Hello Vietnam in Coventry

A short weekend city break started with this very authentic restaurant. Food was great and the prompt services. Surprised there was no additional service charges at all on my bill. Highly recommend.

This was my first time trying a Vietnam resting and eating their food and I enjoyed every bit of it. It was quite affordable also

The pho here is to die for. Hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had. Incredibly flavourful broth layered with spices and fresh toppings. Absolutely sensational.

A very bad experience. It was so rude a waitress to ask us to leave the table 5 minutes after finishing our meals. The lady kept pushing us to free the table while waiting my daughter from washroom. Such a shocking experience and terrible service. We will never come back again.

It really a great experience at HelloVietnam, I ordered a portion of curry pho as recommended by a staff named Thien Y (she is so cute and friendly). The curry pho was really a surprise for me because I didn't expect it to be so delicious. Thank you Thien Y very much, hope you will have a lot of luck and joy in your work and life.

So happy to enjoy Vietnamese foods on my birthday. Its really delicious 🤤. I feel less homesick for my Vietnam thanks to the food here. Staff, Thien Y is so friendly and helpful 😊😊😊

Pho is a typical Hanoi dish. Even if you eat it alone, just having a bowl of pho is enough to warm your heart. I also tried the fried rice and clay pot rice which were delicious and satisfied my craving for Vietnamese food. Fast and good service staff (Thi Y)

Pho tai lan (fried beef with garlic) was amazing, and I really enjoyed it!! Service was quick and friendly. I would reccomend everyone should try it.

The Bún Huế Gà (spicy soup) made us feel unwell. It was bland with no hint of lemongrass, despite the menu stating it was included. It also lacked spice, and we had to add extra chili ourselves. No one checked if the food was satisfactory, even when we left the bowls mostly untouched. Additionally, there was an issue with getting a glass of tap water; it took around 20 minutes and required multiple requests. We considered asking for the soup to be removed from our bill, but my friend felt too ill, and it seemed like more hassle. Her lemonade was overly sweet, with no real lemon flavor. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food, I’d recommend going elsewhere.

They do real Pho here. Authentic, sumptuous. Conveniently located near city shopping mall. For the vietnamese foodies this is a must-go in Coventry.

I was recommended the curry noodles here and they didn't disappoint. The egg coffee was also amazing. I'd definitely come back for more food.

Beautiful restaurant setting with gorgeous decorations. Ordering was quick and efficient, bonus is there is student discount! I ordered the medium rare beef pho. Condiments were aplenty but unfortunately I found the pho broth to be lacking; I prefer a stronger flavour so had to use the condiments much more than I would have liked

I had the House Special Pho which was alright but would have preferred more toppings and the Fresh Ginger tea which was super amazing! My friends had beef fried rice and beef curry and they loved their choices! The service was great with very friendly and accommodating. The quality of food was great regardless! Would like to try other dishes from the menu next time.

Stumbled upon this Vietnamese restaurant by pure chance whilst venturing around Coventry town centre. The place looked quite appealing from the outside. Once inside, we were greeted and given a table without making a reservation. That said, it was late afternoon, and the place was busy enough, so I gathered in the evenings it would be really busy and would advise booking in advance. The restaurant was scrupulously clean, fresh, airy, well decorated in wooded slats, and sturdy wooden tables in cosy booths. The toilets were clean and tidy. The food was lovely. It was presented well. The only negative criticism I can give was that the staff seem very uninterested and not very enthusiastic. Thankfully, it's the quality of the food that is paramount, and in this case, we couldn't fault it. We will come again when next in the area. Let's hope they have more attentive and friendly waiting on staff on shift. Opens daily 11.am - 10.pm, Friday and Saturdays it stays open till 11.pm.

Starters: Summer Rolls, Chicken Wings, Fried Pork Dumplings Mains: Peanut sauce Chicken, Grilled CK Noodles, house special beef pho Ridiculously tasty and filling food on the hottest day of the year highly recommended! Relaxed atmosphere, decorated in such a way as if to add to the vibe. Don't forget to order the vietnamese coffee!

The pork is just so fatty not great for what you pay!

Bad service, Bad foods If you want to waste your money go get try.

We were staying in Coventry on business and quite fancied Asian food. We found this little restaurant on trip advisor and decided to give it a try. What a good decision. The food was splendid, quite the best Vietnamese dishes we have had outright Vietnam! There was a good choice of wine all reasonably priced and cocktails that were better than a large famous cocktail chain nearby. Worth a visit!

Poor service - very unfriendly staff, I didn’t like the food and they didn’t let me return the food either. I’ve never seen a restaurant do this, it’s unacceptable.

Decent food. A little bit too salty for my taste. Recipes are not really 100% traditional, they do have a hint of fussion.

