Whenever I’ve come here loved the food NEVER had a more DELICIOUS lamb curry in my life then their lamb pakhtoon the flavours harmonise so beautifully i’m truly addicted, me and my bestie have ordered this same curry once a week for atleast five years on the trot.

We have been dining at Kebabish for over 15 years and we were very disappointed with the service and food. We mainly order starters and previously, on a few occasions we have ordered a curry. We always request a hot curry but are given a curry with a very sweet taste. Most recently we once again requested a hot curry but it was sweet. When my husband pointed this out at the till and also stressed that we regularly dine here, the gentleman serving was quite rude and didn’t even consider apologising. We feel customer views don’t really matter at this restaurant so will not be visiting regularly. We have previously held parties here too but not anymore.

Used to be great. Now the standards have dropped

Kebabish in Blackburn really missed the mark with my recent order. I specifically ordered a meal with wedges, but instead, I got fries with my chicken Tika sizzler. No one bothered to inform me that the wedges were out of stock, and it felt like they just decided to do it their own way. I was really disappointed because it ruined my whole meal. Why choose skinny fries without asking me if I was okay with an alternative? It just seemed like pure laziness and cost me a lot in terms of satisfaction. Otherwise, the food is great!

Excellent and would recommend. Placed a booking week earlier for 25 people, deposit of £30 taken over the phone. Arrived five minutes early and seen to our tables on time. Service was great with our orders taken tenetively, there were no mistakes or anything short when the food all came out. No pressure to leave when we were wrapping things up at the end. Overall, I would highly recommend it.

Wow! what can I say about this place it definitely puts blackburn on the map! The mixed grill is just next level the flavors running around my taste bud's was unreal! I was very very full but I felt like I could eat the same meal twice over it was so tasty and satisfying its amazing and that's why I went back the day after to go again. The staff are very welcoming and it's a warm atmosphere 😊 very family friendly and respectful also responsible priced. You will not be disappointed

Been visiting here for quite a while now and honestly it’s the best Indian food in the north of England,the host is excellent and the staff attentive. If you haven’t been here do not pass it by you will regret it ! All dishes are authentic and can be tailored to your taste buds !! Can’t wait to go again !! Great food always spot on. Got the peri peri chickens - full of flavour and cooked exceptionally well. Not dry at all! Ordered a few salaams - the vip ones, the chicken karahi, king prawn, nibaari biryani, naans The best curries you will eat in a restaurant! Can't go wrong with the flavours Only thing is it goes get quite stuffy inside and can be noisy as it is a small restaurant but decorated nicely Also not the most pram/ wheelchair friendly. Steps to go onside with a weird turn at th door and no lift when wanting to sit upstairs

Food is great, however we were rushed, Cramped table with nowhere to put food as hadn’t finished starters before the main arrived, balancing plates, starter plates not removed and no plates provided for the main.

What can I say, being greeted by the very cheerful and helpful Hassan, he took our order and gave us some fantastic recommendations the service was nothing short of Michelin star, this guy really knows his food! The starters and mains were brilliant, and the service second to none. It was more than a dinner out, it was a culinary journey.

Came here for my husband’s birthday, the starters were nice but both our main meals were extremely salty which spoilt it really. I had chicken kharihi and my husband had chicken madras. The staff there are lovely and very hospitable.The place itself was nice too.

While it stands out as one of the better dining options in Blackburn, it may not quite compare to some of the exceptional restaurants you can find a bit further south in Bolton or Manchester. Still, it's a solid choice for a local dining experience.

In my honest opinion, I have to say this this place is mid. Food is average, nothing really special on their menu. Service is atrocious, nothing warm approach from the staff. Never felt so rushed in my life, bringing courses out when I’ve not asked for it too.

Drove 30 mins to pick up a takeout for all the family yet again was lovely and still red hot when I got home taka taka boti masala is one of tastiest curry’s I’ve eaten always get this

Truly awful place to visit. The goofy looking manager can't organise the tables and calls people liars to their face. Very noisy and dirty. The food isn't special just good enough for consumption. I would suggest majority 5* reviews are fake.

