Stayed here for one rainy night in October and the place was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was very comfortable, clean and seemed to have been newly updated. The food was quite excellent as well!

Had an excellent stay at Allan Park. The location is very central so everything is close by. The room was warm, comfortable and the bed was very comfy. We also had dinner in the restaurant... the steak was incredible as was the crème bruleé, the wine too. In the morning we had a magnificent full Scottish breakfast served by the most friendly, professional and attention staff. I would definitely recommend a stay here when you're in Sterling.

Very unusual place did not feel welcome at all, felt like I was an inconvenience to the owner and staff.

Visited here for lunch with a group of friends. Good selection of food and drinks available. Great service from the friendly staff. Drinks are quite expensive (for Stirling) but food is well priced for the quality. Highly recommend the mac and cheese! Nice atmosphere in the bar and restaurant area and a lovely homely feeling when sat next to the fire! Will be back.

Had a nice lunch then spent the rest of the afternoon sipping whisky and watching rugby on TV. Nice!

We were given a voucher for our Christmas. We arrived early and were seated quickly. Although we didn't get our drink order taken until our original booking time. Ordered drinks and they came quickly. Our food order was taken and again food arrived quickly. The haggis starter was amazing. My main meal was lovely (king prawn and mussels linguine) but my husband's venison stew might as well have been a mushroom stew as there were hardly any venison. He enjoyed the mash potatoes. All in all if we hadn't had the voucher we would have been very disappointed with the £75 price tag. Won't be hurrying back.

Visited Allan Park on the last night of a 3 week Scottish road trip. Good way to end the holiday. Friendly welcome, very Covid secure, lots of space so felt very safe. Seating both inside & out. Good menu catering for all diets. Service was excellent, courteous and unobtrusive. Enjoyed our food, portions a good size and well cooked. So overall would recommend for a relaxed meal.

We went here today for first time , nice location in Stirling. Outdoor area very nice .Inside wasn't as nice as I thought from the outside .Not enough staff on for a busy Saturday. Dinner was nice , had to ask for water and condiments .In a establishment like this , you should be asked .

We went for our meal on Saturday and I seriously don’t know how you guys keep up as it was soo busy and was packed full but we still got all meals on time same with drinks. Food was amazing as always. We are regulars and there’s no many places like this in Stirling. Special weekend menu is always so exciting with things you won’t get anywhere else plus so tasteful that’s a bonus. Very friendly. You people make us feel so welcome and comfortable but you always on the ball. Thanks again and off course we’ll be back soon

Our first visit to Stirling and thanks to TA we chose an excellent place to eat. It’s down a residential street so didn’t think we were going the right way! Parking behind the restaurant. Quite a few tables outside too in a covered area.Inside the restaurant is bright and nicely decorated with the tables well distanced. Serving staff were excellent throughout and very prompt. We ordered drinks whilst looking at the menu - good choice of seafood and meat based dishes (and vegetarian on a separate menu).We didn’t order a starter but were given a complimentary bowl of hummus with crispy bread - great! For mains I had the lamb rump and my wife the seafood risotto. The lamb was perfectly cooked and really tasty - the best meal I had eaten in our 10 day trip of Scotland so far. My wife had an excellent risotto which was cooked just as she likes it with plenty of seafood and chorizo.We hadn’t planned to have a dessert but had seen a number of people receive the popcorn chocolate pot so had one to share - as with the other dishes it was very enjoyable.So nothing to complain about - everything was great and would happily return.

We recently had meal at Allanpark, the service was good and place was busy.We enjoyed are meal, but this is but I had the lamb and was informed it is cooked and will be red.The lamb didn’t come red and certainly Medium/well done and had very little red.

A disappointing lunch. Lacking the freshness we have experienced since reopening. Gush finger sandwich batter mostly therefore greasy . No salad and cheap fries. Ketchup in a sachet ! If you want regulars it had to be better than this

This is probably one of the best restaurants in Stirling for overall quality, value for money and warm, welcoming staff. We visited on the wildest day, sitting outside when restrictions first eased and the staff couldn’t have been any nicer. It’s such a beautiful place.

Today we were passing Stirling on our Scotland staycation and I was desperate to find a good Sunday lunch and I cannot believe my luck finding this place! What a Sunday lunch! The effort put into this meal was phenomenal, every item was flavourful! The amount of beef with the roast was amazing too, such generous portions! I would urge everyone to go try this restaurant!!! What a lovely staff team too! I will return it ever back in the are. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

The restaurant has a great feel and the staff were friendly and very efficient. They even made me an Aperol Spritz despite it not being on the bar menu. The food was tip top our salmon in the crayfish sauce was incredible and so tasty. This is a must when dinning out in Stirling.

