The place is amazing food just on point service was very fast will definitely come again an will definitely recommend anyone coming here should try the food is the best food in town chicken tikka sizzling is the famous food to come here The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes from their extensive menu!

Food took almost an hour to arrive. The order then arrived wrong.

In my opinion, "the best in Atherton " eat in or take away the food is exeptional, great atmosphere and always very helpfull and welcoming, would highly recomend to everyone.

Food overall was OK and served quickly. Staff did try to remedy issue with one of meals. Just put down as bad choice of dish not to be picked again.

Went for a work's Christmas set meal. I thought the price was great for the options included, and very competitive this time of the year. There were 20+ people in our party and my food was served promptly and hot. No pre-ordering either! We quickly received poppadoms and a chutney tray, which was lovely. I ordered the vegetable samosa to start, 2 of which came well presented with a wedge of lemon and some salad which was fresh. For my mains I had king prawn tikka shashlik. This was served on a hot sizzle plate with wedges of onions and peppers, and a side serving of a medium curry sauce. It tasted immense. Delicious char on the prawns, which were large (6) and juicy. The marinade did not overpower their natural flavour and the curry sauce was the perfect accompaniment. Included in the price was unlimited rice and chips, which was served on large platters in the middle of our tables. There was plenty for everyone and some leftovers. I look forward to coming back and trying some of the other options, as everyone's food looked and smelt delicious too!! Also, a lovely pint of Cobra was had.

Good range, lots of choices. They were busy but still found us a seat. Sister is gluten free and seemed happy enough.

I was part of a party of 16 last night . Absolutely delicious food , attentive yet not intrusive service and a willingness to adapt to requests. A really nice atmosphere in the restaurant and I would throughly recommend.

The food wow 😍😍😍 and staff can't do enough for you its amazing, the dishes you can customise and same with the rice they will let you add to it for example they have Garlic rice and they have onion rice but I asked for both garlic and onion and they was happy to do that for me and let me tell you it was soooooo delicious 😍😍

Wow!! This is the best Indian I have been in for a while and ive experienced Rusholme, and Cheetham hill, not only great wine, but the staff are so great at recommending items on the menu. We did have a favourite but it's now TAMARIND TABLE. Will be returning as much as we can not only great food but reasonable price, these food magical places do exist!!!

Absolute little hidden gem of Atherton is the Tamarind Table. Been a couple of times in the last 6 months and both occasions were amazing. Staff are ever so helpful and efficient, food arrives in good time and is delicious! Fantastic way to end an evening having a fee drunks with some good friends! 5***** establishment!!

The best Indian restaurant in Atherton! I'm newly diagnosed lactose intolerant and was so worried about going for a curry as I thought everything was cooked in clarified butter. I told the staff about it and they did everything they could to put my mind at rest and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed choice. Will definitely be going back

Absolutely terrible I would never go again our food was bland, powdery and we then complained about it and a memeber of staff rolled there eyes at us I also ordered a kema nan and it came with no meat inside and took 8 minutes to replace it. They said once we complained that they would be with us soon it’s now been 20 minutes and there still not with us poor food, poor customer service and poor in general only good thing I have to say was it was clean and the popadoms were average

Great Indian food! Friendly staff & a loverly atmosphere.

Honestly, one of the nicest indian meals I have had in a long time and really reasonable costs at about £15 per head including one soft drink each. My children (10 and 12) also loved their meal and they can be fussy! Disappointed I don't live near here to come back. Thank you Tamarind Table!

Starter was wrong with the popadoms and chutney tray. Onion bhaji and fish pakora starter was okay but not the best I’ve ever had. Long wait between starters and main meal, which was two Shashlik dishes (they where very good). The beer on draught seemed a little flat. Overall a decent meal.

Absolutely fantastic, food is amazing n the chicken pakora is a melt in the mouth sensation like you couldnt imagine especially with my extra lemon, me and my girlfriend go every Friday n wouldn't go anywhere else🤗🤗

Good choice, friendly and quick service

Met up with an old friend for a catch-up and meal. It was a very busy night but the staff was handling it very well. The food was served in a timely manner and was very good. There was a couple of birthday parties in which as you would expect were quite noisy but it did make catching up a struggle.

This was a last minute meal with mates as all the pubs we tried had stopped serving food. Food was great, service was attentive but not in your face and it was reasonably priced, not given full atmosphere marks as we were pretty much last people in there

Onion bhajis lacking flavour, my main course was king prawn karahi, It only consisted of three king prawns.. I thought that was very poor for a dish that was £4 more expensive than ordinary prawn version. Again like my starter, somewhat lacking in flavour A common theme amongst my fellow guests was prawns? What prawns? My wife on the other hand, had the chicken bhuna and described it as being lovely with tender pieces of chicken. However she also thought the onion bhajis lacked flavour. One of our other guests main course had been overlooked. He had to point out to the waiter that he had no main course. The waiter asked him what he had ordered, went away and came back and said it would be three or four minutes. A bit unfortunate considering it was his birthday party!. A nice touch however by the restaurant was presenting him with birthday cake with candles and accompanying music. Unfortunately they shot themselves in the foot again by not providing a knife to cut it with, nor plates to eat it off. Not until my wife had to asked a waiter some 10 minutes or so later did we get any. Obviously room for improvement.

From the moment I walked in, the staff were very friendly and helpful, a staff member found us a table for 2 very quickly and we sat down. At this point I took note of the atmosphere within the building and it was lovely, It felt welcoming and comfortable. Within minutes of sitting down a staff member came to take our drink orders and give us menus, and then not long after getting the menus somebody took our order. I would say it was the perfect amount of time, we weren't waiting too long however we still had long enough to go through the menu in detail. When the food came, which again was very fast, it was presented in a very visually appealing way. It tasted amazing and while we were eating the staff were sure to check if we needed anything for example new drinks. After our meal was finished, we recieved warmed lemon scented hand wipes and mint chocolates which were both very lovely and high quality. We then recieved the bill and everything was very reasonably priced. In conclusion, great atmosphere, lovely staff, delicious food and overall it was just a very enjoyable experience.

Had a take out tandoori chicken massala took a bite out of a piece and nearly broke my tooth had a bone in it and another had to give to my dogs cause the whole piece was hard cartilage won't be going again

The food here is unbeatable along with the service that goes with it, chicken tikka shashlic is the best with Madras sauce. On behalf of myself and my wife Elaine, keep up what you're good at.

The staff were friendly and service was excellent. The food was delicious with normal size portions. We ordered 2 cokes which were flat. We sent them back and got 2 more which were still flat. That's the only criticism.

Tried Tamarind Table for the first time after reading great reviews. The food was excellent and we rated it it 9.9 out of 10 - praise indeed for this unassuming curry house. Will definitely revisit

I keep meaning to review - finally after our 20th curry or so I can safely say this is a 5 star curry house!!! The staff are also so friendly, and we’ve never had a single mistake with the orders. Absolute compliments to the chef as this is becoming almost a twice weekly habit haha! The Koshi special is out of this world, for anyone looking to mix it up a bit.
