Knock your socks off spice. Authentic, soul warming food. As the reviewer below said "there are better Chinese restaurants in Manchester" if you're looking for some chow mein and chips but this restaurant is what you want if you're looking for something bursting with interesting flavour and textures with huge variety of meats and noodles! Would recommend spicy and sour crystal noodles and pork head and smashed cucumber, don't let the name scare you off, it's a spicy savoury morish delight!!

The delivery sucks and no one answering the phone call. Food also taste bad really not recommended.

Wowawoo! , ambos dijimos mientras salíamos del lugar en el elevador. Real wowawoo! El ambiente, el menú, tomamos la degustación sin driunks. El ambiente, los camareros, la actitud, la comida, la forma en que se sirve y el precio son los mejores. Nos encantó cada momento allí. Se lo recomendamos a todos los que visiten Manchester.

Very mean service, weeks ago rejected to refund when not fully delivered my meal. Recently they asked for even 30p or rejected service when I asked to change my drinks to soup(and I was going to pay the full money not take advantage!!), just felt sick about the mean tone.

So good! But be aware, this place is different to almost all the other Chinese takeaways in most of the UK. The food here is proper, authentic Chinese food, with dishes in particular from the provencies of Sichuan and Hunan. *Everything I have tried is really really good!* However, if you are wanting a standard UK Chinese takeaway then perhaps try somewhere else. Citadel does almost all its trade to the many Chinese students and academics in the area and it is obviously very popular in this regard. It can be very hard to reach them on the phone, I think everyone else uses WeChat (Chinese WhatsApp) to order. Both times I have been I have gone in in person to order. The food is prepared very swiftly, and I have never been disappointed. I am looking forward to going back soon!

Ordered few meals. one salad is terribly salty. It is like eating salt. It can not eat at all. It looks like the chef accidentally put too many salt, but he continued to serve this to customer which was immoral. The wired response from customer service is they never put salt in this salad. Rather than improve and make sure the problem never happen again, the customer service kept looking for excuse, even said all other customers were never have any problem apart me. It is insult. Do not pay if the food is uneatable. This is my lesson to learn, and let the manager and chef to eat it. Some dishes are delicious, but some dishes are not delicious, but the chef is bad. Every cold dish is full of salt. There was no way to eat it. Every shred of cabbage is salty to death. The shameless customer service actually said that all the customers had no problem eating it and only I had the problem. How shameless. Arguing in every possible way and not thinking about improvement. No need to pay for such dishes in the future. They should sell this food cheaper, they cook it too quick so the quality is like the fast food sometimes but very pricey, come on man, and where is the menu?

Este es un chino llevar con sólo dos mesas y sillas 8. Es como una experiencia de Calle china - una versión oriental de una cuchara grasienta cafetería.
