Taco Bell in Rotherham

Ordered 2 Meals with 500ml drinks and 2 burritos, gave us 1 7up can instead, tried to resolve this minor issue by giving them a call. Instead they made us wait 5 minutes on hold before someone hung up. Putting this issue aside, the fries with cheese were terrible. wouldn’t recommend this.

amazing customer service from connor. we had a little mishap with our order and had some bits missing so we rang up and connor was fantastic. so smiley and friendly and welcoming. great service from when we ordered till when we left. what a lovely person

Best Taco Bell ever, host Connor was very friendly and accommodating with our order, and appreciation to the ladies in the back who made our food perfect too👌. Ordered the ‘meal for 2’ - very high value deal. Worth driving out of the way for. Thanks to the Taco Bell staff, making a very hard job look very easy. ❤️

The burrito was nice except where the mayo pooled at one end. Chips were also nice and seasoned. There's no seating, in or out, which is a shame. But if you're getting take out there are some good options. I'd visit again.

I've had to do this review because of the lack of seasoning on the fries. There was hardley any on them this spoilt my visit. It's a shame really.

Absolutely discusting gave us half an order! Wouldn’t send the right stuff back out!women on the phone was rude and claiming to be a manager but wouldn’t give her name and put phone down worse customer service I’ve ever seen in my life! Paid 30 odd pound and got like 10 pound worth of food and was cold!said no one was there just her and she was the manager honestly wants sacking for lying and bad customer service

Pretty bad compared to other taco bell restaurants. Ordered at 21:30. It feels like there was more bread than filling in the burrito. Not very cooked either. Bad value for money.

First time ordering. Ordered a quesadilla box... Didn't come with a quesadilla... Great...

0 stars should be an option. My partner and I drove 10 min to get Taco Bell yesterday after seeing that plant protein can now be added to your favourites. We were craving crunch wraps, burritos and dirty fries (fries supreme). The local store also had signs outside and inside the store under the menus saying "add plant protein to any of your favourites". Even so, we were told this was not possible, and were only allowed to add/swap plant protein in one burrito, the Volcano one. Why? We can see them making the wraps fresh, so why not just swap the beef for the plant protein in a 7 layer burrito or the chicken one? It is very simple. We wanted a burrito including lettuce, tomato and all the good stuff, but were told we then had to instead order a Volcano and add an extra order of lettuce, tomato and guac and pay extra for it. This is ridiculous. They also did not have dispenser drinks, and said we had to pay extra for a bottle drink if we wanted a menu. We of course left being very disappointed with the poor service and ridiculous rules. How hard is it to pick the plant protein and put it in the burrito, crunch wrap or on the fries, instead of the beef!?! It is not exactly rocket science. I don't often bother with things like this, but we drove specifically to this place because of what was advertised, and experienced such nonsense. Embarrassing.

Ordered dirty fries but received clean fries with a hint of dirt

Went here when it first opened and it was OK. Just revisited on a convenience stop and found that all the tables have gone and its now take out service only. This seems to have a knock on effect of loss of custom so nothing is ready, its cooked to order, and in our case it was rushed through resulting in under cooked fries. Then there was the volcano burrito which was totally utterly flavour free. I might as well have been eating wallpaper paste. It's got one star because there doesn't seem to be an option for zero stars. This was bad, really bad.

Should be clearly be labelled as halal, some of us don’t eat halal meat

Every time I’ve been or ordered they either miss something or charge me for something I didn’t order. If your ordering DOUBLE CHECK what they give you and how much you paid. Never can be too safe.

The staff are so miserable. The volcano burrito with 'extra' cheese was slightly pathetic looking and definitely had no extra cheese!

Come here often, not a bad word to say. All the staff are pleasant, food is always great and overall just a good place to go.

This was a fantastic restaurant to eat in at, with all the options displayed on the electronic boards at the counter! I enjoyed a Chicken Burrito and Taco box including fries, Tango and Churros with a caramel dip for a reasonable price of £7.99. The service was fast when they loudly called out my order number, sitting inside was fine and cleanliness had been maintained!

Great service, great food. No eating area ATM however they say it's coming in April 2023. No drive thru is a bit of an issue and makes it a little more inconvenient to get your food, as well as severely affecting their bottom line.

