Tesco Cafe in Babergh

Delicious breakfast...thank you.

Food was not great and gone are the days where the Tesco cafe is cheaper than other cafés

The one the breakfast was very nice but my one the tap water lacked in fluorine concentration

I think this Tesco cafe has some amazing options on its menu. I love the katsu chicken wrap and breakfast sandwich. It's got plenty of seating as well.

Awful. Took absolutely ages in the queue and when the food finally came it was lukewarm. I would've said something, but couldn't bear to wait another age to get food as I needed to eat. We won't bother next time, easier to just buy a sandwich.

Upon arrival at this establishment the cafe looked extremely promising . There were people already sitting down enjoying hot drinks and food after a hard morning shopping. We walked over to the counter and checked out Thier breakfast menu also looking rather impressed at the choice and value. We ordered. the friendly staff took our order and made our drinks. As we went over to find a table we were very impressed the tables and area was very clean and tidy. As We waited on the food we tasted out drinks (two of the most perfect hot chocolates) could of been a bit hotter but all in all very nice. Then came the food. The eggs looked like they had been borrowed off the near by McDonald's hard rubbery and full.of cold grease. The bacon I presume didn't like the frying pan as you can see in the attached images. The toast should of just been left as bread as it would of been warmer. On an up side though the beans and the sausages were top notch. Overall quite a plesent experience. But Tesco as you say every little helps . Have a little rethink to see if your 9 pound breakfast could have a little bit more care and attention. Sort this out and you will be up there with Morrisons.

Lovely staff, very helpful when I was here with two small children. Especial thanks to Alicia who was very kind to my 3 year old!

Ordered and paid for a large breakfast but only received the small one!

Order was not correct, I ordered a big breakfast and received a standard one, Hash brown was very greasy and everything was cold.

Drivers signal was lost. Took alot longer than it should. No doubt picking up another order leaving my food getting cold

The food was delicious & quickly served, it's clean, the staff are friendly & efficient despite quite busy xxx

They forgot my hashbrowns and I paid extra for extra hashbrowns

So 3 people in front of me took 15 mins just to take my order . This is bcos when the person on the till is taking orders , they make all the drinks there and then . Lots of staff about but someone should do the drinks , and someone take the orders . Staff member apologised and friendly , but it always takes ages to order . Then 15 mins to have food delivered to table . Not as good value for money as it used to be , but good quality except for the sauasge. Very cheap .also very very frustrating that’s you can’t swap some items around any longer but sainsburys Morrison etc still let you do so . It’s called customer service . Not that , that is staffs fault.

Egg and bacon brioche was rank, no egg yolk extremely greasy and bland🤢

Paid extra for a slice of bacon but didn’t come with it and no chilli flakes in the avocado! Normally this is banging but today due to the missing items was not it’s normal greatness!

I want a refund on this as was cold and wrong

Staff are friendly. Food is cheap but cheap for a reason. The cooked breakfast is diabolical.... the lunch menu much better though.

Unfortunately the waffle was burnt amd very very hard ...their was no syrup due to it leaking on the bag all over the other food ...was not worth the money atall I've eaten this before from here was lovely today was horrendous I've now not eaten ...the 3 children were happy with their meals .

Eat here most days due to business, Amazing service and lovely food. The staff are so lovely and The service is so quick takes about 5 minutes for food! So underrated ☺️

It was all cold. Ordered Halloumi breakfast and didn’t receive any halloumi. Didn’t receive milkshake.

Great cafe but very slow. Needs a better drink and ordering system as often just to get one coffee you have to queue for 20 minutes. Would be better to have one person take orders and one do drinks and people wait for drinks so the next person can be served.

I like to order from here because you can just tell is properly cook and packed always perfectly... Fresh and hot food🔥and you can add up if you like somthing extra

I advised on the note that I had not received an egg in my previous order so not to forget it (I was gutted about that at the time, when I am hanging it is needed!) and today’s order came with an extra egg, thanks for the great customer service! Did come a little cold but still enjoyed it

Absolutely shockingly slow! Waited over 30 minutes for a brie and cranberry toastie baring in mind there was only 4 people sitting in the cafe. When my food finally arrived I got no apology for the delay! I didn't even get a hello!!! To make matters worse the brie wasn't cooked and was still hard. Absolute joke.

I DID NOT RECEIVE MY ORDER AT ALL!!!!!! I WAITED 2.5 HOURS TO THEN BE TOLD IT HAD BEEN DELIVERED WHEN IT HAD NOT!!!! I WANT A REFUND!

Shocking service. Very unorganised preparation & serving of food. If in a hurry - DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. Wait times are extremely long for very basic meals

This was good, but now awful you wont get what you asked for and just eat wont help you, i ordered a breakfast and received nothing

The food was incredibly late and as such, both the food and hot drinks were completely cold and inedible by the time they reached us. I don't know what the driver was doing, but he was stopped at another address for over half an hour when he was only 7 minutes away. I checked the traffic in the area and it was clear, so I can only assume he went to somewhere else or his home... I want a refund for this purchase, not store credit! Waiting that long for food and still having to pay for something I couldn't eat isn't good enough. Thanks in advance.

This is the 2nd time I've had a breakfast from here & can highly recommend it. Full English for less than £5

Food was great, prefect for a Sunday morning and arrived hot with sauces and cutlery. An iced doughnut was forgotten, but tescos phoned us and sorted the issue. Great customer service, thanks cafe team.

This is a great place for a coffee and an all day breakfast. I go every week for a treat. However occasionally I have asked for a bacon or sausage bloomer sandwich and out came ordinary plain sandwich bread. So make sure you ask if they have in stock, exactly what you ask for before ordering, so no surprises. Wheelchair and disabled friendly. Staff amazing and work so hard to help where they can. Tables set out so that wheelchairs and pushchairs etc aren't blocking the aisles. High chairs available. Lovely atmosphere.

Normally I do not give negative reviews, however I do feel this is deserved. The staff member serving was disinterested and unhelpful. On a shopping visit to Tesco, she firstly said they had no eggs, she was not apologetic or helpful in offering an alternative selection, apparently the machine was not working. She was not interested in bringing food to the table and looked bored. At the end of shopping on returning to the cafe she said they were closed and walked off. I had rated this enterprise highly and recommended it to friends. I will no longer feel that way and will not to recommending the cafe in future.
