Great food arrived hot and spicy was delicious

Lovely delicious food , friendly and polite service . I haven’t dined in; I’ve only ever had takeaways and the delivery service takes around 45 minutes to an hour , which is a fair and reasonable waiting time. I have only praise for this professional restaurant.I would highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious food, super tasty and thick sauce, no water around the side of the plate. 10/10 winner. Would absolutely recommend if you're looking for a new regular, think we've just found ours! Thank you Masalaz

The food was wonderful. Good one on one service with helpful suggestions given by our attentive waiter. Tandoori mixed grill main is delicious served with naan and the North Bengal Garlic Chicken Chili was just the right amount of heat!

I found the service and food at masalaz excellent. My main meal was the chicken biryani which I really enjoyed. Portion sizes was very generous. The plain naan was delicious. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed our Time out here with my family. Will definitely come again

We came for a special reunion dinner with family from overseas. The service was excellent and the food was so good. Piping hot naan bread, delicious popadoms with an assortment of different chutneys and we loved the variety of fresh dishes. Nice variety and good for eat in but also do take away.

Not used these for a while, went down hill but looking at the recent reviews I gave them a try and wasn't disappointed. Ordered garlic gujarat with extra chilli's, pilau rice and a garlic and chilli nan. Food arrived promptly delivered by Abdul a guy I've known for ages,and was piping hot, the food was excellent and plentiful and the nan was the best I've had for a while there was even 2 complimentary poppadoms.well done Johal.

I have just registered with you about 10 times just to order some food, it keeps taking me back to the start again and again, I've given up now and am ordering something else from elsewhere, I'm sure your food is lovely but I will never know sadly!!!! 30 minutes re-entering the same fxxking thing.oh well

I ordered Butter Chicken and tikka masala for hubby. They tasted identical. Butter chicken was horrible tasted like a cup of sugar in and masses of coconut. No spice and deffinatly not a hint of chilli. Never seen a recipe for this with coconut in. Good job not allergic to it ! Messaged the shop X2 , no response!

I have really wanted to try different places as I was sick and tired of the same restaurants, upon realising that I still haven’t tried Masalaz in a long time, I made a order for a Chicken Chatt Puri and I wasn’t disappointed. 11 out of 10. Unbelievable texture and precision in the making of this curry. Definitely recommend to people. Only giving 5 stars as I can’t give 10.

We had a takeaway yesterday. Food was super delicious and hot. Perfect packaging quality. Specially Sami Delight and Lamb madras was so tender and delicious. We are looking forward to having some meals aged from Masalaz.

I really wanted something different in the restaurant industry, however this is really hard when you come across restaurants which have similar taste and menu options regarding food, this is where Masalaz comes in, we came in for eat in and we were not disappointed, we were treated well by waiters which frequently came to ask how everything was, our food also had a different taste to other indian foods. Only giving 5 stars as I can't give 10

We were looking around for new places in Nuneaton and this is where we came across Masalaz, we came for dine in recently and we were treated amazingly, we also recived great food as well which was full of taste and was hot. Definitely reccommond for new people around Nuneaton.

So impressed with this place. Discovered it last weekend when we were looking for an Indian to order our weekly takeaway from. Couldn't wait for it to be takeaway night again so we could order from here. The 2 different curries we've had so far have been delicious, as were all the accompaniments. The bonus bhajis and poppadoms are really appreciated. I never order bhajis because I thought I didn't like them, turns out I've just never had good ones - they're amazing from here!

We came recently into Masalaz. Although this was our first time dining in, we were treated beautifully by a handsome gent which was tall and kind. He managed to ask us through our stay how the food was and if we needed anything. I ordered Chicken Vindaloo and Mushroom rice and it was perfection. Piping hot, and full of flavour. The nice waiter was very kind and thoughtful towards my son. Even offered to give us a baby chair. Definitely recommend. Giving 5 stars as there isn’t 10.

Had a delivery tonight myself and my Son. From the lovely friendly delivery driver ,to the food we had ordered . It was spot on in every way . Food was hot on delivery .tasted great from start to finish . The only fault i can honestly pick was we didnt have enough mint sauce and mango chutney . Bigger pots please . Chicken tasted off, masala was grainy, naan bread was undercooked. Waste of money.

Not impressed with our food the madras seem to be mainly tomatoes and hot the naan bread was ok, we both left over half our meals.

Absolutely beautiful first time ordering had chicken tikka masala mushroom rice and chips oh and a popodum had it delivered via Uber eats it was absolutely beautiful and tasty and extremely hot on delivery ! From one restaurant owner to another that was great thank you !