Arrived at 9:30, says closing at 10 on google and website, see staff inside talking and on their phones, they see us walking up and they turn the lights off. We walk back to the car and we see them leaving and looking at us, 30 minutes before close! Not happy as trip wasted.

Absolutely terrible service. The last 2 times I have been there they have got my order wrong. I honestly do not know how hard it can be to read an order and do it. Honestly makes me so angry how inept some people are.

Ordered 3 meals and they didn't give me the drink for them only noticed when I got home. Other then that service good and food was good...

Absolutely appalling, paid a visit at 20 past 9 to be told they had nothing left at all, no meats, no chips, when we asked what do you have he replied basically nothing, was already cleaning up, an refused to make us anything when they wasn't closing for another 40 minutes!

Ordered 3 meals for vegetarian, 2 was vegetarian 1 was clearly meat, not funny or acceptable when you're a strict vegetarian, tried to contact taco bell with no luck, drink was also missing from order

Excellent Tacho Bell as a frequent traveller to the USA, I cannot praise this one enough. Staff friendly and helpful.

Always had lovely food from here, we live 20 mins away so order on the app and it's always ready when we go to collect, the staff are polite and the shop is always clean.

It was not great, I have eaten at better. The food was not great, they were good at fixing an issue with my order. But in general this was not the best taco bell.

So the food was okay 👍 the cinnamon swirls are pointless tbf not much flavour going on and you don't really get a lot of fillings to be honest or food and the second time we went they totally forgot our churros so had to go all way back its probably okay for a snack but meal nah not filling enough.

Went to this store last night for some food with my GF. I ordered 2 volcano burritos with no sour cream , one as a meal . 2 hard shelled tacos without lettuce and 4 with lettuce and an extra drink . I ended up with 4 tacos all with lettuce , one burrito had sour cream and no extra drink. I looked at the recepit and luckily I hadn't been charged for them but in a way that's even worse because you either weren't paying attention or didn't confirm my order . I was too tired in the end to go back inside , you just hadn't even put half of my order through the till . It's a common theme with taco Bells in the Sheffield area the staff simply do not know how to operate a till .The one in meadowhall is the same , I've had to wait for 45 minutes before because the staff couldn't operate the till and messed up orders . Shame

Very quick service and the food was lovely.

I’ve alway ordered from here and really enjoy the food but recently on three consecutive occasions they’ve missed out items of food and I’m beginning to wonder how they keep their business. I could understand if at the time they were busy with orders but each time I’m the only customer in there and previously to that the staff are stood about talking.

Made me have really bad stomachache wouldn’t recommend for a yorkshire las!

Literally the worst fast food franchise in the area. We like Taco Bell but after ordering from this location multiple times, and then having missed out several items on at least four separate occasions. Don’t waste your time or money ordering from them, you will just be met with incompetence.

Easily the worst Taco Bell branch I have ever visited. First of all I waited at the counter for 3 minutes before even being acknowledged by either of the two women preparing food about 15 feet away in the back. Then when I ordered I was told that they could not count my order towards the loyalty scheme because the till system wasn't working and they couldn't produce a receipt so I could manually add it later. After I ordered the queue began to build up. Understandable, as there were only 2 members of staff and they weren't exactly speedy. Despite this, I saw Deliveroo drivers or UberEats drivers collecting orders with receipts stapled to the bag (so they obviously could print a receipt). Then we were asked to wait outside on the coldest day of the year. As they couldn't give receipts it was somewhat chaotic with shivering customers standing outside the very tiny branch (which used to be bigger but was reduced in size last year when they tried to combine a Dunkin Donuts branch into the same building and had to dramatically compromise the size of both). At last the order came and I trudged to my car to eat it, onto to find out that the order wasn't correct, as there were items missing. Very poor service, inept staff - compounded by being understaffed - and an awful experience overall. There are McDonalds and Burger Kings within a short drive, offering far better fast food. Not recommended. Some cynics might suspect the lack of receipts was to take advantage of some kind of HMRC loophole.

Can't even express myself decently right now. Ordered food but received 2 different bags with 3 cans of 7up. When I called to ask for my order they told me they wouldn't come back with the food and don't even refund me entirely and will charge for the 3 can's of 7 up that I did even order . And the lady on the phone had the audacity to hang up on me without solving anything . Horrible place Will neve order again from them

i ordered some churros as well other items through deliveroo but taco bell forgot to put churros in the bag and can't do nothing about their mistake

Asked for extra meat and sauce, today was hardly any, nice tho, in future hopefully get more as paid for extra.

