Had many good meals from them and last one was fantastic. We've had some poor meals in the past but recently they've been spot on and really tasty. Definitely back to their best!

Very bad chips the people in there can't be asked to be there only take cash was told to order online if wanted to pay by card even though they have a sign saying they take card the people in there all smelt like they had been drinking really bad place and we only had chips which was under done

Have used for the last 4 years started well, with the odd hit and miss order from time to time but then dramatically gone down hill especially in the last few months to the point where our last order will be our last. After waiting an hour missing salad and burger sauce from burger and it looked like it had been run over. Kids meals missing lollipops. All chips were under cooked, greasy and only a handful in each meal. Called up to complain and not even an apology, they can see from their system we are regulars yet no efforts to retain business. God knows what has happened here but we won’t we using ever again.

Not happy at all😡😡 I ordered a large chips and cheese and it came with about 3 chips in it as the fat ginger lad that dropped it off ate them all 0/10 do not recommend

Pizza horrid, hardly any sauce making it dry and also tasted the flour. Chips even worse, looked like they have been in the warmer for hours and covered in black bruise. The server said ho they are not very nice and put them back in the serving department, then when she thought I was not looking wrapped them for again. Will not be going back

AWFUL doesn’t even justify! The can of Pepsi was the best bit. I felt like I was eating a box of grease. And that’s being nice. The female meme we of staff in there is so rude , she went out back and was talking about us while we were waiting for our food. We heard everything she said. And to top it off our order wasn’t even right. Stay far away if I was you!!!!

Don’t bother ordering from this place, it’s a disgrace. The food is poor as is the service. We’ve tried many of the menu items but they just fail Ito be consistent of quality or value. Save your money.

Good portions, food was well cooked. Have been more than a few times. Nice kebabs. And open when every other chippy in the area was closed.

We order our food on a regular basis, lately the food has just been warm, batter soggy, pizza not really enjoyable. Used to really enjoy our fast food from there but could be looking at other options in the future

One female member of staff swearing directly in front of me whilst trying to figure out details on a receipt, another female member staff eating the chicken off my kebab right in front of me prior to putting sauce on it as if that's normal practice and to top it off the chicken was dry, burnt and massively over cooked, I have been advising my friend who for the last year or so to not frequent this establishment and here is my proof. Steer well away from this hovel.

Disgusting waited 2.5 hrs when it turned up it was cold for the second time left some of the order out and the chips were black I wouldn't even give them to the dogs,never again.

Let us down this time, the one thing I really fancied, Quarter Beef with Donner Burger turned up sans any hint of kebab meat. Chips were fine, sausage lovely, burger was nice but not what I ordered.

Overall very good, but the chips were a little greasy. Fish excellent, thick and moist and peas very good. They were quite busy with takeaway orders and deliveries. It was good to see that local people choose them to supply their evening food

The food is alright i’ve tried lots of stuff from the very large selection they offer, prices are reasonably low considering the quantity of food you get however it varies each time. The staff are nice too.

We’ve only lived here just a week,I’ve ordered twice as we have had no means of cooking until our cooker is installed,I just don’t like the beef dripping they use,I like oil,no culinary skills really,pie was microwaved and hard,chips were warmed up from lunchtime,£15 for food that belongs on the bird table!!!!!!

New owners yet again but still pretty good. Fish is excellent as are the pizza and burgers. The chilli sauce is nothing like the previous owners, way too oily so won't adhere to the chips. Love the spicy chicken strips, better than KFC.

I ordered fish chips and chicken and chips, most of the chips were like cardboard, when I retuned them they said they are like that due to the length of time it took me to get home, I only live in Tarry hill a 3 min dive, he then asked me what I wanted him to do about😤 will definitely not be going back.

I dont know why there are so many negative comments, Never before have I had such melty gooey cheese on a pizza and the amount of cheese and mayo on the chips is so generously and really well melted ii think its great

Normally really good but tonight is very disappointing ,a 2 and half hour wait is not really acceptable and we are still waiting so will be 3 hours by time we may or may not get our dinner. no contact from them or even a proper apology. I probably won't use again after this experience. I understand it's busy but a call would have gone a long way, not me having to chase the order to be told it's not even started to cook

It's the only takeaway in the village so it's rather popular therefore most products are fresh. Pizzas are mostly full of cheese so very heavy and sometimes soggy. Kebabs are very good but greasy. There's no healthy food there I'm afraid but it's not what this place is about. Easy to order using Foodhub app, quick delivery and large portions.

