Ordered mixed special kebab which was supposed to be Donner, Chicken & Shish. What I got was Donner & Chicken! If I’d wanted Donner & Chicken, I would have ordered that as it was cheaper. Called them & after the usual pass rounds (& not understanding) got, no this doesn’t have Shish!! When I checked, the item had been made unavailable (good job i got a screenshot though). Food & experience has always been great in the past, but this will be my last ever order from them!!!

I got a half pounder peri peri chicken burger topped with the Turkish package, tasted great, was impressed BUT for over £8 I thought I would have gotten chips. Just a single on it's burger at over £8 is on the high end. My partner got a chicken kebab, again loved the kebab, but at over £9 the portion wasnt great and again we thought it came with chips. We would order again but the just eat menu needs to ge clearer in what you get as we both expected chips but didn't get them.

most of the food was cold, they ignored what was ordered and just made the multiple items same. new owners will not last long with quality and prices like this I won't be going back positive note delivery was on Time and friendly driver.

Would not recommend this and would not go there again.

Just ordered cheese garlic mushrooms and tray of donner , worst donner I,ve had ever super thick slices grissly chewy worst I've had inedible, so I scrapped that go to eat cheese garlic bread awful under done doughy u can taste raw doe not cooked long enough worst 20 quid ever spent ,real bad guys reckon my 7 year lad would of done better job.

Lunchtime order - had regular kebab and chips. Too large (and a bit too expensive) to be classes as regular (total £9.50), I daren't guess how big the large, the XL or the Man Eater kababs are. The shop is shabby inside, a bit off-putting but food tasted alright.

Never had a bad meal, prices are OK, delivery is always prompt, if I go in rather than delivery the place looks clean. Can't fault them.

Absolutely terrible, ordered a simple meal for 3 however once collected and looked at, there was 3 things missing and one was a main. Can't understand why but we won't be going back again. Total waste of time and my partners money. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. SHAMBOLIC TIMEWASTING FOREIGNERS. HOPEFULLY THEY WONT ROB ANYONE ELSE.

Worse food unimaginable, chicken filled was definitely few days old and refried and the fries were definitely refried and stale! The place looks a mess and definitely not cut out to serve food! Avoid at all costs!

Nothing tasy about it, Doesn't even deserve a star, went straight in the bin didn't think you could mess a pizza up with donner, smelt disgusting was fresh donner just straight out a bucket on the oily grill, place is dirty inside aswell needs shutting down

Only place open at 12 that delivers was the onlt reason I went but after that horror meal I be going again, meat was dry and not fresh like they heated up from last night within half an hour stomach ache and stuck on the toilet was not how I planned my Saturday

always good pizzas and the chicken fillet burgers are great

I dont know why there has been some negative reviews of this take away. We ordered the grilled chicken and grilled half chicken with salad and fries. The order arrived a little earlier than expected and it was fresh and hot. The chicken was well seasoned, cooked perfectly, succulent and hot. The fries were crispy and cooked well. We definitely enjoyed our meals and would recommend these dishes.

We ordered a 9' pizza, when it came it was lucky to have measured 7', in fact we did measure it and it was only just 7'!!! After a very unprofessional heated discussion on the phone informing us we were talking rubbish we were told we couldnt have a refund but they would deliver a new one. When the new one came we actually measured it on the doorstep and guess what?? Apparently the pizzas shrink in the oven by over 2 ' and we should be grateful because now we have the equivalent of 14' pizza, obviously not a whizz at mathematics lol. Its being sold as pepperoni delight described as pepperoni, pepperoni and more pepperoni, sadly ours only had five pieces on our pizza, not so good for a "equivalent 14' pizza". AVOID

Brilliant. 6 off us ordered for work and non off us could fault it.

This is by far my worst takeaway ever. Powdered kebab meat (cold). Cold chips. Burnt cold wings (see attached). The flatbread stuck to the pizza box it came in. Did come on time.

Consistently great food, always quick, hot and plenty of it.

Food arrived 20 mins early. The kebab was huge , the meat succulent and the chips piping hot and so fresh . Top marks from us !!!

Found this place to be a little dirty recently

Ordered food and half the order was missing with a refusal to replace missing food. Was disgusting the first time we tried it but gave it another chance; worst mistake I’ve made because the food was even worse the second time. DO NOT GO HERE

Yo estaba empezando a perder la voluntad para llevar un poco con en Darwen. Harto de tiempos de entrega variable y de la calidad de la comida. Pedí un par de veces de Grill Village ahora y la comida siempre es buena y el tiempo de entrega es siempre a las expectativas. Los pinchos son caros (relativamente), pero no te decepcionará. Bueno y consistente. Mucha variedad en el menú, con cosas que no ves en otro lado. Espero que sigan con el buen trabajo.

Prácticamente terminado mi comida y vino directamente a escribir esta crítica. Por lejos la mejor comida para llevar que he tenido. Las fichas de peri peri especiales fueron lo mejor. Todo era magnífico y fue entregado en tiempo y caliente. Ahora se llama village grill. Pedir de nuevo 100%.

Lost track of all the names this place has had over the few years! Also Chicksterz? Whatever, I hope it finds it's identity. The guys there are friendly and the food is always good. Top end though price wise. Struggle to justify 20 quid for 2 kebabs and a garlic bread. Still, if it's better quality and cleaner than the places doing kebabs for three quid and throwing in a free garlic bread (I hope it is) then fair enough.

Try anything from the Grill Village menu , one of the best , diverse menu's for a takeaway and the portions are massive . Everything I have tried is A1 , the Half Chicken meals are enough to feed a family and always arrive promptly and piping hot ! No complaints from us !

Finally it's reopen after so long.. missed you guys.!!! I'm loving the new menu and the new tasty grilled chicken .. keep it up guys

We have had take away delivered and collected food from Tasty village. We have always been very pleased. Was sad to hear of their fire but we hope it will be open again soon.

Great express kebabs and chips. Always friendly. Reasonable prices. Hope it's as good when they reopen after the fire.

They do a large variety of take away from kebabs, pizza, curry, pasta, chicken and burgers. If you want your own version of something, you can just ring them and they will oblige. Red salted chips are gorgeous. On just eat if you have no cash. Always deliver before the stated times. Would recommend.