It was a general good experience. The typical pub with a front yard with tables to have lunch or dinner. The food was good but it was not the best we had overall in the visit to Scotland. Good value for money and nice staff.

Despite living in the area for over 20 years, this was my first visit to The Allan Park and I will definitely return. I enjoyed Sunday brunch with a friend - delicious and extremely quick service. Perfect location which allowed us to sit outside on an extremely quiet street - no busy traffic noise like other restaurants/ cafes. I can highly recommend.

We visited late afternoon on Sunday 30th May for a 20th birthday celebration for my son. As there were 9 of us we had to sit at separate tables but they managed to sit us close by in the snug. Whilst there the staff were really attentive without being intrusive. The starters and mains arrived in good time and were delicious, especially the Sunday roast! I’m tempted to turn up every Sunday now! We were looked after really well and we’ll definitely be back.

We went to the Allan Park with friends for a late lunch on the 17th May. The food was excellent as always and the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The inside of the restaurant is bright and airy and the Covid measures are done in such a way you do not feel restricted.We will definitely be back.

On arrival all looked nice, however the table hadn't been cleaned and chips on the floor. Starter of calamari was fresh and hot. Asked for wine list, server forgot. The lamb mains was very nice but a little on the small side. Server asked if we wanted desert and then failed to bring menu, so when she eventually remembered 15 mins later, she already had the bill printed off ! So nice venue, nice food although small portions, poor service, probably needed more staff.

For our first night out in ages, this was a great choice of restaurant. The service was excellent. Everyone was on the ball and very friendly. We had the calamari and the baked camembert to start, which were both really yummy. We had the Beyond vegetarian burgers for our mains which were really tasty, and the Tarte Tatin and Creme Brulee for dessert (both very incredible, but I think I might spend the next few weeks dreaming about the Tarte Tatin).We had a great night out and will definitely be back!

Dropped in last minute for lunch as they have a good selection of Vegan dishes which isn't common. Food was brilliant, especially the vegan brownie for dessert, and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be back.

We came to the Alan Park for a birthday celebration. This was the first time we had been out as a family for as long as we can remember and what a success. From start to finish the staff were just amazing! So attentive and friendly :) the food and drinks were delicious and my mums already booked to come back on Friday with friends. Thanks for a fab evening!

First food and drink indoors since the end of lockdown and what a treat it was. Lovely warm welcome from the always-friendly staff. Very well set up for social distancing/cleanliness, masks, etc. I had the ribeye steak and it was tremendous, my partner had the corn-fed chicken and loved it. A perfect pint of Schiehallion to go with it, and my good lady had tea and cake to finish with. The maitre d' is such a nice guy, and nothing is too much trouble. There is nothing pretentious about this place....it just serves great food and drink, at affordable prices, with attentive service which is never overbearing. What a treat to be back.

First outing for brunch in nearly a year and couldn't have picked a better place than this. Full breakfast and eggs benedict were outstanding but the service was even better. Welcoming, warm and friendly!

Very well organised with good Covid precautions inside. Nice pint of Loch Lomond real ale. Food excellent pub grub - (Haddock Chips & mushy peas). Very good service

Fab Sunday roast and puddings. Huge cut of rib eye for the roast which was a treat with highlights of cauli cheese and carrots. Lovely staff and atmosphere with good COVID safety measures. A good set up for a beer garden as well. Would really recommend if visiting the area. Only suggested improvement for the roast would be some greens as there was more garnish than greens but would 100% go back.

It’s been a long wait due to Covid restrictions, but we finally managed to get back for a late lunch today. Richard is a fab host and nothing is too much trouble. The food is all freshly prepared and good portion sizes. We had pre-booked a table in the conservatory. It was very busy but we weren’t rushed at all. Highly recommend a visit.