I went here on the off chance for a kebab because it was the only place open at the time. The food was so good that I went back the next day for a sit down meal. I will be revisiting very soon

It's probably the best curry iv had anywhere. Highly recommend the Lamb pakhtoon. Be sure to get a side plate of corriander, chopped green chillies and onions.

I hadn’t been to this restaurant since 2007, but today I returned with a group of over 30 people to celebrate my nephew’s birthday. The experience was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to be helpful, patient, and genuinely friendly as they managed our large group’s orders. Despite the number of people, the food arrived quickly, and everything was perfectly timed. Kudos to the hardworking staff – they truly deserve recognition and a raise for their outstanding service.

It was one of the best restaurants I have ever visited, if you want halal fresh but also Indian type food, you should definitely come here to eat. It was also budget-friendly so it'll cost mostly about less that £50 (we were 5 people when I went and it cost £40)

We picked mixed grilled for starters and specifically asked for SPICY chicken Karahi for the main. The starters were nice enough but the main dish was so poor it actually turned out to be sweet instead of spicy and they just threw in some green chilli peppers which didn’t work 😢

Visited the venue afew days ago and all we can say is amazing food, the tarka dhaal is one of the best dishes on the menu by far, customer service was amazing we where served by a young man by the name of Aqib who went out of his way to make sure our table was attended too for everything.

Came for a evening meal with family, Great customer service by Saad, Food came within 15 mins of ordering, Thanks to the kebabish Staff again.

Very disappointed with the quality of food. Pakhtooni karahi was not freshly made. Misala Fish was really sub standard made. Overall a very bad food which is quite expensive as well. Will never come back to this hotel again. Totally waste of money. Council food inspector must check the food quality.

I’m going to start this review with a bit of a rant, which was no fault of the Restaurant. WHY DO PEOPLE NOT KNOW HOW TO BEHAVE IN RESTAURANTS?? We went out for a family meal and had the misfortune to be seated between two groups of people who seemingly had no idea how to control their kids in public. Table 1 had kids screaming, shouting, crying and singing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDAD” at the top of their voices. I’m sure Grandad probably appreciated it, I’m not sure the other 30 people in the restaurant did. To a lesser degree of annoyance the kids on the other table were watching Youtube videos on their phones with the phones on Speaker with the parents just staring cacantly into the distance. Parents, please teach your kids how to behave in public – thank you!! With regards to the restaurant, we’ve been here multiple times before and everything continues to be excellent. Prices are reasonable, portion sizes were much better than last time, service is great and the food is truly excellent. I can heartily recommend this. For a family of 4 you can eat to your heart’s content for £75-£80.

I'm not sure why this restaurant has good reviews. The food was disappointing. I ordered chicken karahi, which was sweet—who makes sweet karahi? The Lahori till naans were soft but fake. I asked for a cold soda and got a warm drink. Prices are as high as restaurants in London, but the customer service is nonexistent. I had to wait an extremely long time for my food and asked the waiter five times for my drink, only to be ignored. I had to go out of my way to catch the attention of another staff member who was just standing there. This is really poor service. A word of advice: if you want to charge high prices and act like a posh restaurant, focus on customer service first and then the quality of your food.

**Disappointing Experience at Kebabish Original** I recently visited Kebabish Original in Blackburn, and my experience was far from satisfactory. We waited for over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was barely warm, suggesting it had been sitting out for some time before being served. When we raised our concerns with the staff, they offered no real solution, simply stating they would “pass on our thoughts.” This dismissive attitude towards customer feedback was quite frustrating. Overall, a poor experience with subpar service. I won’t be returning.

Never had a bad meal here. Everyone's fav is the Karahi chicken. The prices have gone up a lot in the last couple of years so don't visit as much as we used to. Service has always been good and again never had any issues. Don't bother parking right outside the restaurant, there is plenty of parking on the main road and in the car park next to the burger joint.

I travel 40 minutes to come here. This is the best curry ever . And I have had many. Thanks once again…👍😄

We had a lovely welcome when we arrived and were given the option of several table's. My wife had the award winning Chicken tikka sizzler and I ordered the takaka masala.
