TGI Fridays - Wembley in Brent

We've been TGI Friday customers for over 30 years now. The place has always prided itself on customer service; being welcomed with a smile, the server introducing themself, saying 'if there's anything you need please just ask'. It was always somewhere you could guarantee exceptional customer service and really lovely staff. Honestly, if it hadn't been for the sign on the door we would not have known it was the same chain. The majority of the staff didn't smile and barely spoke. They all seemed really fed up to be there. Fortunately we had loads of time as it took 20 minutes for our order to be taken (it wasn't busy when we were there - maybe 10-15% full). My son's drink was brought out with the metal bottle cap still on. Not too much of a problem - mistakes happen - but it took a while to catch someone's attention to have it removed. The person who came to sort it did apologise (it wasn't the same person who'd brought it to us) but when we ordered another the same member of staff who'd left the cap on the first time did the same again! When we asked if it could be removed she snatched the bottle off the table and stormed off without a single word. Really, really odd behaviour and not great customer service. (Plus - if you're bringing a glass bottle - either bring a bottle opener or open it before you bring it over...?) The wait for food was loooooong. As I said, it wasn't especially busy. We'd ordered a starter and a main but all of it arrived together. One of the reasons we'd ordered a starter was that we were very hungry and thought that would be a good plan, so we'd have something to start with before the mains arrived. Unfortunately that didn't happen. The food itself was tasty. The menu was very limited (it said 'Event Menu' on the menu so I imagine it was reduced as there was something on at one of the venues?). There were a number of things we liked on there, so that wasn't a problem, but it definitely wasn't the usual TGI Friday menu (so just to be aware of that). But yes, primarily let down by the very un-TGI Friday staff. Politeness and friendliness costs absolutely nothing! We won't be going back to this branch again.

Used to look forward to a trip to TGIs. Had noticed that things were not quite the same over recent visits to various TGIs ( particularly at busier venues) but always gave benefit of doubt to being an unlucky day. When I booked a table, I had asked for a window seat if possible, but was told they were not in use. Within 10 minutes people were sitting at them. I hadn’t noticed that menu significantly changed for events days at Wembley. Then to add to that we were only given half of the available menu to choose from. So not a great choice at all, quite miserable. Portions were small, dips were not nice, and expensive for what we got. Were not given any plates so had to use napkins to put our sharing plates of food on. Children had looked forward to a milk shake, but there weren’t any, so they had water. Not very exciting. Very disappointed, used to look forward to going. This is my personal opinion and experience at Wembley.

Really good service on a busy sports day. Good portions small and super expensive. Bonkers loud atmosphere! Perhaps a bit over crowded but that’s a personal choice.

The food was ok. The table was dirty. The waiter was kind and service minded.

Never in my life have I ever gone out of my way to make a review but damn this place is bad, I enjoy TGis probably been to every location in London and this is by far the worst one, long service when though when I arrived it was empty food took longer than necessary did they have to catch the chickens first? People that came after me received orders/drinks before me bear in mind we had a table for 2 I’m seeing tables for 6 get their stuff earlier. DO BETTER

even if the sandwich was good... the rest was terrible. almost no one shits there and it's a dirty place. the bathroom... if you enter it makes you want to vomit!!!!

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon was served by the manager Sam and waitress didn't get to catch her name but the service was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious will be visiting again soon

My rating is purely to the fact that 2/3 of the dinner was empty, and they told us we have to wait 30' for a table because we don't have a booking.

Came here for a quick lunch on Sat and the food/mocktails were absolutely amazing! Shout out to my bartender Dejean for making me a lovely sweet by choice drink and my waiter Miles for keeping me well looked after!

The Endless Refill takes like washed out cola cans.

I was so in shock I didn’t take a photo. Food came out as normal on how you would expect. We ordered the sesame chicken that comes with chips. Food looked good. I put some vinegar on my chips then suddenly bugs came out of the vinegar!!!! Safe to say I’m put off vinegar for a good while. Waiter was very good about it took my food away and the vinegar immediately and got me a fresh plate within less than a minute then gave me a different vinegar. Which I did not use… in fear 😂 Just a good reminder though that stuff like that should be checked before smothering your chippies.

