First time at this resturant and we had an amazing meal, Edwin really helped pick some amazing choices and was great throughout! Amazing service and food

We came here to celebrate my birthday and the atmosphere and ambience was vibrant. Music was good and loud enough for conversations. Edwin was amazing as he talked us through the menu. Food was tasty and drinks good as well. We had the imperial sunday roast. Presentation was good as well. Definitely recommend.

One dish was cold so had to send back, but fresh dish was provided and price removed from bill. Our server Morgan was friendly and informative.

"The dinner event and venue were perfect. Unfortunately when we tried to take away a lot of leftover food, we were advised that this was not possible because the restaurant did not have takeaway boxes which i thought was very odd. This meant we actually wasted a bit despite paying a substantial amount of money for the meal."

Went to a friend’s Hen in Manchester. We had this booked on Sunday and went for the imperial roast. The portion does not disappoint… you get all the meat stated as well as pak choy and a steamer basket full of pancakes and two bao buns. We shared between two and it was more than enough! So tasty and well worth it! Highly recommended!!!!

We came here for my husband’s birthday. The atmosphere and ambience is bright and vibrant with good music, loud enough to have a conversation. We had the sunday roast vegetarian menu and it was tasty with good portion size. The cocktails are nice too. Definitely recommend to visit this restaurant for a special occasion

After making a reservation, the restaurant keeps in touch via email asking if anyone has any food intolerances and any other requirements. I asked to be seated upstairs near to the tree because it was a special treat for a good friends birthday. When we arrived I left my jacket at reception and we were shown to our table very close to the tree which was a superb spot. Our table was beautifully laid out, and our waiter was very helpful and happy to guide us through the menu, making sure that we would have a lovely dining experience. When the food arrived, we were not disappointed it was absolutely delicious, and we both tried using chopsticks with some degree of success. This is a wonderful place to take the special person you care about for a truly lovely experience.

Wow when I say I was so happy to have had such a wonderful experience dinning at Tattu Manchester , we were seated upstairs where we were served by a wonderful lady called Giulia who sat us at table 30, we ordered the set course menu for £89 and all I can express is how beautifully presented and cooked everything was, definitely will be going back and trying everything else. The raw tuna was exquisite and the beef fillet with the caramel soy dip was divine. I would most definitely be recommending Tattu to friends and family! Especially as Giulia made our evening out a time to remember.

I visited Tattu for a birthday meal. Decor was welcoming but quite clustered sitting restaurant area. The best part of the food was the dragon dessert,… and though the rest of the food had interesting appetite stimulating names, but disappointingly very bland, even the fried rice was no exception sadly. The service dragged endlessly with long waiting times between meals and drinks, and it was surprisingly difficult to catch the attention of a waiter to help with a request…. We were very disappointed!.

Superb experience from the first until the last second. The atmosphere was amazing, the food was tongue stroking good but waiter Morgan gave our diner the last point for a 10 overall.

Last Saturday Morgan was our server and he was amazing, accommodating and overall lovely. He recommended food and how much to get between the 6 of us. Food was delicious. Thank you

Went to tattu at 17:30 on the 23/03/2024 ALL staff was very moody and miserable. Felt like they were rushing us with conversation. Our waiter Jodie or Brodie young girl with dark hair. Was not invested in us at all. We actually asked her if she wanted a tip she said she’s not bothered and “ you can if you want to thats your choice” which was we found very werid. We had egg fried rice that was cold, sticky and almost raw. We complained and they suggested it to be changed but was still exactly the same only just a little hotter. Compared to the Birmingham restaurant the food was completely different Evan though we ordered the same. Customer service at Birmingham was 10/10 also. Defo will NOT be going back to tattu Manchester and would NOT. Recommend. The manager also, was walking around very stuck up and telling off his staff which didn’t show any good companionship between the staff. I don’t usually leave reviews and have never wrote a negative one but that restaurant needs to be aware as the customers do spend a lot of money in there. Thanks.

A little delay getting settled with a toddler chair, but it’s okay. The waiter was kind and detailed. The host that checked our reservation downstairs was extremely pleasant.

Beautiful place! Great atmosphere. All the staff were lovely. Special mention to Tibor who was a delight to speak with. Fav dish was the bao bun. The duck egg and sausage fried rice was top tier.

We went here for an anniversary (Monday evening) and whilst the drinks were nice the food was a let down. You pay a lot of money just for the portion size not to equate and not have a good amount of flavour/seasoning. Service was just okay it did take a long time for the table to be cleared considering the restaurant wasn’t that busy.

Great service from Abby. She made sure to explain the menu and offered her recommendations. My silly friend forgot his credit card and Abbie made sure he did not it leave without it!

Booked this a last minute booking and was really impressed. Upon arrival, staff were really friendly and helpful when taking us to our table. Abbie was amazing, the service she provided was exceptional. My partner had an allergy to nuts and she made sure to provide extra measures to make sure she was looked after. Would definitely come back here as the food was amazing.