Haven't been ordering for years, tonight we decided to try it out but it was a disappointing experience. Both pizzas were ruined, slides into 1 side of the box, most of topping especially cheese stuck to the lid, just a mess. Chips were oily, we won't buy again for a while.

Terrible...chips deep fried in dripping. Chips were rock hard and cold. They were like rubber. My 5 year old son was excited to have a chippy tea but he was very disappointed. He even tried feeding the dog with them...the dog wasn't impressed either!.

Ordered a garlic bread and the base was green and mouldy 🤮 I thought it tasted funny when I ate the first bit. Clearly using pre made out of date freezer dough. I do not recommend eating from here. The chips tasted horrific as well.

I feel people should be made aware of this, order 3 lots of Kids cod bites and chips for my 3 nieces who are under the age of 10 to receive the cod bites with BONES in them, if it wasn’t for my mother in law pulling the cod bites apart then one of them could of seriously been hurt or even choked, when calling the fish and chip shop all they could say was what would you like me to do about it and was dam right rude! She also said that it doesn’t state it doesn’t have bones in it so it was our fault, just a word of warning before you buy your children cod bites!!!

Food delicious delivery bang on time then 3hrs later getting a call saying I hadn't paid,which I had £25.30.pointing at my family of being dishonest when it's the delivery driver disgraceful.

Food is always cold upon delivery. I only live 5 minutes away. The customer service is absolutely awful in this place and the owner has no idea what customer service is by the sounds of it. When you ring them to explain the food is just warm. They tell you your lying. I even said to them I’d be willing to drive it back to them in order to get a hot one. They still refused. Need to sort out there act out.

A massive thank you to this chip shop ,during Covid they helped me out with a fantastic hot meal at least once a week,as I live on my own and was and still isolating,I don’t drive so they delivered to me ,and I’m still using them and I always will ……Kind regards Hannah ( Gosberton)

Superb, Tasty and filling. Ordered Large fish and chips and mushy peas. Should be named Whale and chips, the size alone of the fish is massive. Managed to eat all mine but father had to stop. Highly recommended 5* plus

Food is ok, chips are never brilliant though, they never seem freshly cooked. Most times we order they manage to miss something off the order, last time I ordered 8 nuggets & chips, and got 6. In the past they've missed our sauces or cans of pop.

Asked if we could sit in and eat, served our food and it was cold, girl behind counter did apologise and give refund, maybe management should give a a hand and ensure food is served hot..

Ordered food over 2 hours ago and still waiting. Massively gone down hill last couple of months. Last time we ordered the chips were horrendous. Wont order from them again, rather go to one in Kirton.

Excellent chippy, nice pizzas, kebabs and superb haddock and cod. Best sausages of all the chip shops in the area.

Hardly ever have enough delivery drivers for ordering it's like Russia roulette if I'll get my order or not. Food hub says minimum order £8 but the chippy demands £20 to my address it demands dla delivery fee they need to update food hub

we have had fish and chips from the swineshead fish and chip shop on a few occasions which we have delivered, there are not the best in the world but its acceptable and i use them mainly because of the convenience of delivery and card payment facilities however this evening our food was not good, firstly we ordered haddock and didn't get haddock and it was very greasy, i would have normally emailed with the feed back as i don't like giving negative info on the net but sadly i can not find an email address on there web site and hope they read this info

Very impressed with the size of portions, the large fish is huge but any standards. Good menu to suit most people I think, will definitely be going back bery soon.

Absolutely amazing staff with gorgeous food, shame it was a little dirty on the tables and the floor looks like it hasn't been mopped.