Really poor service, no cold beers on tap or bottle, had better food in school canteens. Shocking!

I come tgi Fridays Wembley pretty often and each time I come I’ve never been disappointed. Sweet waiters/waitresses that make sure your time here is wonderful and the food always bangs!

Over priced basic service (at best) Don't go!

0 stars if I could. This is the WORST branch ever and I can say this as I’ve been to this branch multiple times in hopes it was just a one off over the years. I’ve been on an event day and a non-event day and the service was worst I’ve ever experienced. The staff don’t care, when we enquired with the manager why are drinks were not at our table 40mins later, she rolled her eyes to her colleague and failed to address our concerns. The person serving us had no clue what they were doing which is why we had to escalate with the manager. When our food finally arrived we had to ask multiple to times to even receive cutlery, sauces and our drinks. Further, not everything we ordered even arrived given we were served a limited menu on event day. The staff spend most of their time chatting amongst themselves like they’re a group of friends catching up not bothering about their customers. Not to mention some of the staff’s attire, which was really inappropriate. Such a shame. Don't bother with the Wembley branch, no customer service of care at all. Just a bunch of school children serving you, they have no clue what they are doing. Worst experience ever.

I visited TGI Fridays as a family after visiting a local event/experience nearby. Afterwards we were all looking forward to eating as we were all past hungry at this point, upon arriving the waiters didn’t seem to be knowing what they were doing or communicating with each other amongst the chaos. I was asked about special requests and or dietary requirements, I asked if I could be seated by a charging socket due to being far from home and having a long journey back with children, in which I would pay for my train by my phone so it was urgent that I needed to be placed by a socket. The waiter agreed, walked off and never came back we saw him walking around looking dazed. After being seated by another waiter we ordered our food and we waited more than 40 minutes for drinks and past an hour for food. We were sat nearby the kitchen so we could see hundreds of orders sitting there on the side with the waiter just walking past not taking any. The only two waiters didn’t appear to know what to take out as was looking puzzled at the order screen. When our food arrived it was incorrect, I had to wait for a waiter to take it back to the kitchen to rectify this. I eventually received the correct food but luke-warm as had been sitting on the side. The menu wasn’t clear for the kids menu as I had a very sad 9 year old when she read the pasta came with cheese and didn’t get the cheese as apparently it was “ an extra”. After the food was rectified and we asked for the cheese upon asking for the bill, they then took ages to bring it, didn’t understand any vouchers or coupons and charged us for food we didn’t eat (totally different from the food that was given wrong earlier ). I’d say just to avoid this place especially if you have a starving family, full of incompetent inexperienced waiters and having to wait more then an hour for food ! Wouldn’t go again.

Restaurant was really busy our waiter was lovely and dressed in a boxing outfit as it was a boxing event,polite young boy came here with my wife and it was an events day and they had limited menu and I really wanted a cocktail that they don’t do on events days but the manger with the bow and blue top said she would do it for us.This was a fantastic experience for me and my wife and I would definitely be returning our waiter name was (erel)

Personal thanks goes out to the incredible staff that dealt with an insanely busy night. Turned up and somehow they seated us, took our order and came back to check everything was all okay despite this place being ABSOLUTELY rammed..thanks so much.

They have changed the menu and the new menu is very expensive and not as tasty either. Maybe something to do with them going into administration. The platter was ok but not worth £28. The mains were also not worth £25. Burger bun seemed like it was bought from tescos plus portion size was small. I've had much better elsewhere for less money. Service was also quite slow and they seemed short staffed. I saw our food had been made but was just sitting there for 10 minutes before being served to us. Also rip off parking, as it was an event day at the stadium, parking was minimum £20!!

