Super Wok Chinese Takeaway in Leeds

I’ve been using super wok for many years (only once/twice a year), and the food has always been very tasty! Today, it’s a different story; something has changed (owners/chef?). I won’t be ordering from there again.

Good value. Good people. Good food.

Bit expensive but worthy food!.

Ordered food to be delivered, waited for an hour for delivery to then be messaged that they were cancelling the order

Waited almost two hours for the food. Refused a refund. Reported to my bank for fraud.

Embarrassing buisness, 1 hour and half wait for delivery then to be told it will be 15 minutes, then ring up after 15 minutes to be told it’s just leaving the kitchen will be 10 minutes then get a Uber eats email saying they cancelled the order! Absolute sausages!!

TERRIBLE customer service, read the other reviews… They sent the wrong order to us, when we called and asked for the correct items to be sent out they refused that it was wrong and said we would have to pay for it. The guy on the phone then said (when he thought it was on mute) ‘they’re just trying to get free food’ even though we had said we would give it back to the driver, he then put the phone down on us and stopped answering. Ended up driving down to take their food back, no apology AT ALL, no compensation even when he begrudgingly admitted that the food was completely wrong. Customer service was literally none existent even when they knew that they were wrong. Avoid at all costs!!

Use this take away regularly as not many to choice from due to where we live !! But often overdone chicken balls curry hit and miss but tonight totally a joke ordered at 6 said 1 hour rand after a hour and a half rang and have no apologies !!! said they were very busy !! Still waiting over two hours for a Regular customer !! Not good enough

Ordered food an hour and half ago never turned up. Not picking the phone up waste of time!

Almost at 3 hours since we ordered our food, and it still hasn’t arrived. Constantly fobbed off by the restaurant!!

Chicken fried rice wasn’t cooked properly the chicken was cold and gave me severe food poisoning and im 8 months pregnant. Shame because we used to be regulars will absolutely not be ordering again.

Placed order for delivery slot 8.40pm at 9pm chased on phone to be told he will be there in less than 5 minutes, chased again at 9.20pm to be told not sure where driver is but assured food would be hot still. Food arrived 9.30pm so 50 minutes late. Food not hot and rice dried up with rest average at best. Will certainly not use again.

A very big Thank You for the delicious meal you served up for us tonight. My meal was by far the tastiest take away meal I have had since we moved to Otley 15 years ago. Definitely be back very soon.

I thought the food was yummy, fresh and good portions. I got the salt and pepper box.

Have ordered lots of times from here and the food is mostly good but the delivery times are never adhered to (the delivery I'm currently waiting for is over 30 mins late) and the phone has obviously been taken off the hook as it's permanently engaged. Won't order again.

Most tasteless curry sauce and chips ever

Worst Chinese I have ever eaten the crispy beef tasted of fried fish and the rice was clap cold highly do not recommend

The chicken balls were dry and disgusting. The salt and pepper chicken was also dry and the smaller pieces were not edible

Incompetent useless staff who cannot take a telephone order and provide same when you come to collect, useless and aggressive staff, will never use again hope they go out of business they have no idea about customer service

Nasty customer service, ordered and my oder never arrived, called 5-6 times and mentioned it will 20 times everytime but never showed up. Worst experience ever. Save your money and order else where.

Have to say, I didn't order for a while as after they were taken over some time ago, I felt the quality dropped. However I thought I'd give them another go and the last two times Ive ordered, the meal has been fantastic! I totally recommend the salt and pepper King prawns as they are to die for! Don't know if its a new chef or what but brilliant and I will definitely be back 😋.

Ordered a meal for 2. You can pick your own dishes which is fantastic as they're usually set. Big portions enough for four!!!

Always use this chinese. They never fail to provide amazing food and excellent service. Always arrives on time, hot, fresh and extremely tasty!!! Highly reccomend

Shocking!!!! Ordered 2 hours ago and hasn’t turned up. Phone has been taken off the hook so unable to find out what’s going on. Really poor service.

Amazing food, we order set meal for 2 at around £20, added soup for £1.50, Fried Chicken Balls and House Special Ma Lat. I didn't hold out much hope for Super Wok, most places that try to sell themselves by saying they're good in there name are grim (Happy Meal - need I say more). But super wok was excellent, good sized portions and very tasty. Will definitely come back.

States open till 23:00, but shuts at 22:00...

Food average at best but staff so rude and girl behind counter couldn’t care less for your custom. Won’t go back there again.

Had a vegi curry. Wasn't sure what to expect but was surprisingly good.

Absolutely disgusting microwaved chicken 1st and last time I will use this place microwave meals from Jack fultons taste better 25 f runny bum avoid a oid avoid

Excellent food, the sweet and sour chicken was excellent, the salt and pepper ribs perfect. They forgot my noodles but rushed them to me. Excellent service. I highly recommend this place.

Said 40 minutes for delivery , couldn't find us out in the country just about 3 miles from there location,they said the delivery driver was not in and the chef in which speaks limited English decided after 50 minutes later to cancel the order

i know this sounds stupid but i had a chip from superwok and i have never smelt something so horrendous. also hairs in everything. also staff are quite unfriendly. also plastic in spring rolls. but food was nice even though some was gross. ps delivery guy was bare nice.
