Incredibly good, authentic Japanese food. We didn't eat any better in Japan than in Coventry, which is actually unbelievable.

Visited the restaurant with my family for a get together. What an experience it was. We were given a private dining room with no cost. Food was delicious and very attentive service. Can’t wait to go back and try some more items from the menu.

I am a delivery driver and from my experience at this place they are very slow on delivery orders also the staff at the counter are very rude so if you want bad service along with a slow delivery this is the place.

Ordered from here a couple of times now and everytime it’s delicious - the firecracker cauliflower is one of the best things i’ve ever eaten 10/10!!

Me and my family booked a table for one of the kids birthdays. I was unsure to begin with as there didn't seem to be a large eating area however to owner took us upstairs where they have rooms for parties to sit and eat. This restaurant is where the old Vietnamese restaurant used to be and still ahs their decor, this could do with a bit of a spruce up. That's my only complaint. The staff were great and very helpful. The food was cooked and delivered quickly and really is the stand out. The food is great, everything we tried, and it was quite a lot, was all cooked perfectly and tasted great. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants authentic Japanese food. We'll be going back soon!

Excellent food at a great price. In particular the Karaage chicken and miso soup were great. The staff were very nice and happy too.

Well, we visited due to the 4.9 rating review score. It's not quite the experience we had expected. The menu and food is honest but limited the dishes are not quite developed in flavour but the host is very attentive. No alcohol licence.

My partner and I come from Rugby to eat over here! We are never disappointed and always enjoy everything we try. You can tell the team really care about creating amazing food and they should be so proud as the dining experience is fantastic!

Me and my friends have been to Teriyaki multiple times and they never fail to disappoint us every time. The staff are very nice and friendly, environment is very peaceful and clean , the food is very TASTY and they have really nice playlist.

Their teriyaki wings are elite! If you don’t know what to get, just get a large portion of them. Definitely gonna check out more of their menu soon. Highly recommend for a takeaway! Halal too which is great! :D

Everything was great! Vegetarian poke bowl and gyozas were delicious. They were willing to mix and match orders to suit individual tastes. Customer service, can't fault it! Nice to see someone taking your order passionate about their food!

Beautiful space, service was speedy and people super knowledgeable and helpful, recommended several food choices and they were amazing. The food itself was so delicious, I can't wait to come back. The price per portion sizes is really good.

Food was excellent and the service good. The only drawback was the lack of beer, but we coped! Three of us had the poke bowls. Delicious. One had a Bento box which was good too. We'll be back.

Food was very good and have to say really rated the sushi and katsu curry. Good stuff. Bubble tea also very tasty. I really hope they do something about the upstairs seating to japanese it up a bit as this let's it down a little. Will come back and try different food.

We were a group of three and had high expectations because of the great reviews. Unfortunately, those expectations were not met. The food was overall good, but nothing special. The sushi, in particular, was disappointing, it tasted bland and was a bit soggy. The ambiance was also lacking, especially the entrance area, where you have to climb narrow, uninviting stairs to get to the first floor. The service was not great either. We really wonder where all the good reviews are coming from. In our opinion, 4.9 stars is definitely overrated.

Ordered 3 times the same dish in 1 week. The 3time (on a wed) the mix was totally different of the 2 precedent, not corresponding to the description and really basic. A really disappointing experience ! Complaint raised to the app, waiting for a feedback.

The food would have been great however my soup from the ramen noodles had spilt everywhere and soaked all my other food leaving it soggy and cold. I put this down to a delivery driver error however the food could be better wrapped by the take away. Such a shame as the food would have been really nice.

Food and service nothing short of amazing. Very kind staff and great menu with a variety of authentic Japanese dishes. Enjoyed every dish I've had so far, all halal too which I was impressed about. So far tried the Takoyaki, Fried chicken Karaage, grilled chicken Ramen, and Salmon Poke. All pictured accordingly.

As a big sushi lover, I’ve eaten sushi at over 30 places in different countries. So I know how it should be, and this one is really good! Tasty, fresh ingredients. Ordered two times, the only thing I would request next time is to include chopsticks, as I didn’t have any at home and had to eat with my hands both times. 😆 P.S. On Uber Eats/Deliveroo, it’s not stated what the small box mix roll includes. It might be useful to provide some info in case it’s not different every time. However, I eat pretty much all kinds of sushi, and it was a nice little excitement.

So, I ordered delivery. It was quite quick! The drinks with a note from the restaurant were a pleasant surprise. As for food, miso soup - delicious! , giyoza dumplings - delicious! Kimchi - delicious!! Sushi - delicious.Additionally, we had ramen with grilled chicken. It was tasty, but as if there was something missing in the taste. - but each ramen is different, so it was tasty!! I'll try the wings in the evening But they smelled amazing.!! Oh and mochi!!!!! That was high level!!!! Amazing!!! So I can really reccomend this place! :) thank u!

Great, hot food. So many flavours. My favourite was the Bento box.. so much variety and so delicious. Only downer was that 1 of my bubble teas didn’t have boba bubbles in them so 😞 and I think with this weather they should’ve been more colder.. apart form that it was all great ♥️

Malaysian here, came across this humble shop just right beside west orchard shopping mall, food was really great and the boss was so kind and helpful. Even gave my family a signature chicken karaage on the house! Also, it is one of the shop that open til later of the day compare to the shops nearby who closes earlier.

Teriyaki, the Japanese restaurant and bubble tea bar in Coventry, is an absolute hidden gem in the city center. I've had the pleasure of dining here several times, and I can confidently say it's one of the best Japanese food experiences I've had in the United Kingdom. My favorite dishes are the Katsu Chicken Curry and Chicken & Shrimp Udon Noodles. The flavors are authentic, and the portions are generous. The owner is super sweet, welcoming, and has a really good attitude, making each visit feel special. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, which adds to the overall wonderful dining experience. I can't recommend Teriyaki enough. If you're in Coventry, make sure to visit this place for an unforgettable meal! 😍

Great quality of food. Complex flavors, unapologetically burning spicy when neccessary. Especially good the udon of prawns and the surprising spicy chicken and Kimchee bowl. Very recommendable in general.

Amazing to be able to meet up with ex software engineer Mohamed, who runs this with amazing passion and gumption and has got his priorities absolutely correct! Building from best value wonderfully tasting food, and serving with a great attitude and story. Truly inspirational! Ordered through uber eats and was slightly skeptical at first as there were only 50 reviews, thought I'd give it a try anyway. The food was amazing, the price extremely good too especially for sushi. Out of the few places I've tried this was definetly the best and I will be ordering again in the future. 10/10 absolutely perfect

I first tried this place by ordering through Uber Eats, and the food was so good that I decided to visit in person. The experience did not disappoint! The staff are incredibly friendly and even threw in a little extra with my order. The food here is fantastic and definitely worth the money. It's filling and there are plenty of options to choose from. I highly recommend the wings, sushi platter, gyoza, and bao buns – all of them are delicious! It's a small establishment, but they're planning to open a larger indoor space in 6-7 weeks, which is great because the current indoor seating is limited. I wish them all the success and will definitely be coming back!
