WRONG PLACE WRONG TIME ....... NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT BY THE CITY COUNCIL .....

No signing in so covid-19 does not bother anyone ... Try washing your hands you can not and when telling the staff .They seem to think your a @### h**@ .lost me as a punter and losing punters fast needs looking in by Liverpool city council .... Not trust worthy .....

All year round this place is a must, but particularly Christmas The Anglsea is like being at home. Oh and it's a proper Red pub as well, which is handy coz we are champions of Europe! All welcome, boss juke box, decent-dencent boozer. Long may it reign over the Mersey.

We had the best New years ever . The Staff were amazing and great fun and fireworks and Old langs anye in the street at Midnight.
