Fantastic restaurant right next to the lovely park, Stanborough Park. Staff were attentive, friendly, and relaxed. Pizzas have to be the best pizzas outside Italy. Definitely recommended.

Firstly the staff. Put yourselves in their hands and listen to the advise they give. Amazinginly friendly and very very hyginec. We could see the cooks cleaning after every plate was delivered. Tge food was plentyfull and soo good. Lots of tastes and textures. I left feeling very comtent.. The room itself could do with some mood lighting. It would compliment the rest of the experience. Was good value for money and will be visiting again soon. Well Done To the whole team.

The food is so nice and really gives off an Italian homemade cuisine vibe. Tastes amazing with the right texture, and you get good value and quantity for price. Will definitely be visiting again.

Went to eat here family of 6 with two younger children to arrive and be told no pizza available which the younger ones we’re really looking forward too no pre warning from the restaurant just told on arrival really disappointed and unprofessional

The food was amazing and the staff were lovely and welcoming, I had the steak which was one of the best I have ever had with calamari for starters which were also full of flavour and delicious. This restaurant deserves 5+ stars for the lovely and amazing staff and also to the chef for making delicious food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be returning. The best food I have ever had.

We had a private party so the food wasn't everything that would usually appear on the menu. The food was very well made and prepared and tasted delicious. The pizzas (which are on the menu) were good. For me the beer selection isn't great (unless they only had certain ones for the function). The wine was nice enough. I would return for the food more than the alcohol. If you're in the area you should give it a try

A lovely Italian restaurant overlooking a lake with swans and boats. Appears to be very popular, and the food did not disappoint. Staff are fantastic providing excellent service with a smile! Carpark is available onsite, but remember to register when placing your order.

I went with a group of Badminton club friends a d ordered a Fillet steak, which was nice apart for a piece of hard plastic which I bit into. I advised the waitress lady who just said how unusual it was and took it to the chef who suggested it was a piece of a plastic box. The waitress didn't even apologise until I was leaving when I told her that an apology would be appropriate!

Our favourite restaurant. The food is always good, freshly cooked and delicious. This is not a chain restaurant where everything is preprepared and reheated. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Their ‘best restaurant’ award is very well deserved. Thank you Vince and everyone at Terranova.

The food was absolutely delicious. i had the calamari starter with a lamb cutlet main, and my wife had the minestrone soup starter and the bolognese, very friendly staff, and good service. We visited for a birthday party, and the owners were very accommodating. There was some confusion when it came to splitting the bills, but overall, we would recommend visiting the restaurant for some really good food.

Went for my daughter’s birthday. 25 of us and we had great tasting food, with excellent service. The food for every one of us came out at the same time and so so delicious. Thank you to the staff and Mr Terranova for hosting us. Will definitely be back. 👏👏👏

This is a little spot of heaven! Service is amazing, lovely lady served us and even joked and laughed with my son! She made the experience that more amazing! The food is 10/10, pizza is amazing! Garlic prawns will make you wanna smack yo mama! All in all this restaurant has become my new little favourite place!

Gem of a restaurant. Proper Italian food with great service and ambient. Will happily drive 15mins to eat here as nothing comes close to this in St Albans. The scallopa milanese is a favourite!

Four of us eat dinner on a Tuesday evening. The service was warm, friendly and efficient. The food was very good. I had prawns followed by liver and finished with apple pie. All the food was very tasty. Good value for money in bright pleasant surroundings with on site parking.

Such wonderful, warm and friendly staff. It’s such a gem here in WGC. From the views across the lake, to the absolutely delicious food. The pasta is top notch and such good value for money. Highly recommend. My daughter loved the desert and all the lovely lollypops!

Just came back from there. Been before and food bern b good. This time was not. I ate some seafood salad. Was so vinagree and oily. Do have back to waiter saying could not eat explained why. . Said did not want anything else as had done of husbands and grandkids pizza Yet no apologises and still got charged. Disgraceful.

We held a 70th birthday lunch at Terranova in May taking over the whole restaurant. We chose Terranova as we have dined there for over 20 years and always enjoyed our meals. On this special occasion Vince and his team did us proud with absolutely delicious food in a really great atmosphere and fantastic service. Brilliant day. Thank you.

This is a really nice Italian restaurant overlooking the lake. We went there with grandparents and children and had a very nice experience. The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. We had various types of dishes between us and were nicely presented and very tasty.

We were 3 adults and 2 children, the children wear treated like valued customers and were asked their opinions and tastes as were the adults. The eldest said he felt like he was eating out on holiday as everyone was so nice and the food was so tasty! We will definitely be returning and can't wait to visit in the summer and have the view of the lake. From the gorgeous fresh bread and butter to start, the prawn main was exceptional and so was the affogato! We wished we had more room to fit more in at the end!!

Lovely family run establishment with great food and reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere and view overlooking the south lake.

Welcomed by the Italian gentleman, very pleasant. Had good expectations. Food was mediocre, not much flavour. Service was not the best, felt food was just plonked down in a hurry, no smiles or check to see ok. Colleague returned her dessert which was watery and falling apart, and had to chase coffee as forgotten. The place was full and many seemed to be regulars, but not somewhere I would personally choose to visit again.

Second time we have visited this restaurant in recent months and we were not disappointed. From the moment you walk in the door you have a welcome feeling and warm atmosphere. Then comes the food which is really good again we cannot fault it! Would definitely recommend for an evening meal at a local friendly restaurant.

We went to the restaurant for a celebration. There was 34 of us all having different things. They were wonderful and the food was gorgeous. The view was also wonderful. Thoroughly recommend.

Ordered a pizza and calzone tonight for takeaway. Very mediocre, especially the Calzone which was very sparse on filling, stodgy and underbaked. Had been looking forward to trying for a while but probably won't again

Lovely restaurant with fantastic food amd very friendly people working there. The wine went down very well and they even brought out a cake for my mum's birthday. The views across the lake are lovely and serene. If you're using the restaurant, you can park for free in the pay and display parking bays by the restaurant - just remember to give your car registration number to the restaurant staff and they will pop it into their computer for you. Would highly recommend coming here.
