Popped in for a drink with a friend. Great service from friendly staff.

This is, without a doubt, the most interesting establishment in the town. Beers are varied and brilliant, love the staff. It’s super simple. Great combo, great prices. Love coming here.

Great pub hidden away a little bit from the main Town Centre streets. Extensive choice of drinks all appearing to be kept in great condition. Very busy but still comfortable with a good friendly buzz about the place. Highly recommended!

Cozy micro pub with ales straight from the cask as well as a small range of craft beer on tap, there's a small range of mainly Belgian bottles and a well considered choice of spirits. Bar billiards and dominos as well as other table top games are available to while away a few hours with friends in this tucked away local and friendly bar.

Horrendous customer service. The owner stood over our dogs aggressively which made them bark, understandably. He then proceeded shout at us and kick our group out because of the barking! Comical.

Great range of beers at fair prices, especially after recent inflation! If only every town had one of these.

A great micropub just outside the center of St Neots. The cask ales rotate frequently. There is also a selection of low alcohol beers and craft drinks. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Always a pleasure to visit.

Great little pub. Popular, but always manage to find somewhere to sit. Welcomes well behaved dogs. Great beer. Chilli nuts are a nice treat. Lovely and clean throughout. Limited opening hours, but that's their perogative.

First time visiting this pub. I was having a nice drink with my dad on Christmas Eve, I decided to show my dad a quick 20 second video on my iPhone and the barman/owner very rudely asked us to turn it down as apparently the noise was travelling the pub (it really wasn’t as I am always very considerate of people). The relatively few number of people in the bar on Christmas Eve were chatting and no one was concerned by us playing this 20 second video. The bar lady who served us was really lovely so no issues there at all, however the sheer and unnecessary rudeness of the barman/ owner was such that we will never step foot in this establishment again and as a St Neots family shall be warning our family and many friends to AVOID!!! I very rarely write negative reviews as I always like to support small local businesses however I am so offended by the bad service we received. Really disappointing!

I love this pub, for me it is the pub with the best drinks in England (that I know of, of course) I have to say that the toilet is the cleanest I have experienced in England. And very good service. Congratulations to the owners!

Possibly one of the best pubs I have ever been too. Quaint and cosy inside, with a vast selection of beer, ale and cider. Towards the back there are several fridges bursting with craft beer. We nabbed a couple of pints and purchased some spicy nuts - which were delicious and cheap! If you are dipping your toe into craft beer or real ale or are a beer connoisseur, this place caters to both. As a bonus it was dog friendly too. We definitely will be back soon.

Lovely pub and owners, with outstanding beers and more than acceptable prices. I come down from Lincoln to visit a friend and this has become a staple stop off for us. Had a couple of hours in there last time and the feel of the place is just very homely. Made the mistake of moving on to The Coach House later on however. Shorts are illegal there! Will be sticking with The Ale Taster from now on.

If you want to see how a pub can be covid secure, this is it. Socially distanced seating, traffic light controlled toilets, tables and seating cleaned between users, good beer and still a pub atmosphere - fantastic

Great micro pub. Family run business who care about their customers. Not only do they have a wide range of local beers, spirits and ciders but are well informed on all. Very clean and hygienic and all around amazing people.

A fantastic proper pub. An amazing range of ales on tap and huge selection of craft ales in the extensive fridges. Great atmosphere and lovely landlord and landlady. I highly recommend a regular visit to this independent pub, even for just for a pint and 3D noughts and crosses.

A fabulous local pub which has an exceptional selection of quality beers and ciders. If I didn't live in a different town I would become a permanent resident.

Can't find too many pubs or bars around which offer a wide variety of sour beers, but this one does the job nicely. I do not live anywhere near St. Neots, but when I'm in town I'll always drop by for a brew. The staff are knowledgeable and the atmosphere is calm.

What a hidden gem. Great selection of bottled and draft beers and a shame I couldn't stay longer. But its on my bookmarked list to return to when in the area again 👍 ps 20% discount on take out 😊
