Sundarbon Tandoori in Nuneaton and Bedworth

Food was piping hot, great taste, spicy ... could of done with filling up the tubs to the top, more pineapple in one and more chicken in both, didn't seem enough chips and were bit soggy and cold

Food was average, Chicken Tikka Masala was more like a sweet & sour chicken, Naan breads were cold

Was only a few minutes late. Food was freaking amazing, and really hot. Highly recommended.

I never have any issues with this restaurant but today was different, my order said it was delivered when it wasn’t delivered to me, it’s been over 2 hours since I ordered and I am not happy!

I ordered the the Tandoori Mix Grill, wow....I have had a better MIX GRILL else where....the SHEEK KEBABS a SHOP BROUGHT, you can buy a pack of them from any Asian shoo for £8, pack of 20....and even Tesco's sell these.....

Ordered tonight, absolutely shocking will not use again

Decided on a home delivery for a change. Food was hot, flavoursome and there were plenty of choices. Two delivery staff were pleasant, courteous and informative. And the delivery was timely and without issue. A slick and smooth experience all round.

Best Indian takeaway I have ever had. Both delivery drivers in the Toyota and Ford kuga are extremely polite, and front of house are very attentive. Food always comes piping hot and I often get a free bottle of coke, think you have to spend over £30. I've tried all the Indian takeaways in Nuneaton and Sundarbon is definitely the best 👌. The chicken tikka wrap is a fully fledged naan bread, not a little pitta wrap like other places. The chips portion is a big tray, not a little burger box like elsewhere, only costs an extra 50p or something to have cheese on them. The shop itself is clean and you can tell the chefs love what they do, it's only a shirt distance from the town center so it's accessible to everyone. I order every Saturday when my family comes round and they absolutely love it. Thanks guys!

Been going here for years, been ran by the same lovely family the whole time. The food is absolutely delicious, you can tell they know what they are doing in the kitchen. Delivery drivers are always polite and careful with the food. I've been to India and the food from here is as authentic as it comes, its just like how they do it in India. The food is always spot on, you have to try it for yourself!

Ordered from here a lot of times always been very good and on time but tonight after a hour of waiting turned up with 2 drivers that were extremely rude 1 big dude one little indian want a be giving it loads at the door exactly wanting to have a fight won't be using this service again cos I think they have changed hands and have no respect for they customer

The food was very tasty as always but they sent a Dhansak instead of a Bhuna and some of my King Prawns were cold. I had guests around so didnt have time to phone them to get it sorted out.

I would highly recommend this Indian takeaway. I have been going here for over 20 years and the food just seems to get better and better. It comes piping hot and 99.8%. It’s always on time.

The food is always piping hot when delivered and also the driver carries it with such care. Thank you to all that were involved in producing my lovely dinner.

Madras was tasteless watery and not not spicey in the slightest

We had confirmation the food would be delivered at 18:35 as we wouldn’t be arriving at the address until later but the food was delivered at around 17:35ish. This mean it was unfortunately cold by the time we got there.

I have ordered two currys with naan bread in the last 2 months. To be honest not impressed at all. The naan bread looked like flat bread and was tasteless actually it looked awful had better out of a packet. The currys were not much better.

Rogan Josh lamb was a bit tough and not as tasty as it used to be.

Half hour late and food was cold and very poor quality would be embarrassed to give it to anyone would stay very clear of this place had to give one star just to give a review

Biryani is nice as usual, ordered chips and they never put them in the bag.

Used to be our go to curry house. We have been using these for about 15 years and never really had a bad curry until now. The last 2 curries we have had have been watery and tasteless. No heat, no flavour, no spice, no nothing. The cheese and garlic naan was undercooked and didn't taste of anything. Really disappointed. Not sure if there's a new chef or something but looks like we will have to find a new one to use from now on

Fresh and hot, good delivery time, but they forgot my keema naan bread, this happened a couple of orders ago as well.

Very disappointed with our food. Lamb in the Buhna was very chewy, not very spicy and curry was watery. Nan breads came in ine bag and were soggy, had to grill them

Placed order at 5.30 for 7.30. 2 hours notice. Delivery arrived at a shocking 8.30. 3 hours from order. An hour late of delivery. Food was warm not hot. Average at best. Popadoms soft. Naan bread poor. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Very disappointing

Used to be our local, really enjoyed their food, and have an offer of 15% off phone orders - Win win, right? Well, we popped in to nab some food,, and noticed there wasn't the 15% off our order - The dude said "Yeah because its not a phone order". So I'm like, yeah but we're here in person - If I stand outside and call the order in, will that work? "Nope I wouldn't allow that" Literally doesn't make sense, do we just walked out with him ignoring us. Such a shame, used to be our go-to, but no need for the attitude.

very good, hot and fresh. portion sizes of rice are slightly larger than at other places but that's reflected in the overall price, similar meal ordered at other places is cheaper but I'd say the sundarbon quality is better.

