This restaurant is a little gem; the starters were delicious, the jungle curry had the perfect amount of heat, the green Thai curry was flavorful, and the banana fritters served for dessert were amazing. Wonderful service, and many thanks for a lovely and memorable evening

Ordered several takeouts from this restaurant and everyone has been outstanding. The food is so fresh and extremely tasty. Having visited Thailand the food here is very authentic. The food has always arrived on time. I made a mistake when ordering one time and they rectified it straight away. Customer service was amazing and very helpful. James who took the call sorted it all out for me. Delivery drivers alway very friendly and polite. I cannot fault this restaurant, always had the best experiences.

Amazing food, the lady who served us was fab! She knew exactly whose dish was whose, so attentive making sure we had drinks and the food was right. Food was so tasty! Best Thai I’ve ever had. From the very first step in to the restaurant I was greeted with a cheerful waiter taking me to my seat. The food was exceptional and really gave me a authentic thai experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy some thai food.

First time trying Thai food and I really enjoyed it; great taste and good service, making it a good birthday night out. Staff were really hard working and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was really good.

To receive a phone call stating that they didn’t want to send any food to us because they didn’t like that I let them know the last time we used them that waiting three hours for food after being told repeatedly that it was on its way was unacceptable. There are two other MUCH nicer Thai places to eat in town so if they are open go to them not these cowboys! Learn to take criticism or your restaurant will have a for sale sign in the window if you carry on treating PAYING customers like that!

Fantastic Thai food, delivered quickly. We had the green chicken curry and a yellow curry, and were really impressed. Spices / heat were not toned down, zingy, authentic and really good. Would highly recommend!

Really nice food, a real hidden gem in a great area of cleethorpes. Friendly and accommodating staff, really helpful when helping to choose a meal from the menu. Starters and main cooked perfectly and we weren’t waiting long for our food. Clean and tidy restaurant, will be coming again! Highly recommend anyone coming and giving it a try!

Dropped on this by accident and was well pleased. Authentic Thai cuisine professionally run, good size portions with fresh ingredients. Was spoilt with the selection on the menu. Only small moan was the price of the bottle beer but wouldn't put us off revisiting.

First time trying their take away service. Good choice of Thai food, very tasty curries but Thai fish cakes a little disappointingly overcooked and the chilli sauce an unnatural colour. Otherwise, experience enjoyable, quick and friendly.

Lovely little restaurant. Think the last reviewer must have an axe to grind. The service was fab apart from having difficulty hearing the server as she was mask wearing. The food was fresh and gorgeous, we had set menu A and it was excellent, so much food we couldn’t finish it all. Will definitely visit again!

Waited over 40 minutes for starter (we were the only table in at this point) then after one and half hours still no main course. Gave up waiting for food as almost 10pm so asked for bill which took another 15 minutes and left hungry. When questioned we were told that there were a lot of takeaway orders which took priority. This is very poor way to treat restaurant customers and will certainly not be returning.

The food was great. All things ordered where tasty! The service is quite slow 5-10mins just to get a drink however we wasn’t in any rush.

On a quick visit to see family we ended up eating here. The service was fast and very good. Good cold beer. The food was excellent and not to badly priced. Not finding any Chinese takeaway in the area, that had that 'wow' factor, my wife and I thought to try Thai food for a change. We weren't disappointed. The items selected for our first takeaway were all freshly prepared and beautifully cooked. All the flavours were well-balanced and very tasty. What more could we ask for? And yes, we'll be back!

We ate here last Friday, again the food was very good and great value for money. Bee the waitress was very polite and friendly. We also used their delivery service on Wednesday and that was very prompt.

We love Thai food and tonight we decided to have a takeaway, we ordered menu C from the banquet menu. We asked if it was possible to change the egg fried rice to coconut and pay the extra but they said that this couldn’t be done-I’m not sure why. Then when our meal came they forgot the pad Thai - absolutely rubbish. We tried to contact the restaurant but it was engaged and we couldn’t get through and really what good would it have been if they thought the pad Thai half an hour later once we’d eaten our meal.

Without doubt the Best Thai food I have eaten in this country no fancy stuff simple down to Earth proper Thai food. Service brilliant as usual. Well Done Lek and all your staff excellent.

We stayed in Cleethorpes in mid-November and decided to go out for food rather than stick at the hotel. We're both big fans of thai food so thought we would give this place a go! It was quiet - we were the only customers eating in for the majority of the time but the service was great, the food incredibly tasty. Will definitely be going again if we're back in Cleethorpes!

We had lunch here yesterday, and it was really lovely we can highly recommend the jungle curry! We also had a chicken Phad Thai and Thai frided rice which were very flavoursome. The staff were friendly and polite.

