Overall experience was excellent. Delicious food. Very good customer experience. Cleanliness well maintained. Guy on the counter asked how we want the food and the food was exactly as we needed. Best place to try Chinese food.

We've ordered from here loads of times and it's usually lovely, but this time the delivery time said 6:05 then it changed to 6:15 and it didn't actually arrive until 6:30. The food was cold, the chips were soggy, the chicken balls were rock hard. The whole meal was just no where near as nice as it usually is. It's a shame as we always order from here but now will be a bit wary of ordering

The food was awful. chips were hard, curry is brown and clumpy, sweet and sour sauce was like water, chicken balls tasted like grease, worst sausage I’ve ever had & the egg fried rice was so bland. the noodles were the only thing I could eat! Don’t listen to the good reviews... probably the worst chinese I’ve ever had!!!

Ordered at 7pm for 8.30 delivery. At 9pm it still hadn't arrived yet on the app it had been delivered at 8.45 Rang and told traffic was bad. Food eventually arrived at 9.30 cold 🤨

second time of ordering and it just gets better- salt and pepper ribs were amazing again but what completes a great meal is the best delivery driver on the planet- what a guy he is an absolute credit to the restaurant 👍👍👍

Recently moved to the area so I wasn't sure where to order from - I tried this restaurant after looking at the reviews. Food was delivered 15 minutes early, the delivery driver was really friendly and called me 5 minutes before arriving as I requested. All of my food was delivered warm and tasted good - I couldn't find fault with anything and will most likely order from here again. :)

Only disappointment was prawn crackers were missing 👎🏻

This is the first time I’ve been disappointed with our meal from here but it took over and hour and 20 mins to arrive. I had the “en route” notification 30 minutes before it came. Chips were soggy and cold, chicken balls so hard they were inedible, pork was dry and the chicken dish was completely overpowered with garlic.

We had Been with super Chinese a few months and we had a bad meal that delivered the wrong meal and was promised a freebie on next order. This order we had no freebie and the food was absolutely awful especially the curry it was like water. The delivery driver kept expecting me to come down stairs in my apartment block when I pay delivery charge to have it delivered to my door I complained about this on a few occasions and nothing was done as he kept doing it. We have since been using a different Chinese takeaway.

Good food but we asked for no onions in one of the dishes and it was full of onions. Always disappointing when they can’t read and follow simple instructions.

The restaurant workers themselves were good, and on top of things (allergies and what not). The food wasn't what I'd hoped, but I have very high Thai standards, and this is a Chinese restaurant. The delivery was early but had some mix-ups as to location, and I actually had to collect it from the car. So..yeah.

This is my go to restaurant for Chinese takeaway... six times we have ordered from here, every time the food has been amazing. Often delivered early, free food and pleasant delivery drivers! Couldn’t recommend anymore if I tried!!!

Never ordered a meal from here before, but happy I've done so. Pre-ordered around 5ish for delivery 8:15pm or after, so perfectly acceptable to receive at around 8:35pm. Having read reviews for a number of places, I seem to recall (it's been a long 24 hours) at least one comment that the delivery person was cheerful/happy etc. Well, that was certainly the case last night!! So lovely to have someone smiling etc and happily interacting..... wish I'd had more than the £2 change I had to give him. On to the food itself, everything ordered plus the freebie was there and was absolutely tasty. I'm just going to start eating the leftovers now :). Also, even though I live in Grangetown and they're located in Clifton St, the food was still piping hot. Next time I order a chinese meal, I will definitely re-order from them and hope the same driver will appear. The only aspect that would prevent some of my friends from ordering from them t is that their food hygiene rating at Aug 17, is listed as 3 (generally satisfactory). I genuinely hope they manage to turn that around and achieve a 4, if not 5, next time. Based on last night's meal, and a 3 is retained, personally, I would still order from them but it would be a shame that they lose potential custom on this basis as their food was sooooo goood.

We usually order regular from here and we would say it’s definitely the best in the area, but our latest order was a bit disappointing. The special fried rice was a bit dry with hardly any flavour, could have done with a lot more sauce, it was practically white rice. The spare ribs were extremely chewy and not tender at all with 99.999999% bone, it wasn’t worth attempting to eat them after the second one there was no meat. And finally the prawn crackers were harder than usual, not sure if that means they were undercooked but they were not light and crispy like they usually are, they were a bit tough and slightly unpleasant. I’m hoping it was a one off as we would like to order from there again but will use another takeaway store if it happens again sorry to say 🤨

Absolutely banging. Don’t bother ordering a Chinese anywhere else in Cardiff - this is the one. Granted, I’m unbelievably hungover but the quality of the food, taste, delivery and price was all spot on!

