Taco Bell in Cardiff

where do i even begin with this… this is the first time we have been to a taco bell so we ordered a fair amount of food to try as many different things as we can. we’ve heard quite a bit about it from various places so we thought why not try it? whilst the prices are reasonable, the food however is not. the food was cold, tasteless and honestly just a massive mess. we got served our food so quick which we were quite surprised about (little did we know the reason why that was was probably because they didn’t even bother making it properly…). the girl working there was extremely rude. we sat down whilst we were waiting for our order and when she read out our number she didn’t even give us a chance to collect it before yelling the number angrily again. this wouldn’t have been a problem if she hadn’t given us our food in an impolite manner, no thank you or anything. just left the tray there and left without saying anything. the table was very dirty, so they clearly didn’t clean it after the last person. the toilet just smelt of piss and there was water(?) everywhere. toilet paper was placed on the ground instead of up higher, which meant that it was soaked from the water that was on the floor. the only good aspect of this place is the salsa packet sauce. definitely not coming back here anytime soon, save your money and go elsewhere

Never seen anything like that before poor quality burrito basically a wrap filled with cheese sauce and like a table spoon of mince and very small,then there was the tacco smallest meanest thing i have ever been served,surely people wouldn't go back and buy that a second time,fries were nice!

The food fulfilled a need for our Party of six, pre match in Cardiff, but it was disappointing to witness three young well behaved young lads ejected from the premises apparently for enjoying themselves while queuing for the loo. The staff attitude seemed to be completely intolerant and unnecessarily harsh. It was match day in Cardiff; Wales versus England. Get over it.

Small portion sizes for sure, I'm also not greedy but this was beyond a joke and expensive for what you get

Mediocre....food nothing like pictures, I had 7 layer veggie burrito, it was mainly beans and lettuce, a bit of sour cream one end, and tiny sprinkling of cheese. None of the burritos were labelled so had to open them all to find what was in each. Chips luke warm.

Waited outside in the cold for an hour and a half - keeping in mind we were at the front of the cue - with a one in one out police, machines to order not being used - friends of workers let in straight away in group, employees chatting and going on phones while we waited in the cold. apauling - spent £10 on 3 tacos and a portion of fries.

We know we love Taco Bell so we went here. We ordered on the kiosk and right at the end it said ‘something went wrong’ so we went to the front just to see if it went through if not we would have ordered again. Whilst stood talking to the gentleman on the till I realised the money had been taken out of my account whilst he said it hasn’t gone through; after back and forth and one of the lady workers shouting from 2 feet back while we were trying to talk to the gentleman serving us, he sorted it all out for everyone and made our night. Robert was absolutely amazing throughout and we ended up loving our meal as always. Thank you Robert !!!!

Very slow service on a Saturday lunchtime. I had lots of time when I walked in, but they still hadn't got my order ready before I had to leave - congratulations to whoever got to eat order 144! Big contrast with the two adjacent places, Walk to Wok and Subway both of which have served me lunch very quickly in the past, and both of which seemed to manage with fewer staff.

it was a stupendous visit to such a exquisite institute of mexican culture. They MexiCAN... get it..... satisfy your needs. not only with your hunger but also with your failing marrige

its served broken, rushed as if staff dont give a #### about what there making and it tastes like theres not much flavour on the chillie beef. I think itss really sad and I even tried getting a just eat/deliveroo delivery from there and they dont put enough stuff in them. The one on newport road is modern and clean and they stuff the tacos full and if your not happy they can refund you. I would go to it more but it far away from me so i have to go to mary street so :(

went here for food after going to my work for cocktails and my neighbour venue after and decided to end the night at taco bell before heading home. food was lovely but what annoyed me is that they close the toilets after a while, we all have a right to pee etc, check they've paid and check the toilets by all means but don't close the toilets all together. you have a bouncer pretty much every day, just get them to check the toilet regularly, you're only as strong as your weakest member

We visited the new Taco bell in Newport rd Cardiff on Friday after promising to go there for while I wish I had not bothered the chips must have been warmed up and mixed with fresh ones they were tough ,the taco had to much cheese all in all a waste of £ 14 we won't be going there again. Had my first ever visit to Taco Bell on Saturday! It was a lovely atmosphere, me and my partner loved the flavours and the churros were yummy too! Will definitely visit again when next in Cardiff

In fairness it made me feel better about life. After visiting Taco Bell Cardiff, I realised I was at rock bottom and things could only get better, so after waiting a lifetime for my cold, tasteless food off I went down St Mary’s street to live my life knowing it could only get better.

Tiny portion size received, we ordered three tacos, one burrito and two sides and a dessert. Unfortunately I’d say that was less than enough food for one person nevermind two. Not much to say about the flavour, everything seemed under-seasoned and didn’t really look good at all. In comparison to the Taco Bell I’ve seen in the US, this seems to match the British stereotype of being boring, bland and overpriced.

It's pretty standard Taco Bell, nothing to write home about but reasonably inexpensive and can be good value for money. Pretty good if you want cheap, sometimes surprisingly spicy food.
