Thatched House in Wyre

Jeanette and the team at the Thatched did a wonderful job for my father’s wake, although they weren’t able to provide food, they helped us to get a cold buffet set up from a local caterer and Jeanette could not have been more helpful at every step. The pub has an excellent selection of ales and has a traditional and welcoming atmosphere.

Awesome local pub… So much fun, with super friendly bar staff. Great atmosphere. TVs everywhere for all your sport. Even your four legged friends are welcome, offering doggy biscuits… So many different real ales to chose from. And fizz Friday is a must… Highly recommend xxx

Great cask ales and cosy atmosphere

Good old fashioned pub in Poulton town centre. Drinks were served very quickly by attentive bar staff and a good night was had by all our group.

Fantastic place really nice, excellent variety of beers! And staff can’t do enough for you really recommend a visit!

Don't do food but a great pub with real fires and dog friendly. Love it!

Great selection of beers. The only downside is the time it sometimes takes to get served, but i used to work there and know how hard it is to keep everyone happy.

Come here most weeks and my father in law loves it. Friendly staff and lovely landlady who made a real effort on my father in laws birthday with banners and a balloon. Great day time music 60 and 70s music highly recommend a visit great staff n friendly locals

Spent last Friday at leaving do here 7/6/24 good pub, cask beer was really good and the younger staff were great except for the old lady behind the bar, never spoke, never smiled, as miserable of a person I've ever seen, other than that great pub 👍

When here on poulton gala day it was so busy fantastic people staff and the drinks were great. We sat on there roof terrace and it was a sun trap

My visit to the thatched house pub was absolutely brilliant. Fantastic range of lagers, beers and ales to choose from. The staff are amazing and the manager of the pub is fabulous. I cannot fault anything because the pub is the best.

Christmas Eve visit (Sunday) at a little after 1pm and it was very quiet, which was unexpected. However, it began to fill up around an hour later which gave for a better atmosphere. It's over 2 years since we last visited. A nice old pub with decent seating. Quick service at the bar during our time there. Worth a visit if you haven't been in before and it has a lot of regular customers.

Always a warm welcome when you come here with the roaring coal fires. The three cask ales tried were bob on in perfect condition served by some great bar staff. A proper drinkers pub, if you do need some scran you can buy from the Pork shop across the churchyard and consume within. 5 minutes away from the railway station👍🏻

One of the best pubs in Poulton. Called in for a quick pint after the football. Served straight away, plenty of seats, sport on the tv. 👍 Recommend a pint of ‘Flat Cap’
