Subway in Walsall

I swear, everywhere I go has great reviews but I never understand why. I popped into the Spar that this Subway is inside of, not intending to get anything from Subway. I noticed they had cookies left as I walked past so once I'd got what I needed from Spar I popped back to the Subway counter to grab a box of cookies. The lady server didn't bother greeting me and when I asked for a box of cookies she said there wasn't enough left. I'd already counted 5 double choc and 8 macadamia which were the two flavours I wanted anyway (a box is 12 cookies). I let her know this and with some huffing and puffing she grabbed two already-packaged packs of 3 cookies of unknown flavours and put two lots of three others in little bags, one of which I saw was double choc, which she slapped down on the counter without much care at all. I didn't see which other cookies she'd grabbed so when she just asked "cash or card?" (good job I didn't want anything else eh) I asked her to confirm which ones she'd bagged, she said six of each - I hadn't even said how many of each I wanted by the way. As she was doing something on the till she asked quite sarcastically if I wanted to look at them before paying! I told her I was just checking. I mean, they weren't even for me - and I did ask for a box in the first place, not a mix and match of bags and packets, so I don't find it unreasonable to double check what she'd carelessly whacked into bags. Admittedly this isn't a big deal, but the total lack of customer service is what I'm complaining about here - in her job, there's no excuse for poor customer service. And I'm sat waiting for my kid to finish drama class so I have time to waste to write this. I was a visitor to the area, this wasn't my local Subway, thank God. I won't be buying from here again.

Ordered an hour and half ago. Not happy with delivery time.

Delicious dishes, quick service, and a warm atmosphere. The friendly staff made our evening special. Perfect for family outings or dinners with friends. I’ll return!

While waiting to be served watched the one girl put on gloves to make subs, but the preceded to touch everything with the same gloves, fridge and cabinet handles, food, the device that shows the deliveroo orders, the knife, no point wearing gloves, she may as well be spitting in the food. People will get sick because of this. She also whinged about having to make subs, to her colleague the whole time I was there. Didn't subway used to be known for being quick as well? The 2 girls on today took forever to do anything.

Miserable staff. Obviously didn't want to be there. Moaning about how many subs they had to make. Not organised at all. Very disappointing
