We picked mixed grilled for starters and specifically asked for SPICY chicken Karahi for the main. The starters were nice enough but the main dish was so poor it actually turned out to be sweet instead of spicy and they just threw in some green chilli peppers which didn’t work 😢

Another night at Kebabish! Went there tonight for a family meal food was great the place was busy as usual !

Visited the venue afew days ago and all we can say is amazing food, the tarka dhaal is one of the best dishes on the menu by far, customer service was amazing we where served by a young man by the name of Aqib who went out of his way to make sure our table was attended too for everything.

Came for a evening meal with family, Great customer service by Saad, Food came within 15 mins of ordering, Thanks to the kebabish Staff again.

Will never come back to this hotel again. Totally waste of money. Council food inspector must check the food quality.

I’m going to start this review with a bit of a rant, which was no fault of the Restaurant. WHY DO PEOPLE NOT KNOW HOW TO BEHAVE IN RESTAURANTS?? We went out for a family meal and had the misfortune to be seated between two groups of people who seemingly had no idea how to control their kids in public. Table 1 had kids screaming, shouting, crying and singing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDAD” at the top of their voices. I’m sure Grandad probably appreciated it, I’m not sure the other 30 people in the restaurant did. To a lesser degree of annoyance the kids on the other table were watching Youtube videos on their phones with the phones on Speaker with the parents just staring cacantly into the distance. Parents, please teach your kids how to behave in public – thank you!! With regards to the restaurant, we’ve been here multiple times before and everything continues to be excellent. Prices are reasonable, portion sizes were much better than last time, service is great and the food is truly excellent. I can heartily recommend this. For a family of 4 you can eat to your heart’s content for £75-£80.

I'm not sure why this restaurant has good reviews. The food was disappointing. I ordered chicken karahi, which was sweet—who makes sweet karahi? The Lahori till naans were soft but fake. I asked for a cold soda and got a warm drink. Prices are as high as restaurants in London, but the customer service is nonexistent. I had to wait an extremely long time for my food and asked the waiter five times for my drink, only to be ignored. I had to go out of my way to catch the attention of another staff member who was just standing there. This is really poor service. A word of advice: if you want to charge high prices and act like a posh restaurant, focus on customer service first and then the quality of your food.

**Disappointing Experience at Kebabish Original** I recently visited Kebabish Original in Blackburn, and my experience was far from satisfactory. We waited for over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was barely warm, suggesting it had been sitting out for some time before being served. When we raised our concerns with the staff, they offered no real solution, simply stating they would “pass on our thoughts.” This dismissive attitude towards customer feedback was quite frustrating. Overall, a poor experience with subpar service. I won’t be returning.

Never had a bad meal here. Everyone's fav is the Karahi chicken. The prices have gone up a lot in the last couple of years so don't visit as much as we used to. Service has always been good and again never had any issues. Don't bother parking right outside the restaurant, there is plenty of parking on the main road and in the car park next to the burger joint.

I travel 40 minutes to come here. This is the best curry ever . And I have had many. Thanks once again…👍😄

Decent desi food which was tasty and fresh. Got the mixed grill, lamb karahi, achari chicken, masala fish and some other bits. Went with a large family group. Staff are polite and attentive.

We had a lovely welcome when we arrived and were given the option of several table's. My wife had the award winning Chicken tikka sizzler and I ordered the takaka masala. Great service by all staff at kebabish. The owner welcomed us all and made us feel at home. Hasan provided great customer service as well as all of the waiters. Food was 5 star as always. Definitely recommend to anyone. By far the best Indian restaurant for miles around, with many awards and accolades to prove it!

Never let’s you down with some amazing tastes. Had KARAHI GOSHT (lamb) on the bone and it was Alhumdolillah perfect. I will go as far as saying it’s one of the best dishes I have had. We Also got the MIXED STARTERS which were simpunñ

There was seven of us and we enjoyed everything from starters to desserts. It was very busy in there but the food still came out within the hour.

Too busy to give personal attention

I must say the food was excellent. Travelled from approximately 4 hours away and must say the owners of the business (two brothers) introduced themselves and really made us feel at home and were very welcoming. Top people and top food you really cannot go wrong. Definitely go with the mix grill. Definitely will return.

Food was good but not what I expected.we ordered biryani and some grilled food,the kababs were really good but Biryani I can say they don't know atleast the basic biryani or its meaning,They mixed the Lamb curry with normal rice(It doesn't looks like Basmathi rice) and it tasted as bad as itcan be then we have returened that lamb biryani and ordered lamb kheema birayani it was also the same taste.Overall I can say you can try kababs,chops but not Biryani and Paya(lamb leg) curry.

Had a takeaway from here tonight and it was so good. Chicken Tikka Biriyani was so tasty, light fluffy rice and spicy big pieces of chicken tikka. My daughter thinks the chicken korma here is the best she’s had anywhere. All the food was really hot and tasty and the naans are so well made. Husband had the bhindi gosht and the lamb was melt in the mouth. Friendly service just difficult to park nearby.

I've been coming to Kebabish ever since I was a child. Now, it is mine and my husband's place to go if we want a curry in Blackburn. Food is always lovely and fresh, service is good too. We always get the butter chicken that's our go to, and we tend to pick a new curry every time for our seconds to try. We always have enough food left over for the next day as portion sizes are good.

Food is absolutely fantastic. The lamb karai was not over spiced with red chillies but nicely cooked with a good balance of salt, spice keeping a great flavour. Probably the best place for indian cuisine in Lancashire.

I went to this place on the 25th of December, and ordered chicken tikka masala, with chicken seekh kebab, naan & roti with mango lassi. Chicken tikka masala was just okay, next time I will try another dish, chicken seekh kebabs were delicious (highly recommended), roti was too heavy for me as I have never had such roti in India and mango lassi was good in taste. The overall experience was good, in which the service and atmosphere of this place is excellent. This restaurant has recently won some "best restaurant awards"

Food used to be really good but they've gone downhill, more catered to English people now. Curries were very bland.

Been here on multiple occasions. I have to say this is best indian restraunt that i have been in last 5 years running. I have not foind a better one yet. Food is always delicious. Highyly recommend thier mix grill although all the food on menu is delicious. Best place in blackburn, so far i havnt found a better indian/pakistani cuisine restraunt than kebabish. Price is very good as well. Value for money. #1 Indian Restraunt
