Just went into Subway (Wragby Rd). It’s 19:30, they shut at 20:00. All the chairs were up on the tables & a member of staff was sweeping up. We were told it was take away only, which I was fine with. I then ordered two hot drinks and was told the machine was on its cleaning cycle for closing so no hot drinks available. Maybe cover the hot drinks menu over if they’re not available past a certain time. Really disappointed

I ordered a plant based salad from Subway (Wragby Road) Lincoln on Friday 16th June on the subway app. I got home to eat my lunch and half way through eating realised there had been a huge error and I had been served real steak. I have not eaten meat for over 20 years. Beyond upset and disgusted, I emailed subway generic email address and the following day the franchise “manager” Matt replied, asking for receipt proof of order. No apology. I suggested this could have been so much more serious if it had been an allergy consequence. He asked for my number to ring to discuss. No phone call ever received. No answer to further emails. No acknowledgment of error. No apology!! I asked about perhaps staff being reminded of protocols, checking basics like a receipt order, stressing this could have been really serious and they need to get this stuff right. No replies again. Such a lack of customer care. Franchise owner seemingly doesn’t bother with the basics of courtesy and replying to complaints. I don’t want a freebie or compensation but an admittance and simple apology is the least one assumes subway would be able to manage! Ignoring all emails and communication. Who knows what else they aren’t checking and getting right?! If this was a dairy allergy, nut allergy etc this could have killed someone. This “just” being my lifestyle choice is not good enough that Subway have not dealt with the matter at all.

Well hasn't subway gone down hill. We arrived on the road side and entered through that door and was told rudely to use the other door as that was for user eats pick up. Then as there was no customers in there we was then hurried up and the staff very impatient. Also having a child with learning disabilities they was very impatient with him too. On asking if they die a tikka child's meal they said no but wouldn't change a simple chicken to a tikka on request. The staff here have no interest in the customers needs. The drinks machine was also out of fizz and again they felt inconvenienced for having to sort this out. This store was also very dirty food on the floor noone seemed to be bother about cleaning considering no customers at ti's time.with 3 members of staff 1 could have sweeped up and cleaned table. The price for a drink and sandwich for 5 people bag of crisps and a few cookies came to £31 . Very expensive. Oh wow and the toilet is disgusting

We visited here today to get a gluten free sandwich. Every other subway store I have visited follow the GF Preparation process and I’ve never had any troubles before. In this store all 4 of the staff that were serving didn’t have a clue, multiple staff picked my gluten free bread up after touching normal gluten containing bread without changing their gloves, the first one was burnt too. I mentioned to the lady on the till that it wasn’t being prepared correctly and it’s serious as it could make me ill. The lady who was called Beth didn’t say sorry nor did she make the sandwich as per proper process after I said something. In fact as we paid she was smirking at the situation and I was made to feel like I was being difficult when in actual fact they were not doing their jobs properly. I am very disappointed that no one seemed to take this seriously, people can get seriously ill from gluten contamination. Subway should be ashamed that they employ staff like this who are not trained correctly or more than likely just don’t give a crap about their jobs there! IF YOU HAVE ANY GLUTEN INTOLERANCE STAY AWAY FROM HERE.

Treated my partner horrifically. She’s Celiac and therefore has very specific dietary requirements, yet when she ordered the gluten free sandwich she watched as staff passed the sandwich around alongside other regular sandwiches (cross contamination) and also prepared the sandwich in an incorrect manner. When telling the manager (Beth) she received no apology and Beth also had the nerve to smirk and laugh at her when we were paying. Extremely unprofessional and poor service and we won’t be buying from this subway again.

The server wanted to charge us £2.50 for 2 glasses of tap water. Because we used a paper cup that wasnt allowed to be used for free tap water. Apparently they have a different paper cup for that. Told him where to stick his cup. And gave him 50p. Was going to order a sandwich but the appaling condition of the chopping board stopped us. Black deep scratches full of bacteria on every inch of all the boards. Never will we set foot in there again. Disgusting

I stay at different hotels every week with my line of work and i've honestly never been compelled to leave a poor review until I stayed at The Lincoln hotel. The staff we met on arrival were lovely, helpful and friendly. Checked us in and all smiles. Perfect. Walking up to our room, the hotel looks dated and run down, and has a rather strong and unpleasant smell. The corridor leading to our room was literally bare plaster with some paint scraped and missing in places. (Picture provided). The room itself was very small, and dirty. The bed and bedding were clean, the toilet had been well scrubbed, but cobwebs and dusty windows would be so easy to sort with a decent deep clean. The view of of the window into the court yard is unpleased. It's a mess, and another thing that would be so easy to just clean up with a couple of staff and an afternoon. We attended on Valentine weekend, which also happened to be my birthday weekend. Again, the staff at the bar were lovely, and when they heard it was my birthday we found a free "Happy Birthday" dessert in our room upon our return. My cousin was staying in another room on the other side of the hotel, ready for a night out on the Saturday to celebrate my birthday. When we returned to the hotel after our night out, at around 3am, we found that we were locked out of the main reception. All locked up, lights off, no sign of staff and no answer on the intercom or phone. I waited for 15 minutes or so before simply pulling the doors until they opened so that I could just go to bed. The following morning, my cousin called me to say that he was stuck in his room. His hotel room door was literally stuck in the locked position and wouldn't open. We went and spoke to staff who called someone out. 30 minutes later a chap arrived and had to break the door down just so my cousin could leave. He was not apologised to, or offer a free cup of tea or anything. Nothing was said to him when we finally made it to reception, the manager had been up to check the door before it was opened but was far from apologetic. To summerise, it wasn't the cheapest room, nor the most expensive (around £150 per night we stayed for 2 nights) but a standard of cleaning is not being met. The reception and bar staff were friendly, the manager was unhelpful and the whole place needs money spending on it to bring it up to date! Im not a professional cleaner, but give me a couple of days with some bleach and some paint and im sure I could spruce it up a bit compare to how it is. £30 on a tin of paint and an afternoon spend rolling it on the wall would be an improvement. I would not recommend. Another friend stayed in the premier inn and had a lovely room.

Yet again very disappointing Chicken Madras,only taste was the BIR base gravy. No punch as no spice taste. Have had very good Chicken Madras in the past and couldn't fault it using Burton Spice for along time. This is the 3rd disappointing curry within months,definitely time for a change and reading other reviews must have different people cooking,definitely not good 👎