Food was lovely ..one thing I forgot to order was poppadonms and prawn crackers......as I'm used to them coming free on top of my order especially when its 30 quid or more in other places....but will defo order from here again ......(with sides lol) beautiful food

Ordered food for 7:25 for family reasons. At 5 (before they even open) so 2 and half hours notice yet they still pushed it back to 7.30, 7.30 comes and still no food, didn’t arrive til 7:45 so needless to stay not happy. Then the food was cold!!🙄 won’t be ordering again

Absolute Nightmare. Worst customer service I have ever received. So, i ordered a tray of rice and chips with prawn curry. Ordered and went to collect and paid in cash. Got home and there was one prawn and the curry was all chicken beef and pork. I got in touch with just eat and the restaurant were uncooperative and I was in a chat with just eat for 1 hour 20 mins. The resolution? The restaurant refused to refund me (despite having given me the wrong dish) or to resend out the correct meal. So I was out of pocket and with a meal I didn't order or want. They offered me 50% off my next order which doesn't recompense the customer but just tries to entice more business. Poor poor poor service and not how to keep customers. Avoid. If they make a mistake, you'll be the one paying.

I mean, Absolute Joke. I understand I had ordered my food late (around 10pm) but still here at Midnight with no sign of it. was said to be delivered at 23:15 but obviously hasn’t happened. Feel as though I’ve been stitched up and my food isn’t ever going to show up. All was ordered was Noodles, Curry Sauce, chips and egg fried rice. will be calling up late tomorrow for a full refund of the meal because of just how poor of service it is. will not recommend nor will I ever order here again. absolute Joke, should be disgusted with yourselves

Took over 2 hours to arrive was like warm and the crispy beef had very little sauce on it made order 20:05 it came 22:20 over 2 hours is disgusting

Food arrived on time. Food quality overall was okay, ordered salt and pepper chicken but wasn’t much chicken at all too it, and also our Coca Cola was warm. On just eat it says if you spend over £20 you get prawn crackers for free, and our total came to £20.95 including £2 delivery free, our order turned up but no prawn crackers, we rang the restaurant and they said it didn’t include delivery fee. No where does it say ‘does not include delivery fee’ if we had known we would have ordered some, however because we had spent what seemed to be enough to get them for free we didn’t bother because we didn’t need 2 portions.

What a waste of 20 quid never known anything like it, never again.

I’ll start off by saying that I’d never have thought it possible to receive our order half hour early on a Saturday night. what was better than the timing was the food was hot and delicious with two complimentary fortune cookies for good measure. absolutely faultless service.

First time using Just Eat to order ahead from a beloved take-way I normally collect from. They were bang on time. Even to the minute I kid you not - a worthy feat given the notorious difficulty of getting into my apartment complex and finding my block. And the food was, as it always is, awesome :-D

The food was nearly 45 mins late. When I called the restaurant they said that the driver didn't even leave until after the food was due and it was a 25 min journey. The food arrived cold and even the poppadums were soft and tasted stale. If you can't deliver food hot don't allow delivery to that address.

delivery on time but when we had our food delivered, plated up and half way eaten we noticed all chicken balls were pink and undercooked which turned my family of 5 off the rest of their meal. We rang to complain and stated that we would want a refund for whole meal as it ruined our meal and offered to resend it all back for proof.and all we had was a refund for the chicken balls! outrageous!!

I tried crispy noodles for the first time and was not impressed. Otherwise the food was as good as any I have ordered in Cardiff. I shall return.

Our usual chinese was closed so we took a gamble on this one, absolutely delicious, blew our usual takeaway out of the water. 90 minute wait was a little much but we were at least informed of it from the start.

Bad taste, nothing mixed, blant food

The estimated delivery was 60-75 mins which would have been about 8.30-8.45pm. At 7.55pm we received a text that said our food had left the restaurant and was enroute however on the just eat website it wasn't due to arrive till 8.55pm. Our food arrived at 8.55pm so although it was on time, it had very obviously been in the car for the best part of an hour. Most of the food was tasty however it was barely warm and the spring rolls had gone completely soggy. We understand a Saturday night is the busiest night of the week so weren't bothered by the wait time, we just wish our order had been delivered fresh.
