I particularly like Sweet Talk’s taro balls and various baked desserts, as well as its green dumplings, which I buy every time I go there! New baked desserts are added every year, so you won’t feel bored if you try them again every year, and you’ll never get tired of them! The best desserts in Manchester! If you haven't had the chance to try Sweet Talk yet, I truly recommend giving Taro Ball Bowls a shot. It's a delightful experience that might just surprise you and leave you feeling delighted!

LIFE changing desserts, especially the strawberry mochi and the passion fruit cake it was amazing where has this been all my life. It's not too sweet but tastes so light and yummy omg

Although the weather is cold, I also prefer frozen desserts. They only sell room temperature and hot desserts. It’s a bit disappointing.

There are puppies in the store, and the taro head is really cute. I encountered something unhappy before I went there that day, but after eating the dessert I felt completely happy! !

Very expensive, £11.80 for a taro ball dessert. Taro balls are nice and chewy. Portion looks small but actually it is very filling. There were options for the milk base but they didn't ask for our choice and just gave us coconut milk. Nice environment, a lot of soft toys and that good to take photos with. There are board games but you need to pay and rent. I remember it being free a year ago.

we ordered the mango taro thing and the purple taro balls and boba pearls were kinda sour?? The yellow taro balls are not cooked enough and you can feel the uncooked powder bits in it when you bite through it. The whole thing is not even cold so it’s pretty obvious it’s been sitting in the kitchen for a while. We also ordered the mochi cake thing, the taste was alright but the mochi part was salty. Don’t even know if it’s suppose to taste like that or not, it just tasted pretty off to me i know the taro balls are made from powder, but your not suppose to taste the powdery bits. I don’t know why you mentioned dumplings when you’re also not suppose to be able to feel the powder in your mouth, you need to cook it through enough💀 also it being cooked from frozen doesn’t mean it should taste SOUR.

went here with a friend and spent £10 in total on three mochi balls! the strawberry and mango are to die for! they aren’t overly sweet, and are the perfect dessert for those who enjoy fruit flavours. the oreo mochi ball was okay, just didn’t taste like much. i also recommend their mango cake which is just so moist and creamy! they have a large selection of board games, and the ambience is quite instagrammable. will def go again :)

Hungry Panda delivery is far too slow. You would lose customers by using this platform to deliver. It would be much better if we can order from Deliveroo. Have been waiting for my order to come for one hour and the distance is just 15 min by walking. The driver’s location show he needs probably another half an hour to come. So disappointed by Hungry Panda as their slow deliver can really make people hungry.

I can't really fault this place. Classy and tasty! The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. The place was clean and most importantly the food was super tasty but if you don't like spicy food it ain't the place for you! Also, if you are going for lunch and you are ordering a la carte their portion are tiny but delicious so worth the price. They offer some lunch dishes at £12.95 and you get your money worth so boom there you have it! I will come back and recommend Zouk to spicy food lovers! Perhaps Zouk could play some Zouk music?😁😊👍

Came today 23/09/2022 and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Fun welcoming environment !!! Love the decoration. Drink was tasty. Second time here and it’s lovely ❤️

Worst dessert place ever! Staff are rude and the desserts are horrible! Would not bother spending money here, i’d recommend you to go to wasabi dessert room in china town…

Rubbish dessert and service, not respect customer, refuse customer cash, not illegal rule. Do not follow the business rule.

After sitting down and ordering food I witnessed a rat scurrying away from the kitchen; after seeing the food I knew why.

I was really looking forward to their taro balls, but I was so disappointed after trying it ☹️ Let me tell you why. First of all I don’t know why all the ingredients stick together and look not really fresh even though we were the first customer at that day, and the food is supposed to be the freshest at that time. Secondly, the taro balls and tapioca were not tasty at all. My friend is not a picky person and I rarely hear her say she hates any dishes. This is the first time she has leftover food 😅 Thirdly, food is overpriced and small portion. Besides food, interior cleanliness needs to be improved. Too many owners’ personal belongings piled up in the corner. But I have to say there’re still some good parts to mention. Indoor decorations are pretty nice, atmosphere is lovely as well. And they have lots of bored games.