Ordered on the app and it picked up the junk name off my burner email, and the system in the kitchen doesn't have the same order number as the app. Apparently no lettuce means cold tacos with lettuce in. Also got a cold volcano burrito with bits of lettuce in (hint, it's not supposed to have lettuce in to start with). Still no drinks available without artificial sweeteners. I can't stand the horrid bitter so called sweeteners. The shop has been chopped in half and a dunkin donuts has taken all the seating area up. Outside the whole building is filthy, covered in mud, cobwebs and dead flies. We used to drive 50 miles to the Manchester one before they opened around here. I wouldn't go back to this one if I lived next door.

First time trying Taco Bell. Ordered two Quesadilla meals and a 'Large Fries Bell Grande', very dissapointed with the quality, presentation, lack of filling and taste of the Quesadillas. Fries bell grande very poorly put together and for a "large" had very little meat, cheap cheese slices and too much mayo. The mobile app doesn't give enough information about drink sizes with meals and also didn't work for redeeming "free hard taco" If you're thinking about trying Taco Bell for the first time i would advise not to. Atleast not the Rotherham one.

Fantastic food and fantastic service. Three Burrito meals ready in about 5 minutes, compared to 25 minutes for popcorn chicken at KFC.

Food was bland and cold, missed main meal from order so had to wait while they prepped it, then mixed up an item, no appology, though server was polite. Nachos were awful and had waaay too much paprika and almost broke a tooth, had no sauce for churos but didnt offer a refund for the difference. Wont be returning.

Food was pretty good, tacos was a bit flavourless maybe it was a one off but the rest of the food such as the wrap and quesidillas was very nice, will be back again hopefully tacos will taste better next time i come fingers crossed

The food is good, quite refreshing in my own opinion because its not burgers or fried chicken. Its good for a quick fix for Mexican food but no substitute either. Recommend the burritos!

Ordered online and waited in the carpark for an hour for the app to say to collect. When we went to check on the order we were told that it had been ready for over half an hour and they wouldn't serve us and told to email the head office. This was a week ago and still no reply. To reiterate, the app did not say to collect. We were outside the shop waiting and had no indication we could collect yet

We do love our taco. Tonight was fine nothing to write home about.

My son ordered online for delivery, food arrived late, cold and items missing. Rang the store for 20 minutes, nobody answering and kept getting cut off.

Personally not my kind of food, so I did not enjoy my time here, but the staff were pleasant and wasn't too bank breaking so if you enjoy this kind of food, I would reccomend.

Fast food outlet first visit was an experience second visit was a bit "damp squib" OK if you like bare bones dining

Service was a bit slow for what should be fast food. Staff were not that bothered but ok. However food is great value, decent fast food and the meal options are more value and better tasting than the likes of McDonald's. Good choice for both carnivores and veggies. Well priced and tasty. Ypu get what you pay for I guess but we would eat there again, thanks.

If your looking for a true taste of Mexican, taco bell is not for you, mild spices make it tasty but small portions A nice alternative to the McDonald's and not as busy

Just eaten here, no seasoning for the chips, wasn't told before I ordered, when I went up and asked wouldn't even provide free sauces, didn't come in a serving basket like the other tacos I've been too very poor customer service

Visited on a quiet Friday night. Staff were friendly and efficient. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Food was lovely and it's great value. We ordered a dessert to share and the churros were quite hard and didn't seem fresh. To the staff members credit she apologised, made fresh ones and they came within 5 mins. They were lovely.Would have got a 5 but the dessert issue. We will visit again.

A nice change from burgers or chicken

First timer at Taco bell and I am a fan. The chips are amazing!!! The service was lacking and they didn't seem to be able to understand not everyone knows how it works/ what's on the menu. The food was enjoyable and great value for money. Lacked a dip but on reflection you must have to ask for one.

1st order was wrong, asked for chicken got beef 2nd order came with lettuce but I did ask for just meat and the sauce, removed the lettuce as you see, the food was really good taste and was hot. The cinnamon twist was a nice desert, in fact we had more, it is a great value for money meal, I only knocked it down to 4 because of the two mistakes.
