Friendly staff, good food, well priced. Food varies from fish and chips to toasted sandwiches to cakes, etc A useful facility and will happily visit again.

Dropped into Tesco cafe, used regularly. Today was interesting. After waiting over 20 minutes for a ham and cheese panini and toastie, about 8 customers in the cafe at this point, still no sign of food and we had finished our drinks. Cancelled the order and was met by Dawn, member since 2005. Argued with me about time waiting for food and was very rude and abrupt. I am a loyal Tesco customer but unfortunately will not use this cafe again. The toilets were a disgrace and not used due to condition and had to go to the store ones. Shame. Full refund given but I made sure that I paid for the coffee.

Arrived at 1735, to then be told "takeaway only". So I said, what time to you shut, the answer, "1800". I was not amused. I'm guessing they didn't want to wash up 2 proper mugs!

Disappointing and expensive!! Atmosphere and decor is very " canteen " like. The cheapest coffee was almost £4 and smallish cup. Cakes and scones were the worst deal, £3 for a tiny bite size cake and £2 for a scone without cream and jam!! They are made in a factory , not home made , and a pack of 4 scones costs £1.75. I only went in there as waiting for my car to have work done. Won't be visiting again !

Always nice food and coffee here. Better than the Bangor one and it's nice and quite away with a better atmosphere from the front door and main shop. We come at least once or twice a month and it's consistent

I am going to compare. This Tesco Cafe is much better than one in Bangor. It has a more cosy atmosphere, and all the fittings are not so worn-out. On day we went it looked they were short staffed but lady which served us still smiled and prepared lovely coffees for us. Food was pleasant and surprisingly good.

Very pleasant staff and good service when I was here. Good choice of very reasonably priced food. Will definitely come again.

Always a pleasure to come here. Super staff, good choices. Decent prices. Nice cozy atmosphere inside too. Warm when you need it to be, cool when that’s what’s needed. Oh and there’s good Wi-Fi and a few power sockets for those who want to work over a coffee. Highly recommended.

Utterly dreadful food over priced and poor service

A sorry affair, but you get what you pay for and supermarket cafés are very cheap! Two stars for having vegan options, but the poor staff seemed very stressed and grumpy, so let's not mention the rest 😄

Nice place to have a quick meal, decent selection of food, some vegetarian options on the menu too. Staff are polite and friendly, prices are reasonable.

Came with friends after 2.5-3 hours driving from West Brom and on the till they said they don't take food orders, they are very busy After 2 minutes one of our friends went to them with bigger order and they accepted it. Prices are too high, at least for Mac and cheese, I can buy at Tesco same for 90p.

Came here with my family before a long 3 hour drive home from our holiday. Waited over half an hour for food. Went up to the lady working behind the till and asked her politely when we could expect the food and she was extremely rude and replied 'dont know'. When the food came the order was wrong and the panini looked awful. Won't be returning

I recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled egg bagel. Got it as take-out with a black coffee. Perfection

Not impressed with the Breakfast !

After an absence of a year I was surprised to discover the only cooked foods available is an all day breakfast, all week. Previously, Sunday lunches and fish & chips etc were on the menu.

Called in on our way back from Breakwater.Dont know the area very well as visiting friends in Valley. Had a coffee and a sandwich which were both very nice served by 2 friendly and helpful staff Dawn and Linda who looking at their badges had worked at Tescos for some years.A big thumbs up to them and a big thumbs up for the coffee and sandwiches oops nearly forgot to give the cake a mention.Tables nice and clean.Well worth my 5* review.

Normally Great Service & Staff. But be careful if you can't have caffeine like me the other day I ordered a coffee as normal but it was a young girl that served me and was not watching and was Unable to drive home but will go back

Not the best but would rather it be a tesco coffee shop like in some places where you can get breakfast and a coffee all run by tescos like it used to be.

Always a nice place to visit with friendly staff and clean seating area. Food is well cooked and nice but only a small menu. They also offer a discount on hot drinks if you bring your own travel mug😊

Absolutely awful!, Cold food and baked beans that had conjoined as a gooey mass eeeewkkkyyy! Don't biy any of 're cafes food I wouldn't let my guide dog eat the slops that were served here. On the good side I used the bacon as a Frisbee! Cheers Tesco...at least you managed to give me one freeby!!!

Terrible half an hour wait for cooked food when the cafe was only just over a quarter occupied. Did not order food because of this.

I was actually in the Tesco store my again my mobile phone was picked up as passing it off as the cafe not really true probably a very good Kathy try and let me know.

This cafe is situated on the 1st floor with a escalator facility. Public convenience access is adjacent to the entrance which was clean. I ordered a pot of tea and scones. There was one man serving who was friendly when serving. The tea was acceptable and the scone was tasteless, dry and crumbly. The cafe was clean though lacked atmosphere.

I wont be visiting this cafe again, poor service, no staff, & wrong order given to me, staff not listening because the poor woman was on her own teying to do everything. Bad for busness

Cafe has been updated & improved a bit, so we do tend to stop for a cuppa or food if we're shopping in Tesco.