It is located on the 1st floor. Hidden gem!!

Staff needs training how to deal and respect customer

Good ambience, nice place to chill out with aesthetic corners of the cafe. Milk tea was not too sweet, there was a good amount of tea flavour but not overpowering. Pearls and taro balls were soft and squishy. Cream puffs had a salty sweet flavour, which we weren't expecting but still enjoyed. The cream puffs had a pork floss and seaweed covering with ?nestum cereal, a unique taste. Didn't see the reviews prior to coming, the service was polite and helpful for us.

Place was nice and cozy. Has around 3 large tables (6 ppl) and some smaller ones. I think people tend to stay quite long here as they provide you with a lot of board games to play with. Ordered the coconut sago+black/purple rice + glutinous rice balls , 2 meat floss cakes (takeout) and a large taro mochi cake. I had a slight issue with my sago but that was quickly resolved by the staff. The sago was a decent size but not very sweet (most likely adjusted to east asian taste). The meat floss cake was really nice and you could really taste the mochi in it. The taro cream mochi cake was also really nice, layers of smooth taro cream, mochi, cake and meat floss. I ordered a large and it was the same size as the sago for takeout. Decent size but I wonder how big the smaller one would be for 2/3 of the price 🤔.

Nice shop. I love the desserts so much and it’s the only shop in Manchester that I could get the “ Mashuhezi”. QvQ

I don’t know why a negative comment will get deleted. I complained about their food, especially when their fruit is rotten, and all I get was insults from them through wechat moments. Evidence can found through their wechat accounts. They called me blind and have taste problems, I really don’t understand why the staffs, or the owner, would not admit their problem but to blame on their customer. I don’t know how they get away with this and authorities not doing anything regarding this issue. All I can do is tell the truth on here and make sure people know it’s not worth spending your hard earned money here

Used to order every week. Not gonna order ever again after having some rotten fruit in my dessert and being treated with really bad manner.

服务态度太差了，不会跟顾客沟通，食材又不新鲜. 一点服务行业的标准都没有. 最低消费和免费玩桌游是本店自己订的. 我们也很乐意服这个最低消费的价格是本店自己没说清楚. 本店让我们换位置我们也很配合的换了.我们也没有打扰到其他顾客或影响店里的环境. 客户不是永远都对，我们也很愿意的配合，但是不好好的跟顾客沟通还态度那么差是你们的问题.

Would give it a zero if I could. Hostess stand was rude. Foods were awful. Come here if you want attitude.

Very delicious dessert and made with real food! Definitely recommend!

Me and my partner pass by this place and had a look at the menu outside of the shop, we decided to try the pork floss cake (I'm a big fan of it). It's £2.50 for one, and when I saw the pork floss cake ready (it was fresh made) and packed in the box, I was really excited - it's not the usual pork floss cake I thought! (Usually is tiny round cake, has pork floss filling in the middle, and finish in one bite) This one is really special, tasty, and interesting texture (in good way). It's made with sponge cake, mochi, dried egg yolk in the middle and outside full of pork floss with seaweed. They provide spoon (I was thinking why..?) Then we realized it's actually easier to eat with spoon without keep dropping the pork floss. We suggest to open the box upside down (like we did in the pic), then you will definitely won't drop anything while enjoy it. I love the way they pack the cake as well, very neat and cute.

My favourite dessert place 😋 after ordering from them the first time I kept craving it and have ordered from them two days in a row before. Everything's freshly made and is a healthier version of dessert so you can eat more of it! Prices are reasonable as well for the quality and quantity you get! I've tried the fruit bowls, bubble teas, cakes and puff pastry and they're all fantastic so you won't be disappointed no what you choose to order here 😊