I am absolutely astounded at this ‘restaurant’. I go in there regularly for a takeaway as it has always been lovely with great owners. Tonight I went in and ordered a takeaway for 1. Last week I paid £8.50 or slightly less cash as they now don’t take card and only serve takeaway. They cooked it and a guy in a dirty apron brought it out. When it was in front of me the guy who didn’t speak English very well went to the menu and told me the pilau rice was £3.10 and the curry was now £8. When I questioned why it had gone up so much since last week he admitted that the takeaway now has different owners in the week to the weekend. I paid and left…. Only £10 though because I misunderstood what he was saying at the time and thought that was a ridiculous price for a curry for one anyway. The curry itself wasn’t good either. The meat was tough (what there was of it) and tasted odd…and the sauce tasted watered down. There were only three chillis in the whole thing. Not impressed and won’t eat there again.

Very poor service, The waiter was very rude. There was no supply of heating, when we asked him to put the heating as it was snowing outside he refused. Food quality was very bad too. Every dish tasted the same, sweet and very bad.

Worst Indian food ever tasted. Never ordering it again. Can only taste uncooked masala in every dish. Thought it was better before but got very bad after taste too. Very very disappointed. Not meant to put uncooked masala on every dish if your takeaway name is masalaz. So very in professional.

Ordered through Deliveroo as my usual takeaway wasn’t delivering. I’ve always been disappointed when ordering from random Indians but desperate times haha, However I am glad I chose this one. Delivery arrived early, driver was lovely and efficient. The food was piping hot and was really tasty! I certainly wasn’t disappointed this time!

Lovely meals but charge what they want. You get a menu but they charge their Internet price evan though ordered by phone with their upto date menu they argue and says menu out of date but that was a brand new menu from them the day before. Also adding delivery costs. Check prices they rip you off

i have always enjoyed masalaz, their curries have a lovely thick sauce and are not swimming in oil like a lot of others. Tonight we ordered online and they had a problem with their website so the order had not gone through to them. When i called to chase, they were fantastic, really apologetic and promised to get the order to us asap. It was delivered 20 minutes later, piping hot and honestly one of the absolute best curries i have ever had. Cant fault them. Highly recommended

I’ve never ordered from here before and I have to say the food was delicious, the best we’ve had from any Indian takeaway in Nuneaton. We will definitely be ordering from here again. If you want good tasty Indian food, try here you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely rude delivery driver. We are in the middle of a pandemic and food is delivered without gloves or masks. Delivery driver leaves his car in the middle of a junction and when asked to move it he verbally abused me in my own car only stopping when realising my son was in the passenger seat. No social distancing was undertaken by this driver as he was literally 6 inches away not 6 feet! Food was inedible and thrown away.. would not recommend.

I ordered our Friday night takeaway, during this lockdown period via the just eat app. I was not disappointed. The food came on time, first point. Secondly, poppadoms hot and fresh. The dishes were very well prepared and as described. I have to add many takeaways i have experienced are generally too oily, but this was not. Superb Masalaz, we will be returning soon!

Placed an order via just eat on Friday evening at 7:45, with delivery for 9pm. That was extended by restaurant to 9:30 and the just eat app stated it was delivered at 9:30 but in fact no food had arrived by that time and the restaurant wasn’t answering not had they contacted us with any updated delivery time. Delivery was actually attempted at 10:45 pm at which time we refused to accept the food as we were on our way to bed. The restaurant has since refused to refund the money paid. Up to now we have been regular customers but it seems loyalty is not rewarded and we won’t be using them again and would recommend you avoid if looking to place an order for delivery as can’t be relied upon.

Masalaz is a great curry house - we've never had a bad meal! We usually get a Special Biryani and a Chicken Madras with pilau rice and a Keema Naan. There's always loads of meat in the dishes and they're all well cooked. My partner loves a spicy dish and is never disappointed with the Madras, and the Keema Naan is delicious as well. They're very generous with poppadoms and pickles too! The ordering system on the website is super convenient and easy to use, and the food is always delivered hot and in good time.

Ordered a take away as a treat for the family and the food was inedible.... Madras tasted sour and the meat was fatty and grisly... Nan bread was greasy... Most of order ended up in the bin

Ordered a king prawn curry and got nothing like king prawn curry chicken was like grisle and vilecurrys was like water and had not taste at all the bloke I spoke to was not interested at all I'm only given one star because u can't put zero stars

ordered a curry, normally an hour wait over 2 hours later and after phoning but no answer multiple times. I would never recommend them, unreliable, poor customer service, the place doesn't deserve to be in business with this atrocious customer service!!

Ordered three meals. One was entirely wrong, one was missing the main dish, the other missing the side. Phoned them back, but the extremely rude man on the phone refused to listen and simply put the phone down... twice! It also took them nearly two hours from our order at 6pm to deliver the wrong order that they then refused to discuss. Pathetic and. A guy that should never be allowed to be customer facing. Unless you are planning to walk in and check your order is correct before paying, I would strongly suggest you pick another takeaway.