Dealt with my allergy issues well. Manager well informed & helpful Not busy but loooong delay getting food from the pass to table (poor workflow management). Had to send one meal back as ruined under hot lamps Staff dealt with this well & courteously ( as did we)

Visited on a match day at Wembley, so the event menu was limited and service probably slower than usual. The food was hot and tasty though.

There was meat in a vegetarian meal and extortionate prices for the quality of food. Poor and slow customer service. Bar staff had an attitude. Avoid

Haven't been to TGI for ages. Nice and friendly server. Good choice of drinks, but found everything a little bit expensive....an old mout cider £7 + . Food tasty....superb chips, but the peas on the kiddies side tasted weird.

Despite pre booking waited 30mins to be seated and only after approaching the manager. Event day menu limited and expensive.

Rarely do I bother with negative reviews, but today's experience was exceptionally shocking. *Prefix: this was a normal enough day, not a stadium event day* We entered just after 6pm, not super busy and we're quickly seated and orders taken promptly - all good so far. We made a point to say we needed to be out before 7pm, this was accepted by the server. It got to quarter to 7 and by that point the restaurant had gotten busier - but that's not our problem as we had long since had our order in. Starters arrived and we made a point to say can we have mains straight away, but we're told they'd not been started yet 'because it was busy' 🤦‍♂️ We reminded her of the earlier conversation but the zero caring continued.. NO apology, just shrugging shoulders. Whilst it wasnt her fault the kitchen was now busy, the lack of attention and attitude towards us customers was a really poor representation of the restaurant and brand. We asked to just cancel the rest of the order and pay but that got a grating response. Begrudgingly upon we paid due to being in a rush, but in hindsight should have asked to speak to the manager - or just walked as the server showed no Interest in even giving us the bill! But we're decent folks so waited.. Would have given zero for service if Google would let you. I'd have expected this rubbish on a stadium event day but if this was going to be a problem, mention at point of seating maybe??!! Advice to management - get some staff who give a toss and instill a culture of respect for good service.

Food was lovely. Although I was sad that the menu was so limited. There wasn't much I was in the mood for, but the food I had was lovely.

Terrible customer service - staff were unwelcoming and rude. Not even a a hello when walked in. Service was not with a smile! Food was average and drinks were flat and warm. Appreciate they were busy due to Taylor Swift but still very poor experience!

I went to TGI Fridays after Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour. The staff were incredible, the drinks were cold, and the food was good. We were seated almost immediately. All staff were working very hard. Our food came out quickly and our server, I believe his name is Milan, was so kind. TGI Fridays went above and beyond. After an incredible night with Taylor, this excellent experience was icing on the cake. Phenomenal!

They were so nice! Their kitchen had closed after the Taylor Swift concert but the staff was so sweet and helpful and took the extra effort to get us food !

Very poor food. Meal had to be returned as it was cold. Fajitas didnt have any bell peppers and tasted bland. I had to go looking for a waiter to take our order and again when I tried to pay. I won't be returning .

My son chose TGIs for his 18th birthday celebration and for results day. I have to say it was a big disappointment. They only opperated an events menu as TS was at Wembley. The food was overpriced and not of a good standard. The plates bought for our shared starters were dirty. Refillable drinks very watered down and could only be got by server who said we had to stick to the same drink. Overall not a good experience and I will not be returning. Should have gone McDonald’s.

Don’t bother on event day. Manufactured wait times to force you to order drinks at the bar. Security are on a weird power trip. No one picks up the phone even though the restaurant isn’t busy. Disappointing and unnecessary.

