It is my opinion that the Wings dish should NOT be just the flat and the wing tip. The tip is inedible and useful only for stocks etc. The curry was too sugary for me also.

Tried Suk Thai tonight and boy was I lucky as it shut's at 21:30... Had the Thai green chicken curry and coconut rice and what I thought would be mini chicken curry spring rolls - No there were three large spring rolls... Great portion sizes with plenty of chicken... Girls who served me were friendly as was the delivery driver - Would thoroughly recommend... Definitely one of the best in the area 10/10

Food was ok but not very inspiring. Not very Thai-ish

Portions had a good size. We ordered Weeping Tiger as a main dish. Unfortunately it was cold and hard to eat. Vegetables with nuts were deliciously, soups were perfect in taste but bit cold.

I usually only write reviews if something is really great or terrible. Well, this one was excellent! The crispy squid was unlike others, really crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. The flavours were just right and fresh. The sweet chilli sauce that came with it was much better then the gloopy stuff you get in the bottle. The beef curry was so delicious, almost perfect. I say almost because I am picky and we all have different taste buds. I would have preferred less potatoes in it and more curry sauce instead. But the portion itself was more then generous. This will be my go to takeaway from now on. Loved it.

We waited till 8:30pm for a meal ordered at 6pm. Half of the food was cold. Whilst waiting we called the restaurant to check on progress 3 times. Every time they said it was either on its way or just leaving. The delivery drive was apologetic and professional. Not his fault in any way. Resturant staff just lied to us and then sent out sub standard food.

So pleased we gave suk thai a go.... I'll put it bluntly. I have just had the best takeaway thai meal........thank you....you now have another loyal customer. Keep it up!

Beef massaman curry, sticky rice and fried squid. All were delicious. Curry was rich, tender, fresh and full of flavour. Squid melted in mouth. Fast delivery.

Lovely green curry and Satay chicken.

Chicken Pad Thai was just plain egg noodles with egg (no flavour, no chicken). Laab Gai was minty minced chicken and inedible. Massaman was so oily and tasted like gravy. Starters were ok. Really disappointed as we’d thought to try a new restaurant. Sorry guys won’t be a returning customer.

We dont like to be unkind (BUT) we both cook and enjoy Asian cuisine at home. Most of what we ordered was (AT BEST) very poor and nothing like the menu description. Ordered a (Mild) Thai yellow curry that looked a dark oily and green colour . Tasted very odd with a very overpowering concentrated bitter taste. Tempura prawns were in my opinion very dry ,and an odd dead strait appearance. the Chicken stir-fry did not have the same ingredients as advertised on the menu. The Only thing that was OK were a portion of plain noodles .the portion size of all ordered dishes was very small for the price. As we order Chinese/Thai food all the time ,we normally have ample left over for a snack the following day. Dont like to leave negative review , but it really was that bad.

It was presented very nice in little box's and tastes good just a shame it wasn't hot. Luke warm isn't great when you've spent £18 on 3 choices.

Delivery spot on, The food was lovely tasting but it wasn’t hot just luke warm put me off a bit especially as we had the steamed jasmine rice, Tempura prawns were Luke warm Too, if it had been hit it would have been amazing!!!

curry and rice was nice however the prawn parcels were like a tiny bit of prawn deep fried crispy nachos not quite what i was expecting,also the squid was ok but too much batter both could of been more asian as they were just plane

I can’t normally be arsed to leave reviews (especially good ones) but this place deserves it. We’ve now eaten here 4 times and the food is really high quality. Came bang on time.but the Duck spring roll was more like a celery speong roll with one piece of duck inside. Weeping tiger for £14.50 (over cooked chopped up and dry sirloin). Red curry all you can taste is what i think is kefir lime leaves. Sticky rice freezing cold. Not happy at all

This is a new takeaway/delivery only Thai place in Southend so I gave it a try. The food was mostly good and the portions very generous in size. Delivery was prompt, and much sooner than they estimated. The menu is quite extensive. A starter of satay chicken was delicious, perfectly cooked with a little pot of peanut sauce with a spicy kick and another little pot of cucumber and chillies with a sweet chilli sauce too - obviously lots of thought and attention had gone into this. It’s not an ordinary takeaway, clearly! A beef mussamun curry was very large in size, but lacked spicing and I couldn’t detect any cinnamon. But the beef was all lean and tender. A dish of stir-fried vegetables with ginger was also delicious and again plentiful.

Loved this authentic Thai food! I've been accustomed to eating Thai in a large restaurant in Crystal Palace in which it's difficult to get a booking, It's always full of Thai nationals , however Suk Thai tastes just the same! Every bit as good here in Southend, win win!

An amazing Thai food take away. I've been in the habit of travelling to Crystal Palace London for great Thai but this restaurant is doing it here in Southend. The food is authentic Thai which I find outstanding.
