Subway Bickerstaffe Square in Blackpool

I was on my way to carch a train from Blackpool North station and decided to get something healthy to eat and spotted Subway. I am trying to make better choices at the moment so decided to have a salad. Unfortunately they do not have any cutlery so if I wanted to have this I woud have to use my fingers. Apparently they are in the process of switching from plastic to wooden cutlery but this is not available for them to purchase which is a bit of a mess up by the company. The staff were friendly and sympathetic to my dilemna but it was out of their hands. Fortunately the salad was excellent and had all the things in it I enjoy. I would have given them 5 stars had it not been for the lack of cutlery.

Very fast service from absolutely lovely staff, food was of a great standard, very convenient and a brilliant quick bite to eat when walking in or around town.

Typical Subway, great choice and price, sat in out of the rain, had a quick bite before meeting up with friends, no complaints.

We wanted some food to have on the train so popped in for a kids pack and adult meal. Both were delicious but the pop bottles were room temperature on a red hot day.

This is truly a lovely setting for a subway and plenty of seating outside to enjoy your food on a lovely day.. Slap bang in the centre of town opposite the railway station, ideal.

love subway had a delivery but the got my order wrong however they sent me my full order back out to replace it so still giving 5 stars as i absolutely thoroughly enjoyed it

Was very busy with only 2 staff so queuing was a bit of a let down but food was lovely. Not much seating places available so sat outside .

Great subway outlet, clean inside, great service, handy for the shops and railway station. Food is as you would expect.

Called here after arriving in Blackpool for the day as we wanted something fast. definitely received fast service. Usual subway food, staff were pleasant and helpful, did what they could to make the meal good too. Toilet needed a key and also needs upgrading too otherwise we were completely satisfied.

I should have complained !!. Called in early for a quick 'breakfast' roll and cup of tea. Never tried it before, so orderd a bacon egg and cheese flatbread roll. Saw the young girl hastily 'assemble' what looked like a cold piece of bacon, thin cheese slice and a 'flat piece of cold scrambled egg!!!. All this went onto the 'wrap'and into a type of microwave. all 'cooked' within less that a minute. I should have had more senes than to use this chain and its 'mass produced crap'. It was probably the most disgusting so called 'breakfast roll' I have ever tasted. Left most of it and walked out. Will never return.

i love a subway roll when im out it makes a change from going for a sit down meal it fills you when you just want a snack

Whilst this place provides your average Subway fare, I always find the service here has been second to none. Plus, it is perfect for the nearby Blackpool North rail station.

As a chain you expect the same quality, service and products, certainly not the case here. Very limited salad, lettuce, tomato, onion, pepper, olives and jalapenos, I thought they were closing? No sweetcorn the response was nobody wants sweetcorn here yet the next 5 people all asked for sweetcorn and got the same answer? Staff arguing with each other dirty tables and floor, full bin not a nice experience, they couldn't even cut the bread properly which made the sandwich hard to eat, will not be going back unless something drastic happens with the staff and premises.

Subways are like any major chain. The same in Boston as in Blackpool. So I wouldn't normally write a review for a fast food outlet. But I wanted to say that I was treated badly in this shop. I ordered a simple sandwich and the staff member serving me noted that I was in a hurry. I thanked him for speeding things up. The food was a hot meal and as he was making the food an older man came into the shop. He pushed in front of me and everyone else in the shop and stayed he wanted a "cheap and small sandwich". Now, instead of saying to the man. "If you join the queue Sir, I will be with you shortly" or even pointing out to him the huge menu above us all. He abandoned my hot food and asked the man to step to one side. He then started to explain to him the food options. I said to the staff member. "Mate, I am in a hurry and you were serving me." To which I was snapped at. "I'm not even on sandwiches!!" So, what was he making my sandwich for? Why did he offer to serve me? He then went back to the man. To assist him further. I replied, simply, "Tell you what mate, RAM IT!!" In a nutshell. I have been put off Subway for life.