This was a night out with some friends and we tried a variety of food which was all excellent. The lady who served us was very friendly and chatty and took time to explain different dishes and the service was first class.

Growing up in Lincolnshire we went to this restaurant almost every Sunday as a family. I have so many great memories here. The food is incredibly reasonably priced and staff are so lovely. On birthdays they would give us a little key ring from Thailand. They also gave my mum the opportunity to cook in the kitchen to learn how to make some dishes. Excited to visit again soon.

Was recommended to go here what a hidden gem - the food is excellent and they will cook anything for you gluten free - would definitely return - the person who owns this restaurant is a very good hostess

This place is like an old faithful to us and we return here time and time again. Recent visit proved that food is very authentically Thai and is fresh no matter what you order. The other half ordered a chicken Penang and I ordered a chicken stir fry with chillies for myself. Both beautiful and reasonably priced. Staff are very accommodating and will advise if you wish to change the spice factor around in dishes to suit your taste. It's hard to find fault with this hidden gem - everything you could expect and more from a great Thai restaurant.

My son ordered a takeaway for 5 of us for Mother's Day. To begin with my granddaughter popped into the restaurant to pick up a menu but was told to use the one on the website which is a few years old. However we did. We ordered and this was followed up by a phone call saying we were using an old menu (groan). My son had to change the order (which was still incorrect on delivery...where was the prawns dish), and it was considerably more than we were quoted on our initial call? My son was told to collect it after half an hour, so he duly went down and had to wait a further 40 mins after this! The food was okay but everything else I don't think we will use it again....too chaotic for us

Great food from this little restaurant which delivers outstanding flavour. There are 3 Thai restaurants in Cleethorpes and this is by far the best. Excellent red curry and the pad Thai noodles are amazing. The service was friendly and the food arrived in a timely manner. Highly recommended.

I have been going here for the past 6 years, since I moved up north from the south. This place is a little gem hidden in cleethorpes. It offers the best Thai authentic cuisine!

I went with my husband last weekend, and was greeted with a friendly welcome. I had been to several Thai restaurants, and by far this is the best ones! I had ordered the Thai oriental mixed starter for 2, which was fantastic!! For our mains we shared a Thai green chicken curry, with jasmine rice and a beef basil leaves stir fry with fried rice! Absolutely amazing!!!

That is the best Thai food I've ever tried, the taste is amazing and the service is perfect. When my friend ordered more food, the staff just reminded him that should be too much, they didn't want us to waste money and waste food. The staff is so sweet, like my grandma, so comfortable to had food here. Good memories!!!

Been here before but this will sadly be last time. I dont usually check bill too much, but it seemed a bit dear this time so i looked through it. When ordering asked for 2 Tom yum soups, ( they were about £4.50 each), the waitress said chicken or prawn and we said, 'oh a bit of each please'. there was no salt or pik nam pla ( the spicy chilli stuff in a little jar ) on the table so i asked for some.When i checked the bill the soups were £7 each and the salt and pik nam pla was £1.50, ( I have always found them free in most places lol! ) I thought this wrong and queried it but was told that was their price. In a larger group these charges would probably go unnoticed and just be paid.So be aware.2 soups, 2 mains, 2 beers, 2 soft drinks = £42

Mainly have takeaways as the Restaurant isn't really to our liking, but food is good unlike the other Thai Restaurants in the area but still not on par with the City Thai Restaurants.

Went early on a Saturday night after we could not get into other restaurants. OMG what a fantastic meal. There was only one other couple at first in the restaurant but we were later joined by others. It's not the largest of restaurants but the food really was good. I had the soup and a rice noodle dish. My colleague at the spare ribs and a stir fry. A real gem.

Went quite early on a Friday evening. Can't fault food, pretty tasty.However, we were only couple in for over an hour. Decor is a bit basic, and i guess the place does better with take away. The one member of staff was extremely pleasant.

I have been several times with my mum, sisters and their husband and we love it here. I strongly recommended the mixed starter as there is something for everyone. The mains are delicious and just like the food I tasted while on holiday in Cape Panwa. The service is lovely and the ladies are very polite. I would strongly recommended if you like Thai food at great prices.

We know this restaurant well and have been using it for 11 years. However, this evening's visit will not encourage us to return soon.The mixed starters were mixed quality - the pork on toast was definitely burnt. The main course green curry was well below the standard we are used to, although the Penang curry was good. The rice was plate served and, although the Pad Thai was given free of charge, it lacked the expected spice. There was only Singha beer available and no Chang so I had to drink water instead. Service was good. Total bill was only £36 for two of us but I have a feeling that the proprietor was not there doing the cooking - she is good and would not have sent through food as poor as this.