We stumbled across this gem of a place by pure accident. We called in at Stirling for a quiet place to eat after spending a hectic morning in Edinburgh. It's set back off the main town street's, so it's central but without all the traffic noise. My husband and I (and our Bassett hound) were warmly welcomed by Richard the owner/manager and his friendly staff. He saw we were cold and sat us by the lovely log burner...it was much appreciated. We were recommended the burger, and we were not disappointed.....so very tasty with quality ingredients. My husband is gluten free and he was impressed with the more than generous choice on the menu. Our dog Edith, was also welcomed and treat kindly....so we were super happy and could relax! Must mention that they're approach to safety in response to the pandemic was very impressive.....I think we can say the best we've experienced. Will definitely visit again next time we're in the area. Thanks guys x

Visited 'The Allan Park' on Monday 10th May with my wife & son. The food was fantastic and the service from the owner and his staff was 1st class. I would highly recommend the special starter of Asparagus, egg & chilli - if it's available when you visit. We were all very happy with the Haddock & Chips for mains !Looking forward to visiting The Allan Park again when back in Stirling

We visited this restaurant after reading the fantastic reviews online and we were not disappointed! Set up extremely covid secure, each table is set with a plastic barrier so you feel extremely safe. The staff, especially the manager were very welcoming and friendly, despite being very busy they were very chatty and did not make us feel rushed.We ordered the burgers and they were AMAZING! Juicy, great portions and handmade on site which makes all the difference. The manager even took off the Mac n cheese from our bill because it was a little delayed.In short, a great meal and if we were in Stirling for longer than one night we would have visited again. A must try!

This place is a hidden gem off the main road in Sterling. The food was delicious (the tarte tatin was top notch!) and the service was excellent (especially our waiter). Would definitely come again when in the area.

Me and my husband had a lovely time at Allan Park. Food is mouth watering you would expect in 5* restaurant. Great cocktails served by Emma and Rachel. Such a professional service!!! Everything is over the top but in the same time so casual. Lionel and Richard made us feel so welcome almost like we are home. Outside space is so cosy and specious. Everything was fast and first class. We are gonna come back for lunch with our son soon. And it’s dog friendly!!! That’s a bonus

We attended the Alan Park for a celebration lunch, as a party of 6, and were made to feel very welcome by the staff. They were accommodating, friendly and very attentive to everyone. Dietary preferences were catered to with no fuss. The service was excellent, the food was well prepared and presented and more importantly, was very good. I honestly can’t take any criticism away from our experience here today, it was a great dining experience. There was evidence of covid safety measures which were well followed from what I could see. I would recommend this for anyone looking for good food at a good price.

This was our first visit following TripAdvisor reviews and we weren’t disappointed. We visited for our anniversary lunch and were welcomed by Richard and the team. Richard was very friendly and welcoming and surprised us with some mini Prosecco’s when he discovered it was our anniversary. The food was lovely. We both had soup and sandwich and throughly enjoyed it. Look forward to returning when you can have alcohol with your meal.

We attended for my brothers graduation and the staff were so lovely and tentative. The restaurant is clean and warm. Food was utterly delicious! They were also very kind to gift my brother a bottle of processco to which we are very grateful for as due to covid we couldn’t drink inside. Thank you again to all the staff who made it a very special evening :)

Enjoyable dinner here last week - very good cooking, friendly staff. Dessert especially enjoyable. There is a covered table area at the front for drinks and inside has a fire and screens for socially distanced dining. Reasonably priced for the quality of the cooking. Will return.

Had a faultless dining experience at The Allan Park today. Enjoyed an incredible "fish(ish) and chips" made from battered halloumi, and an impressive range of vegan ice cream. My girlfriend said her seafood pizza was the best pizza she'd had since arriving in Scotland eight months ago. A varied, high-calibre menu that caters for all. A great place for couples to go. What struck me the most was the warmth and enthusiasm shown by Richard and the rest of the staff - we were treated so well, and it was clear that our enjoyment of the meal was of such importance to them. They are determined to get back up to full-throttle in light of the easing of Covid restrictions, and I'm sure they'll be thriving again in no time. We'll certainly be back soon!

Great choice for a bite to eat while visiting Stirling. Excellent chargrilled burgers, nice calamari and really good seafood risotto with samphire. Tables are outside at the front but well sheltered from the weather and it is a very quiet road. The staff are very friendly, fitting us in even though we hadn't made a reservation and the service is efficient. Will be back.

We found this place after visiting Stirling Castle on a wet Saturday afternoon. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. We enjoyed their pate starter to share, then both had the seafood and chorizo risotto - so much fish and very tasty, then for dessert we had creme brulee and chocolate pot, everything was very tasty. If we lived closer we would visit regularly and will be back if in the area again!

