My second visit here, and both were excellent. Great service, nice ambience and absolutely delicious food. The golden curry is highly recommended.

. . No gracias!

Ok so the Thai green curry was amazing. My friend had the jungle curry which he loved. we demolished two bottles of wine. We visited the restaurant in Strand and the whole atmosphere was really beautiful. I would recommend this. I have heard that the other restaurants have nice views etc. but to be honest as good as the food was I was interested in nothing more than my plate and wine glass hahaha!

I LOVE this place! Lovely restaurant and if you are lucky you will have a table with a view. Waitress was great, came to meet us at the front, take us to the table and we then ordered drinks and food. Both took not much time to come, and the food was amazing! Only issue was I wanted more! Ambiance of the whole restaurant was lovely and I will be returning in the near future. Cost isn't bad for the quality of service and food you get :)

Restaurant was not clean. Service was poor - server was more interested in his mobile phone than his customers. Tables on top of each other - I heard every boring word of the conversation at the next table. Food was well below average - not the clean fresh flavours I was looking for. All in all poor at best, heading towards terrible.

Visited the restaurant for dinner. Suggest make a reservation. We just walked in and were fortunate to get a table for precisely an hour. Food is excellent. Service is super quick. Wonder why they don't offer chopsticks. We were delighted.

Bonne petite surprise que ce restaurant. Nous avons bien mangé. Le seul petit reproche est au niveau du prix payé par rapport à les quantités de nourriture servies.

We chose Thai Square near the South Kensington tube station, after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We had a casual dinner there, and the food was superb. Great quality, very tasty, reasonably priced...definitely worth a visit if in the area.

During my first trip to London we tried this restaurant which is located right across the street from Trafalgher Sqaure. The food was delicious as we ordered an appetitzer samplier which consisted of spring rolls, chicken satays, pork dumplings, and deep fried dumpings. Plus a spicy papaya salad and Pad thai. Without a doubt the food was very good especially if you love Thai Food. The whole lunch was around £60 which was alittle pricy since you can go down the street into china town and get meals for £10. The restaurant was nice and clean but this one particiular server could be alittle nicer. There is no wifi as the rude waitress did explain to me while rolling her eyes. But if your patient that food was worth it.

not that great but always busy. It seems that Thai Square restaurants changed based upon who is in the kitchen. The one just outside South Kensington station is always busy with tourists and thats just it the food is average at best. I don't go here any more. I like Suda but its in Coveant Garden

We went here twice while in london. For my picky 9 year old it was the only place beyond brick lane i saw him eat a full meal. His review was "a really good place. Great pad thai. 5 stars. ". All the food we had was good. Chicken satay, chicken pad thai and green curry. They have a tasty inexpensive wine list too. The food is priced very fair and is affordable too. They even have a lunch special that is 8.96£ which is very good. Happy kid, happy mommy. A win win reataurant. Staff was nice and fast. Will come again

There are a number of Thai Square restaurants in London, but we visited the one near Trafalgar Square. We have been here a number of times and always been happy with the service and the food. This time was no exception, we were greeted warmly, taken directly to a table smartly arranged with a white table cloth and sparkling cutlery, and given the menu. One fault, we were not offered the Pre-theatre fixed price menu which we knew from previous visits was available up to 6.30 pm, but had to ask for it. We chose to eat from this menu and of the two choices we chose the more expensive Ruby variant rather than the cheaper Jade version. The "Ruby" menu - which was very good value and very tasty - has a mixed starter (4 variants), Tamarind Duck, Chicken or Pawn curry, and boiled rice, followed by coconut ice cream. They were delicious.Overall service was excellent, the environment very pleasant and the food great.

We visited here as we have previously been to the Sevenoaks Thai square. They did a similar lunch box. It is a great price for a selection of Thai food. Only disadvantage here was they do not have high chairs for young children. It's quite small inside anyway so not ideal for any young children but the food is good!

Beautiful restaurant, however very average food, not a lot of taste, and the rice came as a solid lump, I guess it was not cooked to order but pre made in a batch. The wine was average and on the expensive side, I have been in the past in the evening and had a much better experience.