Excellent food here. The menu is packed with different options for each person. The ribs were tasty with lots of flavour, and the famous Jack Daniel's sauce just makes it 10x better! Although the price has increased tremendously, it was £28, blimey 😳. Also went for the Ultimate Cheese Dipper 🍔, which I must say nearly defeated me 😄. It has two beef patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato,red onions, dill pickle, Fridays™ Burger Mayo, and crispy bacon, topped with Mozzarella Dippers. I must say it was a good burger, but I also added in some Jack Daniel's sauce to make it a little sweeter 😋. Also got a portion of Mac'n'cheese and Fridays Sesame Chicken Strips. The Mac'n'cheese sadly didn't hit the spot. There was too much of a garlic flavour, and nuch less cheese to it. Pretty much a garlic pasta, fine if that was ordered and on the mune, but I wanted Mac'n'cheese. The chicken strips, on the other hand, were super tasty, had Jack Daniel's flavour kick to it, and came with a little salad. Lastly, Miles, who waited our table, was excellent. He was super busy, but he made sure he followed up with what you needed in a speedy, positive, and professional fashion. Top young man 👏🏿 Overall experience was enjoyable, and I would recommend it if you're on the hungry side and want to have a naughty meal too.

Absolutely packed on event day, during a torrential downpour, service was very friendly and efficient. Steak burger and chips was pricey but delicious.

TGIs used to be good. What shame. The service was slow - took 30 minutes to get our drinks, and two of them were wrong. Starters and mains appeared at the same time - except for one main which arrived 15 minutes later. We asked the staff about it, no apology. The loaded skins were greasy and burnt. The chicken fajitas and ribs were burnt and tasteless. Regret coming here..

Took ages to be seated, ages for our order to be taken abc even longer for our mediocre food to arrive. Came on a Wednesday for my daughter’s birthday, she was highly disappointed.

Horrible service, asked 3 times to clean our dirty dishes and glass and no one did. A hair found on one of our drinks and instead of changing it, they just took the hair a d shake it again in front of us. It was a birthday of one of our friends and we had the worse experience ever in a restaurant. An it wasn't even busy, many people just talking

If I could give 0 ⭐️ i would. We went yesterday and we were told that kitchen was closed then to see a waiter handing menus to 4 people that just arrived. The we moved to the bar and bar tender was pulling faces to other clients asking for a drink. Never going there again.

Jeff the manager not giving a really good example for the staff. Just one of the staff members was super good! Even though they were not busy at all we needed to stand up to encourage them to take our money to pay the bill. Never coming back!!!!

Far too unorganised for a restaurant in a busy location at this. Far too noisy - I couldn't hear my wife even with my hearing aids & and additional microphone. Very basic food choice.

One of the worst meals I've had in recent memory. How do you make a cheeseburger disgusting in this day and age? Terrible.

Went to the restaurant after a gig at Wembley. Me and my partner ordered food and drinks. The half rack of ribs only came with three ribs, I explained this to the server who had brought the manager to my table. Who tried to argue with me about the potion size.

We love tgi Fridays so much and they did not let us down before our concert. We came ready but the team was ready here too. Thank you so much for making our day.

Very very expensive, very small portions obviously cooked using a microwave and a vastly reduced menu because we ate outside ! Will not be returning to a TGIFs again.

The two stars are for the lady who took our food order who seemed out of place good! This place is filthy and it’s no exaggeration. The toilets were vile, two were blocked by excrement. There were Tampons on the floor of others really disgusting. As it was a concert day there was a ridiculous queuing system so even if you’ve booked you’ve got to wait in a queue 30 people deep. Then once you get to the front some people make it to the inner queue others are told to wait by the bar by a rude woman. This is even when it’s 15mins past your booking time. The menu is a reduced menu with very few options on it. Then when it turns up it’s nothing like any other TGIs I would say it’s a child portion with burger van quality really below average. Like I’ve said our server was efficient but the lady that bought our food slammed it down so hard half of my husbands chips disappeared onto the floor-not two hoots given. I really wouldn’t touch this place with a barge pole again very very poor.

TRULY HORRENDOUS Worst restaurant experience of my life Were there 17.00-18.00 today 1. Had to wait 15mins to order (no table service!) while they found someone - the disorganisation was crazy 2. Food had been ordered to our table and the staff were so unorganised 3. They insisted we pay BEFORE - we definitely would not have paid if we knew it was going to be like this 4. After placing our order they then told us they didn’t have what we wanted 5. The wrong food was brought to our table 6. No dressing for the substitute food 7. Food was cold by the time it came 8. Got told by the barman to F off when I asked for some lemons - he clearly didn’t want to be there 9. Were told we would be refunded by no one to be seen when we were finished 10. 3 weeks after this experience no follow up!