Best Vietnamese food! We are coming here for more than 2 years now and it’s our favourite place in Coventry. My partner always order hot and spicy noodle soup and I order Pho noodle soup with medium rare beef - try, it’s a must! Staff very friendly, the restaurant is extremely clean! I visited many restaurants but their is the most clean I’ve been +10stars, not 5👍 Thank you guys for making this place to be so amazing!

We came in to a very busy city centre to see Motorfest, stopping here for lunch. Very friendly staff and a great selection of Vietnamese food. We both went for pho, which was excellent. With a full bar and Vietnamese beers what’s not to like?

Cosy, family-run vietnamese restaurant conveniently located in Coventry centre, a short walk from the Cathedral and shopping centres. Delicious, authentic food with lots of vegan and vegetarian options (tofu summer rolls were amazing!). Good and fast service and very dedicated and careful staff. They even went out of their way to help me out when I left something important in the restaurant. I would definitely go again!

Additionally, the service fell short, leaving something to be desired in terms of attentiveness and friendliness. For those looking to try something different, I recommend giving their curries a shot. They seem to excel in this department, offering a delightful alternative to their other offerings.

An impromptu trip out with the family was a very pleasant surprise. Service was friendly and very quick. Food was outstanding. We had a selection of starters which were superb and the beef pho was as good as it was in Ho chi min city.

We were looking forward to trying some flavoursome dishes after reading the glowing reviews but our visit to Hello Vietnam left us very disappointed. Unfortunately the dishes were either very bland (rice pot) or spicy without real flavour (curry). Prices higher than expected but I would be willing to pay them if the food was nice. We won't be returning. There are other Vietnamese places in Coventry that are much better.

Never had a bad meal from here. The pho is soothing and comforting. Prices are reasonable. If having as a delivery the food travels well, as noodles and soup are kept separate. My favourite place for lunch or dinner

rubbish never coming back i ordered chicken without bones and they gave me bones and then i ordered a cheesecake and they had it sitting on the counter not giving to me and i noticed that they did much better to brown people and i was white so they are racist never going back.

The driver was rude and unhelpful, as he refused to read or follow the delivery instructions or listen to me when I tried to help him, putting the phone down on me multiple times. This resulted in me standing in the cold for almost half an hour before I was forced to go and find him.

They overcharge for everything on their menu. The prices on their website are cheaper. But of course they charge service fee and delivery fee

Authentic Vietnamese pho and coffee but it’s a bit pricey

It is a cosy, modern Vietnamese restaurant with an authentic atmosphere. The vegan pho was excellent, fresh and full of flavours . The papaya salad was nice and fresh although rather a small portion. The vegan rice dish with vegetables was very dry and bland - there was no sauce or favours. We used the pho broth to help it out, but it was still quite dull.

All Food is delicious especially curry duck. It always presented to high standards. Lovely atmosphere and helpful staff.

We've had most of the stuff on the menu, and it's always really tasty. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and service is fast and polite. I've deducted one star, because the tables and chairs are the stickiest in the world. We have been back a few times since the above review, and the tables and chairs have been cleaned and are no longer sticky 😀 The staff are really friendly and informative and the food is always excellent. Keep up the good work.

Authentic Vietnamese restaurant beautifully decorated with friendly service. The food is great but the portion is less generous than others I've been. Bit pricey too compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in town.

We went to Hello Vietnam for a birthday treat. Fabulous food and fabulous experience . It’s a hidden gem. It’s the best Vietnam’s food I’ve had. Service was really good too. Make sure you try it. You won’t be disappointed .

I've been here twice already since arriving in Coventry for University. Excellent service and food each time and will definitely be back! Very good prices, not too expensive and you get generous portions! Food is amazing and the Tokyo iced tea was so good. Attentive staff and friendly. Student discount too ☺️

I had a wonderful food experience, the food came out quickly and was very hot. The food was seasoned and prepared well. The highlight on the 29 degree Celsius day was the lemonade. It was fantastic.

First visit but won't be my last. Food was excellent and staff very attentive. Small dining area but clean comfortable......Have now visited a few time and working my way through the menu. Not found a dish I didn't like 👍🏻

The food taste so good . I went there once and couldn't stop revisiting, the sea food rice is my favourite. Not forgetting their fresh hibiscus ice tea! The only weakness is the cleanliness that could be improved and lighting in the restaurant.

We always come here because they have really great food. Very authentic and you get so many options that you wish you can try everything. All of their food option is amazingly flavourful even the starters alone. Customer service is excellent, this is very important as it defines how great a restaurant is. The owner is also very warm, helpful, and friendly. Come by and you will definitely keep coming back with your families and friends.
