Tesco Cafe in Manchester

Visited Tesco's cafe cheetemhill Monday the 9/9/24 For breakfast. The food was terrible Bacon cold full of fat and undercooked Sausages must have been the cheapest they could use Same for beans Egg the same all you could taste was cheap oil Toast cold The good point Cup of tea was nice .

Black pudding and bacon was under cooked! Literally felt like I could throw up when I bit into the black pudding

weve just been in today and I thiught they gave me a dirty plate, but no it was my pasta meal, i think they gave me left overs as it was that small it wasnt a portion, i can understand why the cafe is so empty

this has to be the worst tescos store I have ever been to! it’s absolutely shocking! the place is filthy.. the staff are the rudest I have ever encountered especially the self check out and customer service desk. a few staff smell horrendously of body odour. actually saw the self service chinese lady shoving biscuits in her mouth while serving. then there’s the toilets! if you don’t want to catch a disease stay clear!! pure filth… then the parking lot! wow.. I know it’s a filthy area but when the majority drive expensive cars youd think they would know how to use bins!! no wonder the council have left the area in squalor, and won’t invest. it’s like a 3rd world country. nobody knows how to park or clean up after them selfs. vile disgusting place.. have some pride and sort your store out, and the locals need a good shack too.. clean your rubbish up.. and learn how to park Properly instead of dumping your cars where ever you fancy!

The delivery man was really.polite and the food was good.

Paid £10 something for a big breakfast …disgusting eggs hard and everything cold… lost our custom

one item was missing from the order, (the ham and cheese toastie) with no explanation, and most of the tea was spilt because the top was not secured.

The tamper proof seals were broken and the food tasted odd. Didn't even finish it.

one third of the order is missing, no seasoned fries and no tea, totalling five pounds thirty pence, not good enough.

I ordered and paid for two extra sausages but only received one

Pretty delicious. However big breakfast + 2 extra sausages was not massively filling. Will order again but get extra everything. Pitty it's missing mushrooms and or tomatoes!

The cafe gave me an extra couple of items as it took nearly an hour to get here..so thanks! Plus, it was more of a driver issue rather than the cafe I'm almost certain.

I'VE enjoyed Tescos breakfast before but this time everything was way too greasy, greasier than normal.

They used to give mustard and ketchup but looks like they are cheapening on the sauces now so I didn't enjoy the breakfast as a result.

We’ve often ordered the ultimate breakfast bap from here. They are tasty and huge. We had friends over and had no hesitation in wanting to order from here. However, we were extremely disappointed to have not one of our baps, but two missing from our order. How on Earth can you mess an order up that much?? We aren’t talking about missing a drink off or a sachet of tomato sauce but an entire TWO meals! Tried to come onto JustEat to find a number to ring to complain. Couldn’t find one. Instead I have submitted a request for a refund. Really disappointed. The real icing on the depressing cake was watching our guest tuck into his delicious ultimate bap. The only one that turned up, but didn’t want our guest to go hungry and share it.

Vegetables were wet so the bread was soggy, also were missing the beans

Second time ordering and the food didn’t arrive, got a phone call off the delivery driver saying he had a flat tire, last time they just never turned up, just eat are useless now I’m having to prove to just eat the food didn’t arrive to get a refund, definitely don’t recommend this cafe as it’s the second time issues have come up ordering from here and won’t be using just eat anymore time for a new app

Always order from here the breakfast baps, who ever did mine today did it perfectly thankyou, the other was fine but the vegetarian sausage didn’t taste if anything not even veggies

I shop in this Tesco store often and find the food well up to standard and often above, the ladies are very attentive and clearly aim to please

toasty was soggy and weird. breakfasts was tiny. was still full after a breakfast with extras and half of a weird toastie. coffee was cold and cup wasnt very full and was expensive. spent 35 for 2 and was still hungry.

Half food was missing ,told driver he was polite and said he'd bring the rest....45mins later waiting for cold drinks and one small cake from 5 mins down the road is abit rubbish.i doubt it'll come now.

Really lovely breakfast, thought add ons were quite pricey for breakfast, however I really enjoyed it. If you like sausages you may need to add another one, as they are really small, (fat and short).

Well, this is a mixed bag! Food quality.....beautiful. Portion size: Pitiful!! Standard comes with one strip of bacon. I had to pay £1.10 for an additional slice! Same with black pudding and toast. And TOAST!!! Came unbuttered!! WHO THE HECK sells unbuttered toast? Beautiful food, but so many other options out there that are just as good and have a minimum of two bacon. Oh,....and the toast is buttered!!!

After Just Eat messed up by delivering an order from a different restaurant, the lovely lady here sorted everything out for me and got my food delivered where Just Eat failed. Top marks. Can't fault that amazing service. Thanks again!

As i shop from the superstore I have a lunch or breakfast date with my little one at least once or twice every month. The cafe is usually clean on the odd occasion the tables are slightly untidy but quickly cleaned if you mention it. It’s nice and spacious. The cafe is upstairs and there is a lift to the cafe. They are washroom and a baby changing room on the same floor as the cafe. I have given two stars and these are for the tidiness of the cafe and the spacious setting. To start with the ladies who work at the cafe are so unfriendly not once have they ever raised a smile to me or my 2 year old but they seem to do so to a few older folks (who I assume are probably more regular customers) they are always completing forms of some sort on the customer sitting area (table closets to the till) they is a lack of customer service, lack of enthusiasm, a lack of creativity, a lack of diversity (both gender and colour) and lack of going the extra mile that Tesco prides itself on from the team working in the cafe!!! Secondly the menu could do with a little upgrade and new things introduced to it especially the lunch menu. Would be nice to see more fruit and healthier deserts included. More and better healthier choices for kids. Also gluten free options should be considered. Yesterday I had the most soggy Ham and cheese toastie and the worst made Cappuccino. These are basic meals that can be made and presented elegantly and with taste! I have been greatly disappointed with a lack of mini entertainment for the little ones e.g colouring/ drawing books and crayons to keep the little ones busy while waiting for orders. The cafe is there to more or less show case Tesco’s products and unfortunately this particular Tesco is falling short on taking advantage of the cafes potential to promote its own products. Get rid or re-train the two regular ladies working in the cafe and let the manager come up with a better Cafe!

For what it was, we had a very good Breakfast. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, good value, well presented and reasonable taste. In fact I had a better offering given to me than I have in many other places, despite those places claiming their ingredients were all locally sourced (implying something other than shop bought). I chose to have the items individually priced which was fine other then I chose a Vegan sausage simply because I was fed up the usual rubbish 'Pork' sausage from many establishments, to find Tesco's Vegan was as just as bad, if not worse. However, apart from the sausage, the rest was really quite good and the Coffee far better than I had expected, so much so I had a second cup. All in all a better experience than many Island Cafes can manage.

The seating area is a bit rubbish as you feel like you are sat on the couch at home and not in a cafe

Nice cafe, food is ok. But when I visit I feel like I am interrupting staff, so much so I don’t want to sit in any more.

The café is ok and the food range is ok and the staff are nice.
