Tattu in Manchester

Excellent food, good service and clearly very popular! However … tables packed in to a point that if food is being delivered to an adjacent table, the waiter needs to push past other diners. Loud background music is intrusive and despite getting our table 15 mins late we had an allotted slot that ended as scheduled with no allowance for the late start. Had the tasting menu, which was lovely but they were out of the dessert. All in all, with a bill of £350 …. For 2 (we did have a bottle of champagne) it simply wasn’t worth the money

Always a lovely experience, me and my partner celebrated my birthday tonight at Tattu. Edwin was excellent and really looked after us. Could not fault the service.

My partner and I got engaged here tonight, I genuinely cannot thank the staff enough for completely blindsiding me and going all out for us both, thank you so much. Fantastic restaurant. Absolutely delicious food and excellent staff. We had the Brunch deal which was 3 sharing starters and 2 sharing main courses with jasmine rice and unlimited cocktails for 90 minutes at £55 per head plus service charge. The cocktails were not very strong but they were extremely generous with them and limitless! When we informed them that it was a birthday celebration, they produced a flaming torch and a favour. Shall definitely return!

Exquisite! Restaurant decor transports you to another world. Such attention to detail - petals ascending up the staircase. Impeccable, attentive service. Personal care from the moment of arrival, right up to departing. Each course is a visual delight. The flavours mouth wateringly delicious.

Had a great time in Tattu. We did the Emperor set menu and was quite impressed. Walking in and seeing the crowd gave off the feeling that Tattu is a place to be seen. Moreover, it is also a place where the food is aesthetically pleasing but there is also substance to the flavor. Their dimsum is too beautiful too eat but once you take a bite you will know the taste is as meticulous as it looks. I highly recommend getting it. Service was smooth and with all smiles. Ambience was impressive and did elevate the vibe.

I recently dined at Tattu and had a wonderful experience overall. The food was exceptional, with each dish perfectly complementing the others in flavor and presentation. The timing between courses was spot on, allowing us to fully enjoy each dish without feeling rushed or waiting too long. The atmosphere was just right—stylish, vibrant, and created a great vibe for the evening. The service was attentive and friendly, which added to the positive experience. We chose the Emperor set meal, and while it was absolutely amazing and full of delicious options, one aspect was a bit awkward. Our waiter reminded us several times that it was a lot of food, mentioning it about four times, which made us second-guess our choice initially. In the end, the amount was perfect for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. The only minor issue was the lack of space on the table when the main courses arrived. It felt a little cramped.

Waited 20 minutes to be sat past our table reservation time, left at the bar and never even served. Got to the table and ordered. Everyone’s food arrived apart from 2 people who had to chase 3 waiters and wait 30 minutes for food to come. When explained we were unhappy we were backchatted by the waiter. Zero apology and no service with a smile. Only had two rounds of drinks as there was a lack of service throughout our sitting. Found the staff rude and unwelcoming and will not be going again. Gutted as had high hopes for my 30th birthday.

Food was great, expensive but worth it for a special occasion and memories with the cool gimmicky things they have (dry ice cocktails etc..) Server was a bit abrupt and rushed and seemed reluctant to want to explain anything Lighting was TOO dark (needed to put phone torch on to see what the food looked like, but we were in a booth) , house music was playing for some reason and the picture in the booth was a naked woman facing the other way which was a bit unappealing. Have you ever tried eating wagyu with a woman’s crusty feet looking at you 🤣 Good experience, not worth the money for service and atmosphere but it’s worth it for the one time

Honest feedback from someone who loves food: if your going to this restaurant, your paying for the vibe not the food, we ordered three dishes, the mix Dim sum was 7/10 but the shrimp and veg fried rice was honestly 4/10. Very average food. Great service and atmosphere.

Delicious food- shared some dim sum and small plates, each one so tasty! Edwin’s service was attentive and impeccable. Not a cheap meal but a lovely treat.

We had a great experience at Tattu, enjoyed our food. We had good customer service from Edwin who talked us through the menu. Our only downside was the lack of lighting, I know some people would have liked that though.

This really was an exceptional experience. I just wish we lived in Manchester to come regularly but I’ve already given recommendations to colleagues and friends based in Manchester. Service was brilliant. Atmosphere was really lovely and the food was excellent. I will most certainly be booking again- and will expedite my next trip to Manchester to do so!

Maddy was absolutely amazing as our server. Making us both so comfortable and relaxed :) Of course the food and drink was beautiful as always but Maddy’s service really made the evening just that bit more special. Thank you Maddy!!

Fantastic service, drinks and food! We thought everything was brilliant the only slight critique was that we thought the fried rice and short rib was slightly bland compared to the rest of the show stoppers! We do love some bold flavours though and I can understand that you need to cater for all palettes. I wanted to give a big shoutout to our waiter that night, sadly I didn’t get his name but he mentioned that he was half Italian and half Spanish. Perfect service that would suit any starred venue. Amazing experience at Tattu in Manchester. Edwin was so attentive - he recommended the most amazing dishes. He asked us if we were celebrating a special occasion and it was our 2 year anniversary so we got a lovely surprise at the end of our meal. The staff here are very accommodating and kind. The venue is absolutely stunning! Me and my partner went for the Taste of Autumn menu which was fantastic value for money. They had a mushroom dish that was to die for 😋😋😋 and the sauce in their sticky toffee pudding is incredible. We were served by Giulia who was so lovely and really helpful. The service is as good as the food. I highly recommend giving this place a visit. You won't be disappointed

Such delicious food! Amazing Chinese food with a slightly modern twist. The starters were mouthwatering and the mains extremely tender! The staff is very friendly and professional. They take their job very seriously and they are extremely attentive. The music was a bit too loud.

