Cafe is friendly and warm, and the coffee is decent but not great. Food servings are large and a bit rich. Staff are brilliant.

Sullivan’s is such a lovely place, run by lovely people. Had a fab meal this evening with the pizza’s and Italian tapas a great idea and very enjoyable. Always a nice vibe and always a great evening.

The Ultimate Café Dining Experience: A Visit to Sullivan's Today, I was fortunate enough to secure a seat at Sullivan's Café. Where do I begin? The breakfast was cooked to perfection and offered the best flavors I've ever tasted. Even the water was unique—served in a can rather than the typical Brecon Carreg bottled water. The décor transported me back to the classic 1950s and 60s, complete with vintage touches and a playlist that perfectly suited the ambiance. The atmosphere was nothing short of magical, creating an experience that was both nostalgic and invigorating. For an extraordinary dining experience that goes beyond just breakfast, I highly recommend visiting Sullivan's. It's a place where every detail is thoughtfully crafted to provide a memorable meal.

Lovely, intimate and atmospheric venue for any time of day. We visited for brunch on a wednesday - it was pleasantly busy, the food was delicious, the coffee was great and the service warm and friendly. Looking forward to going back to one of their evening events. Highly recommend a visit.

Went here today for afternoon tea to celebrate a milestone birthday. Staff very warm and welcoming and the afternoon tea was a lovely ratio of savoury and sweet. Lots to eat and absolutely delicious! Still enough to take home and enjoy later. Highly recommend this little gem, plenty of free parking a few yards from the coffee shop as well. Oh, and dog friendly too!!

Made to feel uncomfortable, after finishing my drink, I was waiting for 12.00pm to order lunch, but was asked to leave if I wasn't buying anything, even though there were many empty tables. Incorrect food order too 😞

The Cafe itself is visually appealing, but it falls short when concerning the staff and food. The staff were rather rude, replying in short, agitated sentences, making me feel unwelcome. This isn’t helped by the fact they asked me to leave after half hour, stating no reason as to why. I ended up offering to move tables, because I was planning to order and wasn’t ready to leave yet, but the waitress fumbled over her words awkwardly and said that I could stay. Unfortunately, this isn’t where the negative experience ends. When I ordered my food, I requested, and paid extra, for bacon and egg. In addition to this, I requested no balsamic glaze. You can imagine my shock when my food arrived, and not only was it missing the bacon, but there was balsamic glaze, a hair, and it was freezing cold. It almost felt like a personal attack for refusing to leave. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning, though i’m sure the staff will be pleased to hear that considering the vendetta they seemed to have against me.

This was our 2nd visit to Sullivans for an afternoon tea the first one was for Christmas this one was for Mother’s Day and it didn’t disappoint the food was stunning, the staff were great and pleasant nothing was to much trouble! Thank you so much to you all we will definitely return!

Absolutely gorgeous, food amazing, ambience lovely, cosy little tables, open in the evening too with live music, good menu and excellent quality, easily accessible and toilets on the same level, wheelchair access good, keep an eye out for thier specials, also do takeaways, check one of the photos for other things they do,

First visit here. Parking was a little tricky, ended up parking on a side street nearby. Interior decor very eclectic and lovely a atmosphere due to the welcome greeting by the owners. The Club Sandwich was fantastic and absolutely plentiful. The biscoff cheesecake looked outstanding but unfortunately had very little taste. I would still return here as its a lovely place.

Great small bistro restaurant caters for all and has a licensed bar. Live music on certain nights and late closings Highly recommended

Really lovely in there, staff is actually amazing in there, they are so kind and sweet. Had a carrot cake yesterday. Honestly, it was the best carrot cake I've ever had. It's really nicely decorated. The heating is amazing, and it's just generally a really nice place. I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't been in there.

Went there for breakfast. Busy little quirky place. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Amazing food! Highly recommended. Best breaksaft I've had for ages! The coffee was great. I had Flat white before breakfast and a Cappuccino after and both were made to perfection.

This quaint cafe has everything... lovely quirky tastefully done decor, friendly and accommodating staff, and most importantly, amazing tasty food at a reasonable price! We were on our way home to Surrey when we found this little gem and so glad we did!

The breakfast was nice but the service was very poor. Two young girls serving on 14/09/23 with no urgency. Not many people there. Coffees came within 5 minutes , however breakfast took nearly 45 mins despite being asked twice if they had forgotten us. Two men came in after us & were served within 10 mins. No apology. Coffee had been drunk long before meal came. Very disappointed.

We visited Sullivan’s recently and it is a lovely cafe with friendly staff and delicious food. I would highly recommend the pancakes with Nutella and strawberries.

This Gorgeous Lady at the Coffee shop held our table, when travelling from Kent even though we had traffic on route to Camping. Responded to quickly on messenger. Great yummy Breakfasts and dog friendly. Wrote out a list things to do for us on our visit. Lovely little shop & the friendliest service! Highly recommended! 5 stars!