The atmosphere was amazing and the food was great! Not forgetting the great service from our waiter Luis!

A very frustrating lunchtime visit, after waiting for a drinks order and starters for over 30 minutes, we left. The only member of staff who showed any interest was in the kitchen who delivered the food to the tables on behalf of the waiting staff who just ignored it!!!! As others have mentioned, the cutlery was dirty.

Okay I don't know if there has been changes after covid but TGI 's has been ruined. Firstly the Chicken was amazing and the chips were well. The jack daniel sauce shined! Now the staff. Apart from 1 lady the staff were very lazy and looked unprofessional. One girl had no uniform and was drinking starbucks? What is this.The Drinks appalling seriously how can someone ruin a milkshake? And the cocktails were trash. I had to get a refund. They didn't give us plates, I didn't even have a fork. Seriously TGI 's wembely need to fix up. The shop was clean though and aestheticaly pleasing. oh and in addition It took 25 minutes to do an order that wasn't that big and we were the only ones in the restaurant. In conclusion don't come here. Its trash.

Sesame chicken was gorgeous but the prices were ridiculously expensive! Staff were very disinterested in giving a good service, considering the 'fun looking' atmosphere, we were quite bored and ready to leave. We were given an 'event' menu because we went on a Friday and the exact same meals were more expensive than the rest of the week!

We came in before a concert and it was manic. We were struggling to get service as the waitress for our section had disappeared. But Greece came to our rescue. She was the best server, made sure we had our drinks, our food and that we were happy with everything. If we hadn’t got her we would have walked out to be honest. Thank you Greece.

Took my daughter the day before the 1st Taylor Swift concert. Resturant was quiet and we were seated straight away. Staff were lovely and do helpful BUT my meal arrived 1st then 10 minutes later my daughters arrived it then took another 5 minutes for my daughters wraps to arrive (she ordered fajitas) and a further few minutes for the one side we ordered. The fajitas were beyond bland absolute no flavour and not an ounce of spice and cost £22.50. Cokes were refillable and I ordered a Dr Pepper £3.90 and it was a can! So disappointing and we weren't the only ones who had the problem of being served one meal then waiting for another to arrive

no reason to eat here, simple as that. You could better food pretty much at any other burger joint in the area, starting with the 5 Guys in the same street. 25 pound burgers, they have no business charging these amounts.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Please do not step foot in this place. Food is absolutely disgusting. Services is terrible and the manager is extremely rude! Looks more like a road man, so rude and unprofessional. Plates, cups, knifes and forks were dirty! Stay away.

The food was barely warm, very dry, burnt and not enjoyable at all. We couldn’t finish our food we barely even started it. The staff were extremely rude and did not want to assist us with our complaint to our satisfaction at all. They offered £25 off a £170 bill for food that we did not and could not eat. The service was very slow considering there were more members of staff than there were customers. We come here every year but will not be returning.

We booked a bottomless brunch a month previous to the England game on Sunday. They have just told us 2 days before that it's unavailable. Not good enough

Rugby league match day so it is a busy day. Pre-booked TGI and found it to be about as busy as expected. Things to be aware of; 1. On match/Event days they offer a restricted menu. This is not clear when you book the table and it is very limited, 2. Food quality is very average at best. 3. Food prices are very above average, especially considering the quality. What is worth calling out though was our server - Joao - he was exceptionally good and is singularly responsible for a 2 star not a 1 star review.

Visited here with friends following the Challenge Cup Final so we expected it to be very busy, and it was. However service was quick and our server was very pleasant. Unfortunately the same can't be said for some of the food. My glazed chicken burger was overcooked, dry and had very little glaze. The bun was stale and hard. First time at TGI and I won't be visiting again.