Sundarbon sent the wrong Rogan Josh. It was chicken and we ordered King Prawn. We did not report it at the time because we were hungry and it tasted good. Just not the right dish.

The food was amazing but there were no prawns in the Maharishi curry which was disappointing.

Time of delivery changed 3times was warm when it arrived and delivery driver phoned me to find out how to get to my address

normally I love this place but the past few times the peshwari naan is disappointing. someone has removed the sweetness, the coconut is clearly missing and its been replaced with sultanas. it's also turned quite stodgy...like undercooked. please sort this out.

Food was nice, trued something different today. Had the vegetable starter and samosa and pakora were good, the other starter was a bit salty but tasty. Also tried the meat Bengal, it was a different choice for me, the meat was good and tender and it was hot but I thought it would have some spice or something else to it, I was wrong, it was extremely mild. Nothing wrong with it, just not my kind of thing I'd normally choose. I wish just eat would allow more of a description so you could see better as to what you're getting, I googled the meat Bengal to see what it was like but what I got was a million miles away in how I expected! Lol! Still I'd order from them again but stick to my usual choice from now on.

The first time, we used this takeaway after s recommendation and not impressed. Samosas were a good start, then the main event, Lamb Jalfrize, if you like raw onions, raw peppers, and a bland sauce, this is for you, not for me. Chicken Tikka Marsala, so sweet, almost inedible. Won't be returning

This is the best Indian restaurant in Nuneaton, it's been going for decades and I've never had a bad meal.

Good tasty food. Portion sizes are generous so we've started sharing a rice between two people and a main dish can easily be shared too. The starter we had was equally large and could be shared between 2/3 people too. Some of the items on the menu do seem a bit more expensive than some other takeaways but the bigger portion sizes certainly make up for this. First order we made cost us about £50 but we had loads left over for next day so the second order we made was only £30 and fed 4 of us with no leftovers and it was very tasty. Also, some Indian takeaways have seemed a bit too salty, this one is fine, so you don't need to reach for a big beaker of fluids straight after!

Tried something different today, the Bombay biryani. Absolutely amazing. Possibly the best Indian takeaway I've ever had. Will defo have one again. Sundarbon is up there as one of, or if not, the best Indian takeaway in Nuneaton.

The palak paneer, had no taste at all!! Biryani curry was watery. The naans were chewy and very dense, didn't look or taste fresh either. We were very disappointed with our first experience.

It was OK.. tikka definitely wasn’t cooked in the clay oven, it was rubbery. Naan’s weren’t great either. Always disappointed so won’t be ordering again and wasting £50

The BEST Indian takeaway without any doubt. They NEVER let you down

Never had a problem before. Delivery was supposed to be between 8.20 - 8.40pm. It arrived 7.50pm - 30 minutes early. However, it wasn’t hot. Had to heat it up. Will order again, has this is the first issue I’ve had with them.

A year a go they were so much more,now they have halfed there chicken tikka rolls I feel cheated. Used to consider them the best in the town now it's mainly bread not much meat and I strongly wouldn't recommend

Delicious every time we order from Sundarbon, our favourite indian.

First time using the Sundarbon and I have to say, absolutely excellent food, we had chicken madras and a chicken korma, popadoms and chapati's. Thankyou gentlemen for a lovely meal, first class food.

All absolutely gorgeous food as usual, thanks! The last couple of meals we've had from you have been very mild though, please don't loose the spice that sets you apart from all the other bland curry takeaways around here!

Delivery was quick, chips and nan bread nice and fresh however tasteless watery madras and poor oniony bhuna. Very disappointing!

Positives- poppadoms were crispy and the mango sauce was really nice. The Delivery was fairly quick and it was hot. Negatives- Chicken Madras was quite tasteless lacked salt and I've had hotter supermarket packet curries than this. The chesse & garlic nan tasted like a plain nan lacked any flavour and had a weird taste to it. My partners chicken Pakora's were drier than the Sahara desert, they were very hard to swallow and she doesn't normally have any problems swallowing if you know what I mean 😉. Overall I won't be going back and don't recommend tbh.