Booked for an afternoon tea for my friends 30th Birthday. The food and drinks were brought out within minutes of us arriving by lovelt friendly staff. Food was beautiful and there was plenty of it. Although we only had the afternoon tea we were still admiring the food being brought to others, it looked absolutely delicious and really drcent sized portions. Weve said we need to return soon for a normal meal. They were advertising tapas nights coming up, sounds very interesting and I would really like to try them. Lovelt atmosphere in the day and I bet it would be just as good in the evening, cosy lovely feeling to the place.

Such a cute little tea room. Afternoon tea was lovely, a great mix of sandwiches and cakes. The scones were delicious and unlimited tea refills - perfect!

Great hosts of our Mad hatters tea party for a family 70th birthday. We were able to add a few birthday banners to what was already such a fantastic decorated venue. Catering specifically for all our needs and theme and was very helpful with all the preparty prep. A great and memorable time had by all. Thank you so much.

Not a good experience £46 for 4 breakfast but did get £20 back ,eggs wernt cooked cold sausage cold hard bacon ,they got me another breakfast but it had been warmed up hard sausage hard bacon still white runny eggs took one bite of second breakfast left it shame the quality of the ingredients wer poor sausage realy bad backon realy thin hard and cold shame lovly looking place ,

Lovely interior and friendly staff, such a shame about the food. We attended for afternoon tea, the sandwiches were totally uninspired, not even cress in the egg sandwich, just plain ham, just tuna mayo, all so boring. The scones were nice, jam was average, likely not homemade. I'm 99% sure the cakes were shop bought, super disappointing. Happy to pay a little more if the standard was higher and it was homemade.

Went to Sullivan's for an afternoon tea for a 40th birthday party.Lovely welcoming atmosphere and really quaint decor. The food was beautiful and fresh and good quality and reasonably priced , the hot chocolate was fab.Would definitely recommend this place and would visit again.Thank you .

I have visited Sullivan’s café many times for brunch or tea and cake but this time I ordered several of the antipasto grazing boxes for a private party at a lodge in October 2022. It was for a celebration birthday so I didn’t want to do any cooking or washing up!   The grazing boxes were presented beautifully, and were shared between two people. I purchased extra sandwiches and cakes thinking the grazing box might not be enough between two people but I was proven wrong. There was so much left over. I would highly recommend the grazing boxes as they are full of fresh meats, cheeses, bread, and other tasty bites. I have to say that this is my go to place whenever I want to book any further take away food for parties.

We booked for an afternoon tea for four, it was really lovely. Bone China cups and saucers were used. Good choice of dainty sandwiches, crisps, Gorgeous scones and miniature cakes. A lovely friendly welcoming place run by Rachel. A lovely experience! We really enjoyed it!

I ordered pancakes which cost £6. When the pancakes arrived, they were store bought. These pancakes are the ones you get from Tescos, they cost £1 a pack. These pancakes tasted old, as I am familiar with them! I wouldn’t go here. It’s all just decoration. No good quality food. Not worth the pricing.

Made my Mum's 90th birthday special with wonderful food and service. Mum wanted chips which were not on the menu but they made them for her and she had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup all washed down with a nice cuppa. They also arranged a taxi for wheelchair user as our other one had let us down badly.

Been living in swansea for nearly a decade and after being to Sullivans twice I can 100% say "best breakfast in swansea". Really comfortable little establishment with freindly staff and amazing food. Anyone looking for a cafe should come here as you wont be dissapointed with the food. Cappuccino was also amazing. Well done Sullivans!!!...... Three of us went to Sullivan's for a breakfast. It was our first visit on recommendation. While the place is lovely the staff are very helpful the breakfast food was nice quality unfortunately 2 of the breakfasts were warm at best and going cold quickly. Would still recommend a visit but would ask to make sure that the food was hot.

Very nice place, gr8 service and excellent food

Delicious all day breakfast, with plenty to eat at a reasonable price in a relaxing atmosphere. We had delicious tea in quaint tea cups and could have had a choice of stunning home made cakes (some are gluten free) , but we were too full today, haha. Good choice of flavoured teas and coffees on offer.

I go there on occasions for a cuppa to meet others. It's a lovely setting and sometimes very busy. Even though there may be some delays due to business, the staff work really hard to give the best service. Reasonably priced too and lovely interior!

Ordered avocado and chilli flakes on toast & poached egg on toast. Staff member asked the kitchen staff who just sat down with poached egg on toast for herself if it was too late for poached egg, she said yes sorry, while she tucked into hers! Charming! When our toast came out 40mins later, the avocado was thinner than butter, no chilli flakes, and topped with crumbly cheese. My bacon was tough and hard to cut. We were so disappointed, what a waste of time and money, not good enough sorry.

