Super Cook in Barking and Dagenham

The food was absolutely delicious! It was hot and fresh and tasty. The crispy chilli chicken was sticky and spicy the ribs weren’t dry at all. The chow mien had loads of flavour and the prawn balls were like pillows! We did wait a long time for the delivery but it was still within the time we were told when we ordered it and it was a Friday night… well worth the wait though!

Wonderful food, as always. Delivered early, but we never mind that. Steaming hot, fresh and tasty. I live close to Supercook and have seen many times how lovely and clean they keep the takeaway. A brilliant experience as always.

It was nice but my daughter said the roast pork chop suey was not chop suey but pork in garlic. She said it was nice but not what she asked for.

Other than big portions, the food quality was not good! The Thai Green curry was very salty, included tomatoes as an ingredient, which I’ve never had before. Two stars as the Won Ton soup was somewhat decent.

Ordered large bbq ribs, only get 5, & rice Tasted only ok but so not worth £16.wont order again, I’ll make my own, prices are crazy now.

I have ordered from hwre dozens of times, but tonight was appalling if I'm honest. I ordered a large rice and it came like 3/4 full, I coukd have saved money and ordered a small. I also ordered a sweet chilli sauce which in the past was different, it was a whole different sauce this time around and a tiny portion that would struggle to fit in a shot glass. I hope it's a one-off and they were having a bad day, because I do like this place mostly.

Was lovely! First time trying this place. Food was early and piping hot. Tried a new dish in beef in cashew nut in yellow bean sauce which was lovely ! Would recommend. Also tries there green thai curry with prawns which was perfect. Thank you! Will defiantly order again

Super Cook are consistently good. Speedy delivery and food piping hot, Fresh ingredients and generous portions. Never disappointed.

quality Chinese local to me - I've always ordered Chinese food from super cook. the duck and pancakes is oh so very mouth-watering.

I always order from here and never disappointed until now. Was extremely late. Sauces was spoilt in the bag. Chips was cold and soggy. Chicken balls cold. Just an awful awful dinner. So angry

I ordered few dishes the noodles rice and kung Lao chicken were lovely but unfortunately the sweet and sour chicken and prawns tasted really bad. They tasted off and I couldn’t eat them had to throw in the bin. The sauce was very bitter … my family also tasted and said it’s off. It’s a shame

Whole order took 16 minutes to arrive from when ordered so that’s good! chicken chow mein, rice & chips were lovely. we also had salt and pepper chicken, which didn’t taste like salt and pepper chicken at all - lack of salt and pepper. tasted just like fried chicken, oily but edible x

food wasn’t nice at all the runniest curry it was like watery soup! and the rice didn’t taste fresh

Great quality as usual. Hot, fresh and delicious. And the portions are so good that one order lasts 2 days, so also affordable! The black bean sauce is the best I’ve tried in a while. Most places put way too much chilli in, and I’m a wimp with the spicy . Love it! Thanks Super Cook.

Really disappointed with this order. Not sure if the chicken went for a walk before being added to the order but it felt like two portions of plain chow mein. Whole order was like warm.

The beef was chewy and the egg fried rice was cold and plain chow main it was cold and chewy sorry it was disgusting I always use you and normally it’s great and nice but this time was absolutely disgusting

Great Chinese in the area Their mini chicken rolls with sweet chilli and their pork triangles are delicious! Don’t see them at other Chinese takeaways. I could eat them all day Highly recommend

The food was awful . Chow mein was old and re fried and was sticky and gunky. Salt and pepper chips were chips with chillis thrown on top. Worst Chinese I’ve ever had and will never order from here again . Vile

As usual something was missing from my order it was the chips this time. The sweet and sour chicken balls are not balls anymore they are strips other than that the meal was good

Didn’t even bother going through with the order after speaking to the man on the phone, if you’re going to speak to customer like dirt then don’t expect to be busy…. The man was literally so blunt and rude I didn’t even want to give them my money. Disgusting

Not my favourite I’ll be honest but could just be preference. Portion size and hot. Value for money.

Ordered 3 meals, prawns in peking sauce, sweet and sour prawns and prawns with green pepper & black bean sauce. All 3 meals were completely full of onions, not anything else except for the prawns. I never saw so many onions in one place, it was solid through each box. Peking sauce was really bland and looked like mud. This is the first time I ever left any negative review, however I am so disappointed with this they are lucky to get 2 stars and their phone is an answer machine. Furthermore we both have upset stomachs today which is the last straw.

Very dissappointed in todays food. The portion size was ridiculous for mixed h'orderves at £7. Phoned up to check it was correct as couldn't believe it, it was correct, told them i wouldnt order again, they put the phone down. Dished food up, rice was stone cold and chicken satay tasted weird, not like any satay ive ever had. Overall a complete waste of £35, wont go to this place again. Shame really as ive used them loads over the years, not surw if they've been taken over or have a new chef but it's defo not the same as before.

For over 5 years I have regularly ordered from Super Cook and this time, the food tasted different. Chicken rolls, egg fried rice and chicken in black beans sauce all hot and fresh. Not sure if they changed their chef or ingredients but the meal tasted like it was made with love.

Order arrived Luke warm and Curry sauce was missing (sweet and sour was given) but not what I ordered. King prawn balls were also very small. I order from here all the time and it’s normally spot on, tonight was a disappointment but hopefully just an off day.

The experience with this restaurant has been awful. I have waited nearly 2 hours for my food. For the restaurant to say “the driver got the door number wrong” with no apology or explanation. The food wasn’t anything special and there are better takeouts around the local area.

I checked the reviews and had high hopes for the food but sadly they were dashed. Everything seemed to taste very fishy and after a rew mouthfuls we were totally unntested by it all and pretty much threw the lot in the bin. The Malaysian fried rice pretty much had nothing in it apart from very dark brown rice and it just tasted off. We would not personally use this restaurant again but you never know til u try

Food was brilliant will order again. Delivery good sometimes it can take abit longer on busy days but I don't mind as food was great and still hot.

Terrible! Very appalling service. I did not receive exactly what I ordered. The customer line doesn’t listen to your order specifics and delivers something completely else. Food is very dry. This was our first order from here, never coming back here. We wasted our money.