What a place! The food was stunning, such a mix of flavours that perfectly complimented each other. The portions looked small back was more than enough, I was so full but cleared our plates as this food was not to be wasted. Highly recommend. The black pepper fillet was something else

I’m really glad I finally got to try Tattu out, I’m not a fan of the cuisine so I only popped in for cocktails. Might I say the decor in person is beautiful, no matter the experience, I don’t think you could beat the stunning style of the establishment. The cocktails were great, I always love a themed cocktail so the menu is just perfect for me. I also tried out the Macallan 18 which was really quite something else. The bartender was class, I didn’t catch his name but you can tell he had passion and he was really quite dapper.

Tattu is so cozy, posh and perfect, pocket friendly, ambiance so lush, food taste divine and the staff highly professional. Perfect for intimate birthday parties or lovers date night. Direction might be a bit tricky but just get your car parked and find your way on foot.

Had the most amazing birthday meal at Tattu in Manchester. We were looked after by Ross who was very attentive and helpful when deciding what to order. He made me feel special for my birthday with a candle and birthday fortune cookie! The food is so delicious, probably one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. All the dishes are so full of flavour but not too rich. The decor of the restaurant is also beautiful, perfect for special occasions!

Just enjoyed a fabulous dinner at tattu … The food was excellent, but the star of the evening was Edwin our food advisor for the evening, nothing too much trouble, extremely knowledgable, made a good night even better, much appreciated … will certainly return soon.

Style over substance. A lot of people ordering smoldering drinks in order to take pictures for their Instagram. Service outstanding food very very average. Beef rib spring rolls tasted of nothing while duck fried rice had a huge amount of carrot. Food let the service down

Amazing food and ambience for a night out, Edwin took care of us and service was excellent!

This place is painfully overpriced. Basically paying for a big blossom tree to look at and half decent food. Don’t get me wrong food was decent…ish, but for such an expensive price you’re better off going elsewhere unless you want a nice picture for instagram. My recommendation for this sort of pricing is go your best local Chinese and buy a new tv/sprinkle some crispy onions on said Chinese(chef loves them).

Visited with my boyfriend for his birthday. A bit on the expensive side but overall worth the visit. We went for one of the set menus. Starters were another level delicious! But we were a bit disappointed by the mains. Service overall was very good, our waiter that I believe was the manager also was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the food and really helped us with the menu. My only negative was the staff in the bar downstairs, we were waiting for our table but were happy to have a cocktail 1st. The member of staff wasn’t really engaging at all, looked quite sad and grumpy. We also asked for a recommendation and told him what we liked. He had no clue about the menu and just pointed out at the most “wow” cocktails because of the presentation. All in all a good experience x

INCREDIBLE!! That is all I could say about absolutely everything!!! My partner and I decided to try here and from moment we walked in until we left every staff member we dealt with was amazing! Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and very professional. The lovely blonde lady at the desk when we walked in was so so lovely! Our server Abigail was absolutely brilliant all evening, explaining the menu, offering help with allergies, as well as recommendations! We went for one of their sharing/ tasting menus and OMG!! Absolutely blew me away, every single dish was perfection couldn’t fault anything! The food was also not too much and not too heavy, we had a lot of food but everything was cooked so well. Hats off to the chef for creating such amazing flavours. We were also celebrating our recent engagement which the lovely Abigail arranged a little fortune cookie and sparkler for the occasion which was such a lovely touch!! Highly recommended giving this place a try if you are in Manchester, the venue is absolutely stunning aswell.

Loved everything!had the Tattu signature menu and they accommodate the swap with the wagyu beef and omg....that dish is incredible...loved all the starters the prawns deliciously & lightly crispy... the duck was also tasty... all dishes were unique and tasty definitely felt full!

We were served by Abi, honestly such an amazing experience. She knew the menu off the back of her hand and was so kind giving us recommendations and telling us about the food. Not a place we may normally have visited but the experience was excellent. The food was top notch with the small plate red belly pork being our favourite. I could eat a plate full of it. We were served and waited on by Morgan amazing young man which made our visit even more special. Not cheap but worth a visit for the taste and experience. One small thing big peeve of mine service charge is added which I dont mind paying as we will give a tip, if the full amount is shared between the staff. But hate when paying it that staff only get a small % of that charge and the company take the rest, If you cant split the full amount between your staff don't add it..

Had the BEST time on the atmospheric bar at Tattu! The great Sam made gave us lovely cocktails and laughs!

Stunning surroundings and very decadent food.

The food here was absolutely exceptional and with the addition of our incredible waiter Ross, it really added a personalised touch to our experience! Celebrating an anniversary we were very well looked by Ross and provided with a special dessert at the end as well. We cannot wait to come back.