Visited here for an early evening meal with a friend. Decent quality food and excellent service provided in a great atmosphere. The price was also pretty decent considering the area. In summary there possibly isn't much to say as it was a good standard restraunt and certainly no complaints but at the same time nothing outstanding.

Stopped in after a long, hard day of sightseeing. Had the aromatic duck appetizer (Peking duck) it was very good with plenty of pancakes. Both had noodle dishes that were very good. Folks at next table had curries and they highly recommended. Would go back.

The service was good and the food excellent. We had a variety of dishes and they were all well-presented, very tasty and appeared to be freshly made. The prawns in particular was some of the nicest I've had (in the UK).The price was a bit of a shocker and only one beer was on offer at nearly £4 for a 330ml bottle. This is probably not excessively priced for London these days but I still think it's taking advantage when the real price is close to about £1 a bottle.

I'm not sure why there's a double listing for this place.Ok, I loved Jane Tira--I mean, loved this place so much that we used it for our informal wedding dinner last year! As locals, we'd been going for years. It was always known for delicious, authentic food; friendly service (though a little slow at peak times); and very reasonable prices (for Soho). The moo ping here? It was to die for. When we visited two weeks ago, we saw some new faces but the decor looked the same--until we saw the menu. Weirdly enough, the branding appears to have been kept intact, and the website is now a bizarre mix of factoids and literal transcription of the menu items. I asked the waitress if Jane Tira was under new management, and she seemed confused; when I asked if this was new ownership, she said yes, but the food (and I quote) "is more better." Reassuring? Not really, as the food had been excellent before.Still, we ordered our 'don't feel like picking' from what we knew had been solid choices in the past, so we'd have an easy comparison. We went for the moo ping and corn cakes to start, then I got tofu pad see euw and my spouse got chicken pad thai. The starters took quite a while, but came nicely presented. Unfortunately, that was as good as it'd get.First sign nothing good was to come: everything was served with lemon wedges. I'm not sure why they couldn't find limes, but big sour Persian lemons are absolutely not the right accompaniment to Thai food (and yes, they were definitely lemons).Corn cakes: claggy, horribly doughy, not enough corn, too thick, not a single hint of kaffir lime leaves--which give the corn cakes their nicely aromatic flavour. Served with tragic bottled sweet sauce rather than the home-made nam chim kai we used to get.Moo ping: cold (!), limp, no grill marks, tough; the dipping sauce tasted like a weird combo of bottled sauce and discordant spices, it should have been nam jim jaew, which had previously been lusciously smoky.Pad thai: okay. uninspiring, with almost too much veg and not enough chicken, which itself was very dry. there didn't appear to be a drop of tamarind in the sauce at all, and certainly no shrimp paste, which made the whole dish taste flat.Pad see euw: I actually had to send this back, which I almost never do, because it was so charred as to be inedible--I'm not talking about 'a few noodles caught at the edges', I'm talking 'all the soy sauce was put into a hot wok and went past caramelisation into actual carbonisation, then more liquids were sloshed on top to loosen it, and all of that became the sauce' levels of nasty. A rookie mistake, and so bitter that it was impossible to swallow. I mentioned this to the server, with my apologies, and he looked a little confused; 'oh, you don't like it?' Look, if I didn't like it, I wouldn't be enough of a jerk to send it back. I said that I suspected the soy sauce had burned and hadn't been added at the right time, or perhaps the chef had been distracted, but he didn't seem overly concerned about the feedback. I asked him to perhaps just bring me tofu pad thai instead. It was as flavourless as the chicken, and the tofu wasn't even crispy. About the only consolation was the amount of toasted peanut, because I couldn't even douse it in lime juice--since I only had a giant wedge of unripe lemon. So run, don't walk, away from this place. Some developer has taken this well-loved Soho staple and turned it into some of the worst attempts at inauthentic Thai we've ever had the misery of eating. At the moment, your best bet is Rosa's a couple streets over, though the moo ping isn't a strong point (the curries, however, are excellent) or, if you want something a touch lighter, Viet Pho at 34 Greek Street, which does a pretty decent pad thai and really, really good Vietnamese food.

Nothing is exceptional in this place but it ain't bad either. Simple, well priced Thai food. Service is ok. Drinks are overpriced.
