Thai Royal in Preston

Food got delivered with cold drinks on top of box in the same bag hardly any food and was cold also missing curry sauce and Thai sauce so had to eat it cold most got put in bin tho. Cost nearly £40 for combo and two drinks. Never again.

Customer service and food quality from the restaurant was great, lady on the phone was very apologetic and helpful with chasing up the delivery driver. Food was still warm when it arrived in fairness but over an hour late was ridiculous from the delivery driver

had the stir fry rice with chicken and mango sticky rice for dessert. would definitely recommend. staff were awesome and friendly.

Food took 2 hours to arrive and not even ordered at peak time. Hard to get through on the phone to speak to someone. Food wasn’t very tasty once arrived. Veg overcooked and chicken tasted like cheap cuts.

Aisha is amazing, smiley welcoming customer service every time i come in. Remembers what i like to order (im fussy) gets it perfect everytime. The food is spot on love the thia green curry with noodles. Everytime im passing i pop in for something to eat.

I hardly ever leave a review, but this food deserves nothing less than zero stars unfortunately I cannot rate that low so I have given it one. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and seafood soup seafood soup broth was full of flavour however the seafood was cheap most likely gone off and texture was horrid and rubbery. The chicken pad thai was nothing short of disappointing lacked flavours and seems to be drenched in sugar. I ordered from here because of the 4.7 stars rating however it seems to be new management has absolutely run this place and quality of food to the ground. I will not be ordering from here ever ever again.

Don't get anything delivered from them. Prices are very high for what you get. Delivery takes minimum 2 hours. And chance of them picking up your call is less than 5%. They used to be great 2 years ago. But now... it's just worth it anymore.

Food was bland. Ordered a dish labeled spicy on menu with chilli as one of the listed ingredients only to have food with absolutely no chilli and only to be told after the fact that I should specify that I want it spicy, which makes no sense. Would not recommend

Terrible service. Tonight, we asked for to change the seafood noodles to beef noodles because the seafood tasted funny (little bit stink). When we asked if we can change the order, no one says anything. However, while we are having food, the owner suddenly came my table and started yelling at me and my friends. She forced us to pay for the seafood noodles. We were trying to explain to her we changed order because of the stinky seafood. But she refused to communicate. She didn’t even listen to us at all and just yelling. I understand she may have lots of pressure. If she can talk to me nicely, I’m happy to pay for it. But her attitude was very unacceptable . Eventually I still paid because I don’t have time for drama - I should not pay though. I have been a very loyal customer for this place many years and bought lots of my friends here. But i won’t come anymore. It’s shame I used like this place.

We ordered seafood Tom yum and pad Thai. But the seafood has stinky smell and we had to change to chicken instead. The lady charged £10 on top of the bill despite we informed them as soon as possible that the food is stinky. The quality of the food is not good, the tasty is ok but ingredients are not fresh.

the order was meant to come between 20-35 and 20-55. at 21-10 the app said the order had been delivered. no food had reached us. we contacted the Thai royal and they said after a few phone calls the ticket had not been put through to the kitchen. very strange. we,finally got the food an over an hour later

Food was said to be delivered with none to be seen and no one had knocked or rang on the door bell (had two missed calls) but still failed to deliver them took half hour to get through to someone. To be lied to and said they tried the door and no one answered and then continued to say it was not their problem if the food was cold. Food took another hour to come arrived cold. Paid 30 pound for one person to have to heat their food up in the microwave to be of average at best taste. I’ve cooked better blindfolded these guys are stealing a living! Avoid!

I ordered in good faith with the delivery timescales stated. As soon as the order was confirmed, the timescales moved. These have now passed and my order has not arrived. The restaurant is not taking calls, they are being cut off. This is the 2nd time this has happened. The last time it arrived cold and 90 minutes late.

Wouldnt call it a restaurant, takeaway I suppose. We were the only customers in, the rest of people were JustEat drivers, freezing cold inside, no heaters, no cutlery, we had to wait for food for over 30 minutes as the lady at the front of the house was cooking food for the deliveries as they had priority. Ordered two starters and two mains everything was served at the same time, full of monosodium glutamate to the point that we decided to leave. Sorry wont be coming again.

The food wasn't good enough, the chicken skewers were burnt black and the curry with fried rice was very salty. Also I didn't select milk tea but I still got a milk bubble tea even though milk wasn't specified in the menu.

Save your money. This place has gone from bad to worse in the last few months, thought that I’d give them another try but disappointing again. The Wok stir fry Sauce is so watered down there was literally no taste, no taste even in the egg fried rice absolute waste of money for nearly a £20 order. Cutting corners loses you customers

Food is always delicious but delivery times are horrendous. It took over 2 hours from the time of ordering to delivery and this isn’t the first time it’s happened.

Terrible experience. The lady was very rude and yelled at me because I asked for cups twice. Told me she was understaffed and she was busy cooking for me while she had an extra 3 people inside the kitchen and my food took no longer than 10 minutes to be made.

The app said it was delivered but took extra 30mins to turn up. We dont mind waiting for the food extra but the app was very misleading

If you love Thai food this is great and brilliant staff. Still brilliant after 5 years and they have now moved across the road to a love little restaurant. If looking for something different or just good Thai food this is the place!

Food arrived cold and missing item. No way to rectify as ordered through UberEats who don't care and the restaurant refer to UberEats. Paid for priority delivery and driver decided to deliver elsewhere first. So, food cold and paid for delivery I didn't get an item of food missing and no refund. If restaurants are going to use Uber and Just eat to get sales then they need to support their customers by taking these companies to task when it goes wrong. Service terrible, food cold.

So disappointed. Not only did the food arrive over an hour late, but the restaurant didn't pick up when I tried to call, which I did multiple times over the hour. The food finally arrived, thankfully still hot which proved that it was made very recently, and therefore could not have been made early enough to deliver when they said it would. Abysmal service

Ordered takeaway from here on JustEat yesterday. Order took over 2 hours to come and was cold by the time it got to us. They forgot one starter and didn't bring the peanut sauce with the satay. Rang up to tell them about the missing starter and they said they'd send it...it never arrived. Appalling service considering it was £45 for 2 meals and what ended up being 1 starter. Asked JustEat for a refund on the missing food. Really gutted because we absolutely love Thai food and would love to return but not sure if we would.

The food was of good quality when delivered,but there was a delay of 20 mins beyond the latest time, and not clear from the app, as shown as delivered before it was! Unable to contact the venue by phone as not in use. We were at the point of giving up and asking for a refund. The saving grace, was the food was good.

Food was delicious but for dishes this expensive, I’d say to lose the £4 delivery fee! One item cost me £17… couldn’t fault the taste though and it arrived piping hot.

Paid extra for 'spicy' egg fried rice, sent normal egg fried rice & put a seasoning on the chips even though they were advertised as plain chips. Spring rolls arrived stone cold although were nice. The chicken in the main dish was horrible, had a funny taste. Quick delivery & nice delivery guy. Used to be good here but won't be ordering again due to the above, unfortunately not worth the money at all. Disappointed.