Fantastic food and service again, we have missed you! Seafood risotto was lovely and my friends enjoyed the Macaroni cheese, Salmon and traditional fish and chips. Staff attentive as always and Covid safe protocols. Can’t recommend enough and to top it off a few french martinis outside at the table. If only the weather was as predictable as the great food. Big thank you to the staff and chef, lovely to be served again.

My husband and I went for an anniversary lunch and ordered the Pan-seared Sea Bream Fillet Keto Bowl which was fresh and delicious and the fish finger sandwich which was excellent. The service provided was efficient and friendly. Richard could not make us feel more welcome. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, everything was very clean and we felt totally safe with the Covid prep in place. For dessert we had the sumptious and warming tarte tatin and my husband had the creme brulee, best he's had in the UK! Try it for yourself, we will be back.

Went to The Allan Park, Stirling, tonight for dinner after lock down ended and it was amazing! Great food and service, I would recommend the scallops and the chicken and my partner commented it was ‘the best risotto’ he has ever had! We will be back :)

Beautiful French Martini and Cosmo as an Aperitif. Starters were so wonderful we ordered 3 between 2. Scallops amazing, Camembert delicious and Calamari so fresh. One portion of Wonderful seafood risotto which the patrons kindly served in two bowls after our feast of starters. Bottle of Malbec to accompany which was wonderful. Service was attentive and friendly, nice to know our scallops were sourced responsibly. Best meal we have had in Stirling and beyond for a long time.Beautiful atmosphere outside with covered area and lights

Fantastic food and great service. My mother and I went for lunch today as it was the first day out of lockdown. The veggie Mac and Cheese was incredible! So velvety and a lovely crunch on the top. I had the steak burger and it was cooked to perfection. Service was very friendly and fast. Can’t wait to go back!!

It's in the nice area of town, near the leafy boulevards. Excellent food and even better customer service. We're extremely glad this place has reopened after these turbulent times. As a family we attended the Allan Park on Christmas Eve, The menu was extensive and varied. The food was tremendous. The service was friendly. We will definitely return.

On 19.12.2020 we visited this restaurant and were greeted with a warm welcome. Staff were attentive and respectful throughout and served us in a very hygienic environment. The highlight was the food, beautiful Tian of Salmon, Haddock and Poached egg, Soup followed by traditional Turkey and a Chicken / Haggis dish. The best Christmas meal out for many a year! The staff and environment is fabulous, the staff couldn't do enough for you, service with a smile and a bit of conversation. Covid safe with plenty of space yet still busy with chatter and lovely place to eat. they didn't rush us out and allowed us to take our time. Have been many times and have always received the same experience - Just lovely!!

Hadn’t been here since before lockdown and was interested to see how well they were set up. I needn’t have worried as everything is well orchestrated here. Tables are well spaced out, there is plenty of hand sanitiser, and the staff are warm, friendly and explain how everything works in terms of payments, leaving contact details, access to WCs, etc. All of which let us relax and enjoy a great couple of hours here. The service was superb and we were made to feel very welcome. There’s plenty of choice on the menu and I’d have to recommend the smoked haddock and hen’s egg starter, which was surprisingly light, and the ribeye steak, which was cooked to perfection. My partner had the calamari starter and the corn-fed chicken, both of which she loved. There’s a lovely atmosphere here, and the staff really look out for you. We won’t wait so long before we return here. The manager said they were having to reduce opening hours to Thurs-Sun only, in an attempt to see themselves through the current restrictions, so please pay them a visit. We need to support well-run, quality local establishments like this one.

Had my second meal here since covid restrictions were introduced. Felt safe and reassured both times. Excellent service, superb food and family friendly (great effort was made with my 4 year old on both occasions). Would highly recommend: a safe, local escape in these trying times (!) and a great restaurant that deserves to be supported.

We had a first class family dinner for five. From the minute we arrived the service was outstanding. The Manager was very particular about their Covid protocols and made us feel assured that the utmost care was taken. Some very nice Sunday specials on offer. A couple our party members decided to have the Sunday Roast Special and it looked and tasted delicious. A lovely plate of food. The other star was the fresh Fish and Chips. Lovely fresh fillets of fish and a good sized portion of chips topped off with mushy peas and home made tartare sauce. How can you go wrong! The staff were very attentive and the manager went out of his way to ensure we were being looked after and some good social chat to boot. ASk about the ‘back story to, Tarte Tatin if you visit. We high recommend the Allan Park, the staff are trying very hard in these trying times and it was evident that they want to make sure that their clientele are safe and also that the very best of food and serviced is experience. Well done folks - we will be back to support you soon.

