Tesco Cafe in Harlow

My treat while out shopping. A chance to have a quick meal at an affordable price. A good chance to leave Mum with a Cuppa, while I do the shopping.

Service is generally friendly. Some disappointment on one particular visit with food handlers also handling cash and not washing their hands, but this seems to have been addressed.

This is a typical supermarket cafe. The welcome was dismal by a staff member who clearly didn't give a fig. The table was clean and tidy and the floor well swept. The coffee was very average and the pastry dry and not very fresh.

I'd say it was the least appetising supermarket cafe. Signage is poor and doesn't advertise the foot available at the counter. Area looks drab and unappealing and food is very very basic and beige. Compared to other supermarket cafe's they are majorly falling behind which is a shame as the cafe is in a prime location.

Always take the grandchildren for lunch here during the school holidays. Good choice of food and the staff are very helpful.