Food was cooked freshly. But the potatoes were tasteless and very hard on the outside (overcooked perhaps) and the fish was actually pretty bland too. The batter was the tastiest thing in the meal but again overly tough/crispy. It wasn't bad but nor was it good. Actually the best way to describe it is "forgettable" They seemed busy enough with delivery orders. Kebabs mostly by the look of things. Perhaps the locals know something I don't... Staff were friendly, although they worked in silence most of the time (perhaps because they were busy and it was crazy hot in the cooking area) So shop clean, staff friendly, food freshly prepared but VERY mediocre. Will I go again? No.

Ordered a take away last night and was told it would be an hour, that's fine we thought, They cannot help being busy. 2 hours later still not arrived. 1 of the drivers went home!. If you cannot supply then don't accept new orders!. We will collect in future. ☹☹☹ Cancelled order

Had nice meal from this place and have been regular customer up until now, they rang me at 21.48 at night to tell me that they were cashing up and that the driver said I did not pay him, for one I gave the full amount and for 2 I gave the driver a tip, be warned anyone ordering from here!!!!!!! I shall not be placing any more orders here After leaving feedback on their website, they have also deleted my honest review off, I wonder how many more they have done this with...

Had a few takeaways from here now and food is very greasy and salad seems old and really not very nice. I have also noticed that this place is only rated a no 1 for food hygiene. This is quite shocking and for that reason we wont be eating from there again. Read the report yourselves. It's all public and it isnt great. Shocking to be just a no 1. The last inspection was November 2020. Get to a decent no 4 or 5 and we might reconsider. A no 1 is appalling and is just short from being closed down. Get your act together and sort it out

Food came cold, when I complained I received abuse! Not the first time I have been disappointed by the food. Only used it because only place in the village!

We've had a few meals from here, usually have 1 minor thing incorrect with the order (which we weren't too bothered about) However, had our usual order on a Thursday night and it was totally wrong. Rang up to request it be corrected, when the order came again it was still incorrect. Woman on the phone was very helpful, staff in the kitchen (in the background of the call) were very rude. Will not be ordering from here again, which is a shame as it is the only takeaway which delivers to us.

it didn’t start off great getting a can of pop that clearly says 59p on it or 2 for a £1 and getting charged a £1 for one then to my amazement my chickens got hair all over it looks like it’s been dropped on the floor the oil that the chips were cooked in doesn’t look like it’s been changed for a while if eaten I do believe it would make me ill avoid at all costs oh and I’ve put 1 star because I had to that’s to good for this place SHOCKING!!!!

Since new management took over this little gem has been getting better and better. Fish is fresh and top quality, kebabs and burgers are done on the griddle to order, pizzas are excellent and loads of variety, free local delivery, the staff and owner are great, can't fault them.

Very busy at the time I went there, around 8 pm. Very nice, polite workers that were very public aware even under the pressures of feeding the locals at tea time. Alas, the food my wife and I had was very greasey. It made both of us feel rather icky after eating it.

Usually impressed with swineahead fish and chips shop but today I had some chips and they were not great what so ever. Tasted like they havnt changed their oil for months.

We visited last week and were disappointed to find the fish soggy and anaemic looking with little to no batter. It was flat as a pancake and didn’t look fresh and resembled value pack frozen fish from a budget supermarket. I would never go back unless drastic updates were made. In a small village where reputation is everything, I don’t see them lasting long. Beware.

Great little find after leaving Yarmouth without eating, Good selection on the menu. My Doner kebab was packed with meat and was so tasty..

Everything is lovely, by far the best take away from so was head to Boston. My only problem, chips are never of the same quality, sometimes there brilliant sometimes there dry and sometimes you taste one and throw the rest in the bin. I'll order everything any anything other then chips because I can never be sure what I'm getting.

Amazing food every single time, the pizzas are easily the best around and the kebabs are just as good 👍 the guys there are so friendly and their service is amazing. Do not read the negative reviews, I have never had a bad meal from here and would very highly reccomend.

Only tried a couple of times and although the food was freshly prepared it was quite greasy. I’ve heard good things but on both occasions I was underwhelmed. Maybe next time will be better.

A menu that is so extensive it beggars belief. My fish tasted of doner meat, as much of the menu consisted of kebabs this isn't surprising. I also had mushy peas, these were so mushy I really though they'd been whizzed in food mixer