Popped in for our Friday breakfast today. Order my usual scrambled egg on brown toast and a skinny cap. Always love the decor and atmosphere here and service was quick and friendly. Scrambled egg was good, could have do e with a little more though and being a tad warmer. Coffee was delicious.

Great experience here and quality food all at an affordable price. The gent was king enough to have some scraps for our dog and they served the food professionally and without any hassle.

We decided to have a lazy, late Sunday breakfast here after reading the positive reviews. Lovely interior and attentive staff. Great choice of teas and coffees and a menu that's not too extensive. We both had a large breakfast at £7.95 accompanied by a pot of tea. The teas arrived promptly along with old school cups and saucers which were lovely. Then the breakfast arrived. I'm sorry to say that, with the exception of the mushrooms and hash brown, all the food was barely tepid. The poached eggs were over, although in their defence, we did not specify how we would like the eggs cooked. As the breakfasts were served quite promptly I naively assumed they were 'fresh off the grill', sadly not. Despite the lovely ambiance and friendly staff I feel that there can be no excuse for luke warm food. Had all the food been piping hot it would have represented good value for money. Such a pity.

Such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Table was booked for 10 people for breakfast, all meals delivered promptly, all piping hot and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble, staff were very helpful 👍

Visited early today (October 22nd) and before they were busy, the staff were friendly and polite and the food as always tasted good, but the (poached) egg white was barely set in places and the food was only just warm. This was within the first half hour of them opening, so would hate to think what it would be like later in the day.

I have to say, this place would be without a doubt my daily go to, if only I lived closer. Found it online as I was looking for somewhere in Pontardulais to call in for breakfast, and this place appealed. Well it blew me away, the decor, the service, the patrons and most of all the food. Beautiful! I had probably the best scrambled eggs on toast I've ever had and my partner had the small breakfast. Absolutely delightful. We will get back soon as is possible 👍

My husband and I visited today and what a treat! From the moment you walked through the door It is just such a beautiful setting. We were greeted by Emma who was absolutely delightful - the food, customer service and everything was exceptional we can't wait to go back - first class! Just absolutely thrilled to find this gem right on our doorstep!

Well we’re shall I start, we went to this cafe today with my family for breakfast there was four of us, we ordered drinks we all had coffee which was cold and not cheap, I don’t mind paying for it as long as it’s warm, then we ordered our breakfast, I had a bacon Sandwich, my husband had 2 porches eggs avocado with one rashe of bacon on toast, my son had breakfast which the beans was cold and my daughter in law had egg benidic, three of us had ours and my daughter in-law had to wait for herse, nobody of the staff came to ask are you waiting for another breakfast, so I had to ask them as they were brining other peoples food out, there was no apologies at all, I asked for another coffee I had to send that back, the waitress brought it back not a fresh one with hot water on top and she plonked my cup down with her hands all over my cup and I found the staff need more training!!! As we finished our food the owner came to take our plates then she picked my sons glass up with orange juice left didn’t ask if he’d finished we just wonted to get out of there my husband went to pay the bill and told them that one of the breakfast was late and just was told by the owner yes that’s because they forgot to make it so at that point he just wonted to pay the bill and get out ant the bill cost us £45. 65 as they charged for every extra item on my husbands plate which they could have charged him for egg benidic and payed extra for his bacon, the only person was polite there is the boy with glasses,the waitress that’s needs more training as they walked into our chairs several occasions. Sad to say but won’t be returning here again.

Nice decor, good ambiance and decent service. The food could be improved i.e Hot dishes served hot and recently prepared. Pork was dry, brie was hard (should be hot and melted (deep fried)). Only four dining which I felt was reflective of the standard. Otherwise...

Lovely food in a cosy place with friendly staff and great service.

First time here but unfortunately will not return. Not sure if it was an off day but ordered food and took 55 minutes to arrive, and the order was wrong after that time. The lady was nice but her reply was not acceptable.

Always a great experience at Sullivan's. It doesn't matter whether we go for breakfast, lunch or something a little later they deliver time and time again. I would most certainly recommend.

We love Tapas and saw that Sullivan's were advertising a tapas night, as I regularly take a friend there for coffee and cake I booked it as a special occasion. We were delighted by the result. The staff were as usual low key friendly and...

Outstanding. Had a large breakfast. The high quality produce really shines through in everything you order. Real bread, real butter. Beans were of the highest quality. I didn't book in advance and was easily fitted in, but it's advised as it got very busy fast. Staff were very friendly and high attention to detail. Waiting staff monitored tables to the standard of my days working as a silver service waiter in high class hotels. I can easily give this experience a 10 out of 10. I will pop in again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

Just want to say, thank you so much for the ‘Take away’ afternoon tea for my wife’s birthday . It was absolutely delicious 🤤 I highly recommend this if your a little nervous of going out to any restaurant or cafe. The selection was fabulous and cakes and sarnies were brilliant😀 I will definitely be using them again, and when my wife feels comfortable to do so, we will pop down for lunch or evening meal.
