Teifi Waterside Hotel in Pembrokeshire

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Very clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff here are extremely helpful and provide an excellent service. Bar prices and quality of drinks are very good. The restaurant is definitely a highlight. The food is superb with portion sizes well suited to the local farming community so if you have a hearty appetite this is the place for you. The location is very good for some beautifully scenic walks and as a base to explore local coastline beauty spots. We will definitely revisit. Superb.

Nothing to criticise at all. The food was delicious and the beer was spot on! Very friendly personal, nice bar design with much space. Beautiful. I would spend another night here next time.

A lovely hotel with stunning views. A warm welcome. The bedrooms are very large and I love the extra touches of bottled water in the fridge and proper milk for tea and coffee. Welsh cakes etc.. The staff are very helpful and friendly. we had a lovely meal in the restaurant and breakfast this morning is delicious. We will be staying again.

Had previous lovely experience here but todays meal wasn’t the best which was sad as we were celebrating personal successes. My partner had heavily salty pork and my chicken burger was quite bland. Additionally, the coffee we had at the start used sour expired milk and had to be remade.

Lovely service frome new barman from Liverpool....for improvement I would say...open seating in bar into restaurant area....push back the eating tables...lots of space at back...but not enough on bar side...opening up to the super view Just a thought????

Fantastic location, we had a sub with chips and chess garlic bread and onion rings, staff all very polite, friendly and extremely helpful. Perhaps my only fault was the bread was a bit dry, perhaps warm.it up? But everything else tasted as good as it looked.

Fantastic hotel in a great seaside position. Wonderful and helpful staff that cannot do enough for you. The food and drink is excellent with daily specials of the freshest fish. It’s the place to stay!

Fri 20 Sept 2024. Very disappointed today. Firstly, we waited nearly 40 mins before we got our meals. Food wasn't up to their usual high standard. Two of us had fish & chips without the batter and the fish was dry and hard although the chips were lovely. One had fish with the batter and he said it was over done. One had the steak which was a little on the tough side. The quality of the food I suspect was down to the cooking. I raised this with the two female staff who waited on us and they were very apologetic and offered to take the food back but we decided against that for fear of having to wait another 40 mins. So they offered us free desserts. We didn't bother with the desserts and just had coffee instead. The bill came to over £100 for a very disappointing meal out. The man behind the till said I should have told him before he rung it up but I told him I assumed he already knew because I had already raised the problem. I been here a number of times before and the food and service have been excellent but today was not a good day and I felt embarrassed to have brought my guests here, having highly recommended it to them.

Nice lunch with family, fish and chips was really nice. Fantastic location overlooking the estuary. Good service.

Great place to visit for a beer with a view…

We visit the Sunday Carvery every now and then and always find it delicious. (reviewed previously) We had not been for a while due to holidays etc. We came back today and my goodness, it just gets better. Everything is so fresh and perfectly seasoned. The choice is huge. The service is second to none and always friendly. Thank you for being great and feeding your customers so well. Keep up the amazing work.

Lunch on the terrace. Dog-friendly in parts. Quick service but the app didn't work. Lovely views across the estuary.

Went in once will make it a go to place every time I go cardigan bay

This pub is fabulous. A lovely view over the estuary and the food was great. Lovely staff too. The new hotel rooms thar are being built have amazing views they will be fab when finished.

À great, waterside location with plenty of room outside and a very entertaining boat-hill play area for children. Food was plain but tasty. Service was pretty good, but with a couple of hiccups.

Evening meal was excellent both the hake dish and dressed crab

I recently visited the restaurant and ordered their chicken burger, hoping for a satisfying meal. Unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. Firstly, the bun was incredibly stale, making it difficult to even take a bite without feeling like I was chewing on cardboard. The chicken itself was a major letdown – it was bland and watery, lacking any sort of flavor or proper seasoning. To make matters worse, the onion rings served with the burger were undercooked and soggy, adding to the overall disappointment. Overall, this was one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent chicken burger.

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful spot on the outskirts of St Dogmael's. The food is fantastic, the staff lovely and the view across the river to the sea is gorgeous! Absolutely worth a visit anytime you pass this way.

Appalling Lunch and even worse service. We live 45 mins away and this has been a regular visiting spot since we moved here 3 years ago. Yesterday 4th July we stopped for lunch. We were the first in the restaurant and ordered a crab sub and the minted lamb burger. The burger was bland and tasteless but the crab sub was something else. Full of margarine and minimal crab. I complained at the time of paying but nothing was said. The sullen and miserable bar staff even had the nerve to check I wasn't leaving without paying as I went to my car to get my credit card. Will not be going back ever. £47 for the "privilege" of eating some truly poor quality food. You pays your money and takes your choice.

Beautiful location on an inlet of the sea. The food was good. Unfortunately we had very noisy guests at our table next to us. Other guests complained about this, after which the waiter (successfully) asked them to be quieter.

Recently had an evening meal at the beautifully situated Waterside. Ordered the house fish and chips. Lovely fish, disappointed with the chips. From the menu description I thought they would be more like wedgies and not the thin ones I was presented with. Friendly and attentive staff.

I great view, good food, and a good selection of Beers

On first arrival. Lovely views. Walked into the pub. Looked lovely. First impressions i was going to return for an evening meal. But after having breakfast. Safe to say, i wouldn't return. Just the run of the mill bland breakfast. It's disappointing as this made me feel if you can't cook a good breakfast. There's no chance of a nice cooked meal.

Honestly had the best beef dinner ever. Both my wife and I really enjoyed the beef dinner. Everything was cooked to perfection and plenty of everything. Also, good local beer, excellent service and fantastic views. Highly recommended.

This is really not my type of pub- it's too much of a barn but the beer and food were good and the service was friendly and efficient.

We had a lovely weekend at the hotel. Staff were outstanding above and beyond what was required of them. Nothing was too much trouble . The hotel was immaculately clean from bedroom , bathroom to public area .the shower was so good did not want to leave . Food was plentiful and very tasty and of really good quality. The views from the hotel is stunning and beautiful . It's a lovely place to stay. I can't wait to see the extention completed . Thank you for a fantastic weekend.