Decided to have a late lunch, booking was simply done online, nice to see that social distancing was done, but seamlessly so.My Husband had the specials calamari, followed by beef goulash which was just perfect, I decided to go for the smoked haddock for a starter, just perfect followed by the lamb for my main course ❤ heaven on a plate. The service was 5 star, very friendly service. Would highly recommend a visit for anyone who is looking for great good and friendly atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had an absolutely gorgeous lunch here with my friend. Price was very reasonably, food was delicious and the service was superb. We had Richard as our server and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect lunch. Would absolutely recommend and cannot wait to come back again.

Myself and my mum visited here last week for brunch. The place was lovely and cozy and the staff were so friendly and attentive. We had the French toast and bacon and Eggs Benedict, both of which were lovely. We were having such a lovely time we sat for over an hour after finishing our food to have some teas and coffees. We were given the details of their Sunday roast which sounds fantastic.We will definitely be back!

I visited the Allan Park this afternoon with a friend and we were completely delighted with everything. On arrival the building was festooned with lights and was pretty as a picture, we were warmly welcomed and shown to a table right by a cosy wood burner. The gentleman explained all the precautions they were taking with covid which was very reassuring. We had coffee, carrot cake and an amazing 'walnut and caramel scone', and all were truly delicious.I will definitely be returning.

My wife and a friend had lunch at the Riverside Dunblane Yesterday and she came home saying they had a good lunch and that we should get out more often. So we decided to visit the Allan Park for lunch today. We hadn't been since the lockdown and were greeted at the door with a very friendly - what should we expect for keeping us safe. We were shown to our table and there were screens either side of us - really good.Richard then welcomed us again and advised items on the menu, we had a mac cheese and a steak sandwich with a super chimichurri sauce. My wife asked Richard for a portion of the sauce to go with the chips with her mac cheese and this was quickly delivered from the kitchen, with a hand written recipe for the sauce! Brill!The lunch was great then Richard talked us through the deserts and we found some room for the Tarte Tartin - to die for!Great Lunch we'll be back

We had a lovely lunch with friends at The Allan Park on Sunday. The food was great and the service was excellent. All the COVID requirements were explained to us as we arrived and we all felt safe - there was lots of space between the tables along with plastic screens. Richard and the Team were fab!

We all agreed it was the best Sunday roast we'd EVER eaten. All cooked to perfection. Children loved their burgers / macaroni cheese & superb churros and icecream too. Just what we all needed to boost our spirits and celebrate the best things in life in these difficult times for our country (& businesses).Such a lovely, calm atmosphere in beautiful surroundings created by the one-and-only Richard and his wonderful team, especially Sophie who attended so efficiently and courteously to all our needs. Felt 100% safe and clean. Everyone well spaced out. Full of locals who go there time and time again. Thank you. We hope to return again soon for another memorable family occasion.

As always our visit to the Allan Park was fabulous, staff are wonderful and the food is of the highest quality, with an extensive array of lovely dishes to choose from, including a great veggie/vegan selection. Thanks to you all for giving us an oasis of calm in these weirdest of times.....

I was lucky enough to be treated to a birthday lunch here yesterday, for my 50th no less (still in denial). Whilst my 50th was always going to be a large celebration with friends, lockdown put a stop to that. However this little gem of a restaurant was the perfect place to compensate. From the moment we entered staff were warm friendly and welcoming. The food was superb. My friend had the fish and chips which apparently was delicious and I had mac n cheese, with bacon topping (pushed the boat out, it was my 50th after all) and it was simply devine. The staff must've worked out it was my birthday, not sure if that was due to me sobbing my way through my lunch denying that I could possibly be 50.... and they surprised me with a slice of their delicious cake with a candle, singing happy birthday to me. Just lovely. I have to say, it was a different kind of birthday, but I'd highly recommend spending yours at the Allan Park if you're looking for delicious food, super lovely staff and just a perfect relaxed escape from the odd world outside.

Had lunch their today could not fault the food service and general ambiance. The logs were burning in the stove which was very welcoming as was the proprietor. Certainly would thoroughly recommend

Steak burger: 20/10 Best burger I have had this month. Very nice with chips and the sauce. Definitely will come again!
