Taste Restaurant in Merton

Our local Theatre Friends have their Christmas Lunch and Entertainment at The Taste every December. I cannot praise the venue more highly, great food and service and the Management and team are excellent. A perfect show place to promote young folk into a worthwhile career. So very well done.

Great food, great service and a delightful lunch.

Lovely restaurant where food and service come from the catering students at the college. Good food, very sweet service by newbies, amazing value. Enjoyed and been back twice since our first time.

My first experience here it was great.

Taste Restaurant is exceptional value. All the staff, both in the kitchen and front of house are training in catering and hospitality. Therefore it is great to be wined and dined by potential future chefs.

The Taste of things to come! Forget Celebrity Chef, Nigella and Jamie just come dine with me to Taste restaurant (part of Merton College's catering and hospitality department) where friends and I wined and dined on Wednesday 9th March! Ours was an international menu devised and cooked by senior students with waiting and front of house mostly attended to by their level 2 colleague all supervised by experienced qualified tutors and served with a garnish of confidence, competence and courtesy. No shouting sweating and definitely no swearing. So eat your heart out Gordon Ramsay whilst the rest of us go Ready Steady and Book The Taste for fine dining at it's best. Philomena Nolan.

Food is fresh cooked and served by students from the college. Food is to professional standards, service is very attentive. All students are keen to show their skills and friendly.

Great place, it was a pleasure to see how these young people have passion for good food. Very tasty, great atmosphere.

The Taste Restrant is at Leicester College the food is cooked and served by the students. The food is of the highest quality as is the service, I go there regularly and will continue to do so.