It caters for everyone, if you font like oriental food, there's English food as we'll. there is lots of dish choices and you can eat as much as you want for a very reasonable price

Lovely, flavorsome, substantial food. Well presented dishes and generous sized portions. A meal for two with two starters, two mains, a side of rice and to soft drinks came to less than £30. Friendly staff too.

Thai Green Chicken Curry (with coconut rice) is exceptional! Thai Yellow curry is more spicy than its description states but very good nonetheless. Service is always friendly, fast and polite. We ate here in a party of 4 adults and 4 children. There was something for everyone - bearing in mind that the children were aged from 1 year to 11 years. The food was lovely, with plenty of choice. We would definitely recommend a visit.

The food in this place is just fantastic. It's not the fanciest place in Cleethorpes but if you want to eat some nice food I can't recommend this place enough.

We ordered a meal for four recently and were advised it would be delivered within 45 minutes. Two phone calls ( being told each time it was 5 minutes away ) and almost 2 hours later the meal arrived. On the last phone call we was advised there would be a discount for how late the meal was, the discount turned out to be the £1 delivery charge! We could have gone out for a meal to a restaurant and returned home in the time this took but the lies and the 'discount' will ensure we do not order from them again.

Sorry had high hopes having read reviews but we have visited Thailand 6 years on the run and this is more bog standard Chinese .pad thai stodgy gluey and Tom young gai soup to mild mixed sorter tasted like something from Iceland frozen Filo prawns and bit chicken on a stik with. Small lic toast .the waitress was brill or king very hard and price is very reasonable but for taste n flavour it's no we're near authentic . I have said for years you can't get thai food in the uk yet again proves to be the case the lack o that veg like morning glory an proper thai noodles makes it just bland at best sorry I really wanted to enjoy and wa totally disappointed no fish or crab on menu so it a no from me won't return .

Although the restaurant doesn't look very appealing from the outside, as is often the case the food more than makes up for it. We had a excellent meal, large portions, lovely fresh ingredients with just the right amount of kick. Decided to try this place after walking past many times without a second thought. My wife and I along with my brother/sister-in-law have not had many Thai culinary experiences and my sister-in-law was some what apprehensive.No need, service was excellent, fast, friendly, explained dishes as we were not sure, tasty experience. Two of us ate here recently for the second time, and we really enjoyed the prawn green Thai curry, fresh tasting and very spicey it was nice to be able to have a bottle of beer with the meal, and the service was excellent, even though the place was full

I've eaten here a couple of times now and the food has been consistently good, I've also had take away and when I called the delivery driver was apparently ill but that didn't prevent me getting my meal. The owner delivered it herself this in keeping with what's already been said about nothing being too much trouble.The food is good and authentic and very reasonably priced £20 for a meal for 2 with drinks.One criticism - when I was last there with my girlfriend the place was not busy with only one male diner at the table opposite us and 2 single girls sat at the back. The waiter a young oriental teenager spent his entire time chatting up the girls and sitting with his arm around one of them. It was difficult to get his attention and we felt like we were interrupting him when we asked - absolutely unacceptable. I did mention this to the lovely Thai lady owner but I'm not sure she understood, I think the kid may have been her son.The other solitary diner noticed it also and was not impressed, ditch the kid and let him grope his bird somewhere else, otherwise a lovely place and I will return.

When we arrived at the restuarant we discovered that some of the local lowlife had broken in the previous evening and as they didnt have a telephone number to cancel our booking they decided to open just for us ! It was a freezing cold evening and as the door had been bashed in, they surrounded our table with heaters to ensure we kept warm. They couldnt do enough. The food was really really good and suprisingly inexpensive. In fact given the ammount of electicity used in the heating and the fact they opened just for the 4 of us they would have made a loss. Good food, lovely charming hostess. Try it.

I've been visiting Thai oriental for a while now Nd have never been disappointed..I love their mixed starter, my boyfriend and I always share it when we go! the decor is a little limited and old but I think it adds to the charm of this hidden gem..plus! it's not too pricey and Thai food isn't heavy so it's perfect if you want to go for a meal before you go out on the town etc enjoy!

This restaurant does not look like much from the outside but the food is fantastic. Really authentic Thai food with a good spicy kick! Service can be a little patchy when busy but it's completely worth it for the food. Take away is also great.

The food in this tiny (and sadly,empty) restaurant is delicious. I had the Thai salad starter followed by a duck Matsaman curry,all beautifully served. Cannot understand why the place was empty at 9.15 on a Friday night.