We are leaving this review, because will be shame if we not sharing this amazing experience. We can say, our experience from start to the end our visit was a really, really good. We think this restaurant it’s the best restaurant in Manchester. Delicious food, very tasty cocktails, friendly staff with 5 stars service and lovely atmosphere. If you never been there, you need to visit this place!

The food was great but the service really stood out at impeccable. Our server Edwin was very attentive and explained the menu perfectly. His recommendations ended up being the dishes we enjoyed the most and he really made the evening for us! We enjoyed every dish except for the half lobster which was very small and not worth it for the price point. The Szechuan shrimp however, were to die for!

Patience is your virtue. Service can be a little on the slow side BUT the food and the cocktails here are worth the wait. Authentic Chinese with a twist. If you eat with your eyes, Tattu is for you. Some of the best cocktails we have ever had.

First outing to the Manchester restaurant. Different from the Birmingham in looks, but unique and comfortable as expected. The food was outstanding as always. Edwin a fantastic host

Lovely building, nice cocktails but the food is not great. This place is an expensive version of Wagamama in my view, I’m not a fan of not having a dedicated waiter also. We had at 4 different waiters during g our dinner. I suppose this type of place is what people want now, it’s just too fake for me and I’d not visit again

What can I say about Tattu! It was amazing ! Every bit of our food was excellent, the cocktails were perfect. The service was outstanding. We ordered the celestial dragon cocktail, the mid range set menu (was £95 each) and we also added on the sharing duck. We had some more cocktails and a bottle of wine. Everything was perfect! The restaurant its self is beautiful, we were sat by the big blossom tree. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a wonderful evening !

Very polite and friendly staff, great food, great drinks, great ambience, right music volume. It takes alot for me to give 5 stars these days, as alot of Manchester restaurants are just all about the show, Instagramable decor but not quality food, and overly loud music (I.e, 20 Stories & Menagerie..) whom should take notes.. Tattu were patient in waiting for a guest to turn up, seated us in the bar area which was pleasant and adequately lit. Assisted us with the menu, & drinks and were lenient in us staying a little longer over our time, they did not rush us.. :-) And to top it off, they had a beautiful lit up dancing Chinese dragon in celebration of Chinese New year! We all had a beautiful experience - THANK YOU TATTU!

I took my partner here for a late valentine’s meal and it was absolutely incredible. The setting is amazing, the music is great, the whole place has a great vibe. Our waitress Iryna was incredibly attentive, our drinks were never empty, her recommendations were fantastic, and she always had a smile on her face. Shes a credit to the establishment. The food was superb and honestly the tasting menu is superb its great value for money, the selection of red wines is also very good.

I went to Tattu Manchester for a meal with my wife on Feb 16. Overall the ambience was okay. I was offered a long table which was not a major issue but I noticed that another walk-in after is got a smaller table for 2 but I was not too bothered. The food was well presented and tasted nice , the only part of the service I was not happy with was the service charge added to the bill at the end. I asked if this was compulsory so I could have it taken off if not but I was told it’s can’t be removed. It would have been helpful to be aware of this so I could have ordered accordingly. The bill ended up going above my budget because of this. For this reason I do not think I will be back anytime soon but if you like your food pricey and paying for service charge on top of your bill without being aware in advance, this is your perfect spot. Just to add, I can’t fault the food.

Excellent meal. We recommend the Caramelised Beef, Black Cod, Kung Po prawns and the Candy rice. Five star to Edwin for his polite service and lovely manner which made choosing our food easy.

The food was beautiful. We didn't order from the set menu as it was just too much food that would of been wasted by us but would be great for hungry appetites. The food we did have, however, was really very good - cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The atmosphere in here was amazing, really dark and moody, incense was burning but wasn't overpowering - just the right amount to stoke the senses. The decor is an instagrammers dream 😍. Would definitely come back and highly recommend people visit.

Very nice food and well decorated restaurant would highly recommend. But as a pointer it would be nice if the staff were more polite and showed more care towards their job given that you would expect good service when spending nearly £400.

Lovely place and beautiful surrounds.Friendly Staff and Food was gorgeous. A little bit more expensive than normal but worth every penny.Been to the Edinburgh Restaurant both well worth a visit .

Visited here tonight for the first time. The place is beautiful. The staff are awesome and very friendly. Great services. Had the wagu and honestly was amazing. It's our second visit at Tattu and the food is amazing, you will think the small portion is not enough but believe me they are more than enough. Every course we had was well presented and full of flavours. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about each dish and drink on the menu and we never felt rushed between courses. The atmosphere is relaxed. Excellent restaurant that we will be visiting again and would highly recommend to family and friends.

We were welcomed professionally by the friendly host team and told we could have a drink first in the bar. My partner got a beer and I got a grapefruit margarita style cocktail which was divine. We were moved upstairs to the most beautiful private booth and Nav took wonderful care of us from start to finish: he made excellent recommendations on food, and wine and water was always topped up. He also arranged a sparkler and birthday plate for my birthday which made me feel really special. Thanks so much Tattu team!

Rude waiters,over priced food and while we was taking birthday pictures for my friend they kept telling us to move out there way when there was plenty off space,abit rude when we are trying to get you more customers.
