Tesco Cafe in Hyndburn

Once called in for a spot of lunch after shopping in store, always a friendly greeting from the staff who take the orders. My wife and sister-in-law only wanted chips and gravy with a pot of tea each, I fancied the look of the Shakshuka with eggs, Shakshuka is an easy, healthy meal in Israel and other parts of the Middle East and North Africa. It’s a simple combination of simmering tomatoes, onions, garlic, spices and gently fried or porched eggs. And must it was delicious and spicy, I will certainly be trying it again. Thank you.

Staff polite as always. I only ordered a latte which was fine but the cup was full of little bits of dirt all the way around the cup, these were very small but would come off if you picked at them with your fingers

Call into this cafe after finishing our shopping, and once again the food and service were very good. I had a full breakfast, which consisted of: 2 hash Browns, 2 bacon, 2 toast, sausage, fried egg and baked beans. My wife just fancied chips and gravy and her sister had the cheese and spring onions toasty, all very tasty. Enjoy

Stopped here on the way to National Trust - Gawthorpe Hall. We ordered a Halloumi Burger with a side of fries. The cafe serves nice simple burgers that can be held and eaten in the hand, unlike those pretentious tall burgers. The chips were fantastic with the onion and garlic seasoning.

The staff out front are great , but the chef unfortunately didn’t cook the meat as I politely requested, leaving me very disappointed and bemused as to why they just don’t care about customers being satisfied with the service..??

The re-vamped café is much better the way it’s set out. We sat in the top corner and witnessed many people looking for the toilets which have been re-located during the upgrade. The scampi, chips and fresh peas was served with a slice of lemon (you can’t squeeze a slice of lemon, it should be a wedge) and tartare sauce. Meal was cooked well, chips presented in a small bowl, all very tasty. Total cost £18:00 for2x scampi chips & peas, latte coffee and a diet Coke.

This cafe is absolutely appoling very rude staff very dirty tables most of all got told an xtra 20p for tomato ketchup and began demanding 20p too there until I gave it her awful service awful manners food not cooked proper hard chips frozen fish fingers peas cold what an awful experience one never to be repeated absolutely disgusting and staff so rude in my opinion I realy wouldn't go there bland food just horrible and that's just food staff are worse

Decent little place for breakfast. Good prices. The food is nothing fancy but it’s good value for money.

Noothing special just typical tesco boxed standard food, But nice to relax good coffee while rest of family shop

This cafe is okay I dont really think that it is anything special. It is bright and airy. The food is the sort that you would get in any supermarket cafe. Would not avoid it but would not go out of my way to go.

We visited the cafe because every other cafe in Great Harwood was closed but we were glad we did . We all had two coffees each and it was lovely coffee with very friendly staff . Clean and tidy place .