Ordered for delivery. When it finally turned up, all three meals were wrong. One of the delivered curries was a chicken tikka masala madras! Anyone ever heard of that, let alone ordered it? Phoned them back to tell them the delivery was completely wrong, but the extremely rude guy just point blank refused to accept anything was wrong and slammed the phone down, twice! I'd strongly suggest you pick another takeaway to place your order with.

Absolutely disgusted with this place and the rude staff who are in total denial. Just came out of hospital with my poorly son and we thought we would order a take away. First time we ordered there was no problem but we had to wait an hour. Second time we waited an hour and 15 minutes and they gave us 2 popadoms instead of the six we had paid for. They then took a further 25 mins to bring them to us as the owners gave the driver the wrong address. Just ordered tonight and waited an hour and a half!! The curry was open so I told the driver he said it was an accident, so I went and checked the rest and it was all in the bag, was literally splilt everywhere. Was like it had been tampered with. The starters were so greasy it was on the kitchen floor! I told the guy on the phone, it's all over the place and we would like a refund which we would happily give them the food back. He decided to speak over my girlfriend very loudly and said there was nothing wrong with the food. What a discusting human being and restaurant. 0 rating if I could.

Had take away ( always use these when in the area). Absolute rubbish. Waited over an hour for delivery, which we were charged for, got only 150gms of fried mushrooms, no taste £4 , phoned up to complain and all they said was that's our portions, since when, they used to be good on quality and quantity not any more.Naan bread stodgie and poppadoms stale. Won't be going here again. Shame.

I have just got out of hospital after having major food poisoning from the chicken tikka masala. First and last time I order

It's a bit average. This was my first time trying this place for a takeaway after reading generally good reviews here and elsewhere. The benchmark for me for takeaway in Nuneaton or Bedworth is the Indian Lounge and as yet nothing has really bettered it overall...however their delivery is often terrible (up to 2 hours). These guys delivered piping hot food about 20 minutes before the advised time so full marks there especially considering it was a Friday night. Ordered just for myself so I'll just comment on what I had.... You can often judge an Indian just by how good (or not) their onion bhajis are. Here they would have actually been quite superb if they hadn't put so much salt in them and that spoilt it for me. As for the king prawn butterfly starter...pretty tasteless and a rip at £4.95. For main I had mushroom rice (very nice) and chicken tikka dhansak which was disappointingly light on the chicken so mostly sauce which was tasty enough but a bit runny and overall nothing to write home about really. Not sure I'd give them another go in a hurry but I won't rule it out based on this first experience.

Went in before attending a gig across the road. we told him it had to be quick and he said "no problem". it took 25 minutes to be served. in the meantime they did 5 takeaway orders. lamb tikka was way too dry. Wife's saag and paneer was decent but not wow. Service was nice can't fault the nice guy but we missed the beginning of the gig...

My son and I each had had very good starters, curries and condiments. The service was good and I would happily go there when next in Nuneaton.

I would not normally rate but due to the fact that me, my partner and my daughter had more than half a plate of food each to throw away, thought I should. After all these ratings are to help improve. Tasteless and a lack of meat, My vegetarian dish was lacking the quality of other biryanis I have had and was just grease. Poppadoms were good though 😀

I went in to Masalaz to ask about ingredients due to an allergy and was told the chef did not know what was in the food. HORRIFYING!!!!

We arrived at 6.30 on a Sunday evening and we were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered our drinks and 8 papadoms. Then waited and waited then ordered our starters and mains and another drink. Then waited and waited by 7.45 we still had been served our mains still the only table in restaurant. The mains were brought out on a trolley and put at the side of our table then the just eat computer went off and he stopped serving us to go to computer. When he came back he reheated food then started serving items were missing off order and the butter chicken had a block of butter plonked on the top this was the last straw. When we said we wanted to pay for what we had eaten and leave the waited seemed confused as the delays had been caused by us ordering 8 papadoms and we had not stated when ordering that we didn't want breaks between courses we will not be using again

Classy Indian restaurant with fantastic service.

A group of 10 of us visited on a Friday evening. Restaurant quite small but nice . Staff very welcoming . Menu really varied with lots of choice. We all had different starters an main courses.... everything was great. My only critism was it did take quite a while. But all the food was well cooked tasty an good portions. Staff very friendly an helpful. We will all return.... excellent food.

Disgusting place , rude staff who owed us money after a wrong order , promised refund but never received , if your vegitarian or have any allergies do not use . Be careful your life may be in there hands

The foods ok, but it has the most unfriendly staff of any restaurant I have used.
